The scale is small (12.2 inches x 6.25 inches), but would not reduce the weighting function and accuracy. It's not only perfect for toddler, but excellent for teens or adults. This scale also comes with the latest "Auto-Step-On" technology. There is no need to tap, simply step on the scale to get a reading with 5 seconds automatic shut-off to preserve battery. Press the "Unit" press button on the back of scale to change from Kg to Lb or St. Pick up one of the NewlineNY NY-MSS101 slip case or sleeve for the protection of this nice scale. Important notes: 1. Please make sure the scale must be set on flat, level and hard floor. It will not work right on carpet or rugs. 2. When pulling out of the battery protection tape for 1st time use, please make sure the battery is still in place & tight. Loose battery will cause inaccurate weighing.

Small (slightly longer than a full-size ipad. Heavy in weight. Sleek round edges and coated glass all around. Very durable. Weight was a little off (about 4 lbs heavy) when comparing weight to a balance scale. Bought it for our nursing staff to take weights during home visits. Would even consider the optional fabric case cover to protect the glass. Would consider getting another in one of the other optional colors. Very happy with durability of product and the price.

Inaccurate

I saw reviews that said it was inaccurate but I didn't realize how bad it was. I weighed myself 3 times in a row and got 63 lbs, 97.6 lbs and 179.4 lbs - I weighed on my bathroom scale and it read 159.0. Won't be keeping this one.

I had been searching for a new compact scale after my old one finally gave out after 20 years. I carefully looked at reviews and purchased other scales, all of which I returned and decided to give this one a try. I am so glad I did! This scale is amazing! Love that all you have to do is stand on it and it gives you your weight immediately. Highly accurate. Gave the same weight three times in a row. I have a small bathroom and it fits perfectly on the floor. Highly recommend!

Renting an apartment with a tiny bathroom for a couple of months and this is exactly what I needed! I am 5'10" and wear size 9.5-10 in women's shoes, and I found it not at all difficult to balance on this scale even without shoes on. Weight seems consistent even with pushing it under the sink and pulling it back out frequently. Looks more expensive than it was, too.

Great, accurate scale

Works great and is accurate. Yes, your adult feet will hang off one or both sides of the top and bottom, but this is not a problem. Just center your feet on it and it works good. No calibration required unlike another brand we bought and returned which requires recalibration each time you move it. Very portable.

This is a a great scale. I bought it for my dorm room because I needed something compact. The scale is very accurate, you have to just make sure you are using it on hard floor, like any scale.

It's a little heavier than I expected, so if you're travelling with this in a carryon be aware of the weight. The face is also glass, which probably added the weight. It's compact and will fit well in your bags.

Excellent. Scale is easy to read, and the weights are consistent. Perfect for our small bathroom. We keep it on top of the toilet tank where it is easy to grab and use. Solid and well made.
