I love having the right tool for the right job and this tape measure really hit the spot for me - speeds up measuring and cutting nicely and lets me do a quick radius too. Has a very solid feel and all of the mechanisms on it feel built to last. It's rare to find this kind of quality these days. I buy so many things and get angry because they're junk and you can't even find a good quality version because nobody makes one. Okay, I'm done ranting. This is one of the exceptions. Nice to have a great tape measure -- obviously made by someone who cares about the details!

I used this last week to build a gate and fence and I found it extremely useful. First, cutting two boards the same length out of 2x4x8s was a snap to mark. Just set the length and lock it, mark one side, flip to the other end and mark again. That is a small time saver, but multiply it by many boards and it adds up. I also liked knowing exactly where my pencil was all the time, and I found it easy to unlock the pencil grip, use it for something else, and put it back in very easily. I think PencilMan is a great idea and very useful.

Works just as advertised. A little heavy, but that's OK. My wood working is strictly in the garage.

If I drop them on the concrete floor, I do not think that would damage the tape measure.

Love the color, easy to spot right where I set it down. The pencil idea is just great, don"t have to

fish around looking for the pencil that rolled away on the garage floor. The locking machination

lever is just great for making repeated cuttings, right on the money.

Great product with many applications. Appears well made, only time with tell. It's the kind of tool that make you wonder why no one made it sooner. Bisect angles, draw straight lines, round corners, make circles. This is just a simple and handy addition to wood workers tool box. I recommend it, the vendor delivers quickly and at a reasonable price.

I bought my pencilman over a month ago and I use it every day on then job. Why did it take so long for someone to come up with this idea! I'm an electrician doing residential work. The pencilman is perfect for doing overhead measurements and for quick marks on pipework. It has a lot of uses. I will be buying another pencilman to keep as a spare. I've contacted the maker Mr Smith about questions and he always responded promptly. Customer service is 5 star.

I use it everyday and the only problem i see so far is the clip that you use to roll out the tape can bend and give you a wrong measurement

well today it stopped working

they did send me a new one i just don't use it to often

This is a real nice measure for angles. Although I am not a carpenter, the pencil app really makes marking special angle cuts a breeze! Get yours now! It's a good tool for any application!
