I've been in IT since 1995... I'm that guy who knows how to keep ancient computers alive and can seems to keep the hardware going now matter how much it wants to die. Needless to say, I slay dust bunnies on a regular basis.
I normally prefer canned air, it's convenient, does the job (usually) and it's become a staple of the industry since the early 90's.
I use a data vac at the office, I have two of them actually... one with the massive canister for large printers etc and a smaller one that I use mostly for blowing out stuff and rarely for vaccuming.
I don't like those because they are big, bulky and gets hot quickly.
Thought about getting a small blower like this for a while, debating on spending for the rechargeable battery or going cheap and getting a hand held unit that had to be plugged in like the data vac...
Finally got this. And to some degree I'm underwhelmed. I really don't think the air coming out of this is 220+ mph... more like 150
It's enough to move around the big bunnies and blow off light dust, but you're still going to have to go behind with a cloth or something and get the long-term surface dust. Still given it's got the power you'd get from a can of air after that first solid shot, it's not bad at all.
I paid $90 for it, honestly if it last a good long time I'll consider it worth it, but as it stands it doesn't feel like it's worth $50.
Still it doesn't do a bad job. I wonder about the reviewers who said it blew away everything and especially the guy who said he used this thing for 3+ hours when he got it, I used it for maybe 20 minutes and it was so warm in my hand from the motor that I had to stop.
Still it's convenient, and if it holds half the charge the reviews say it will be very handy indeed
I find it funny that they demonstrate it's power by blowing water with it and the first thing the insert says is "do not blow water with this"
makes me want to do it just to see if I can duplicate the results of the photos (though I'm cynically going to say "probably not")
UPDATE:
So a day later, I work on my main computer, replacing out the power supply, Between yesterday (after full charge) and today I've used it maybe 45 minute solid... it's already running slower and blowing at half the speed.
Examined the computer from deep inside (as I was swapping out the power supply) and I see that it left a layer of dust on everything and did not really blow anything clean... under decent light it looks like it didn't do much with my keyboard either. Honestly I'm very disappointed in this product, it's extremely underwhelming.
It doesn't have a pin-point focus of air like canned air

I purchased this item in June of 2015. Now, a little more than a year later I wish I hadn't. At first it worked great but as time went by it got weaker and weaker. Now it won't hold a charge for more than a day and still won't charge completely. You can get more air flow from a cat sneeze that this compressed air system now. It came highly touted and I thought I was making a smart investment; I was wrong. I would not advise buying this compressed air system at all. In theory is sounds great but in the working world it's not as great as they make it out to be.
Mixed Feelings...

Because this seller seems also to be the manufacturer, I can't write a real review about the item without commenting on the seller to a degree. So, yes, the item arrived on time, and undamaged. It works. It's loud (but so what?). There was not a direction/user manual/or even a warning/safety sheet anywhere with the product. There WAS a Canadian article on the dangers/horrors of traditional canned air. Apparently this item comes in a variety of models. They all LOOK the same. Some come in a variety of colors. That's the only visual distinction. They vary in price considerably. Is there a real difference other than the cost? Only the manufacturer knows for sure. One is guaranteed against damage due to electrostatic discharge. One is a "commercial" model. One has a lifetime replacement guaranteed. I purchased the least expensive (blue) model. It supposedly has an air-speed that's 20 MPH less than the other models (this is based on the manufacturer's website - this item, as posted here, says it's 220 MPH, while their webpage says 200). I asked my dog if he cared whether his head was out the window at 200, or 220 MPH. He said he couldn't tell the difference - his lips were wrapped around his ears at either speed ;-)
Is the less expensive item different motor-wise? Is it intentionally made more carelessly? Will it REALLY last less long? Don't know!
One caveat: On the page with this item are the two additional things that typically "go together" (you know, the "Buy All Three for..."). The "vacuum" attachments don't fit this device. Not without modification, at least. If you need vacuum attachments, these inexpensive ones are fine. If you expect them to work easily with this device, forget it!
Wish it was made better, I like it but did not last long for the price.

This is a great idea and wished it work. I used it for about a month and before you know it, the thing just quit blowing the air pressure it is need to function. If they can come up with one that doesn't break in a couple of uses than I would get another one. Cost too much for the short life span of the item. When it work it was great, Used it to clean computer, Romba vacuum filters, inside of car dash etc. Like I said great idea just did work long enough for the price
Worked well till it broke itself

This worked quite well as a replacement for canned air. I'd say it was definitely better. The motor does heat up quite a bit if you run it for more than a few seconds, which may have been part of the issue that caused it to break.
Yesterday, when I tried to use it, the air flow was poor, and nothing that I tried improved it. After a few attempts at use, the motor burned out. Upon deconstructing it (no easy task) to determine the issue, I found a small piece of foam in the fan blades. It was one of the padding pieces that had been between the motor and the casing, like the one you can see in the picture inside the casing that's attached. In the other picture, you can see that the air intake is just an open tube above the motor. So when the piece of foam came unglued from the casing, it got kicked up to the top and sucked into the fan blades, jamming it and causing the motor to overload and burn out. A mesh filter or something over the ai intake would've prevented this issue.
It worked well, but it was a pretty disappointing to have a design flaw in such a basic machine cause it to break beyond repair after only ~8 weeks use. Especially for a $90 purchase.
Ok...but still needs more power.

I bought this one because other reviews said the lower MPH models where not as strong as canned air. I still see that with this model but if they would include a narrower nozzle it would probably accomplish stronger air flow with out more power. I have not found a compatible nozzle to test it with yet to confirm. Needs more power or better nozzle, standard, to be better buy. Works but not as powerfull as canned air, yet.
Stay Away From This Product and Seller!

The product seemed alright when I received it, it worked as described. About 60 days into regular use and the impeller exploded, spraying chucks of plastic and plastic dust into my delicate electronics! What a disaster! I specifically chose this product because I was skeptical that it would be worth it, but it came with 90 day "risk free" warranty. I tried reaching out to Amazon for a replacement and they said I had to go through the seller. I reached out to the seller and they ignored my request!
I highly recommend avoiding this product and seller at all costs!! You may end up like me, with a broken device and no help from the seller.
Works great for reloading and gun cleaning

I purchased this to replace most of my canned air needs. I use it primarily for my reloading needs and gun cleaning. It is a little on the noisy side but since I use it in max bursts of roughly 60 to 90 seconds it's not a real issue. It works as well for cleaning up after a reloading sessions and gun cleaning as the canned air I was using previously. I was using a little under 2 cans of air a month and in the almost 3 months I've been using it I have used less than 1 can of air.
I don't use it for cleaning computers or other items so I can speak to the long term usages issues others have listed.
Great duster but won't replace canned air for all jobs
by J. Valentine (4 out of 5 stars)

It won't really replace canned air, largely because the tube supplied is the gauge of a milkshake straw, rather than the 18-gauge (?) or so provided with canned air. But it is powerful and blows dust out of, and off of, all kinds of things. For electronics' internals you're probably still looking at using canned air. But for a household duster, especially in places where a feather or Swiffer duster doesn't do the trick, it's great. Blowing the dust from the brickwork around the hearth, or from behind the TV and AV rack, or cleaning your Roomba filter, works like a charm. I'm planning to buy the accessory kit for the brush and smaller-gauge attachments to see if that helps with the more resistant dust. Worth it for most household dusting, but won't replace caned air for tight jobs like PC cases or amplifier internals
