Let me stave off anxiousness and later dissappointment: Avoid unless you plan only to cut paper, str

Well made fit and finish, looks cool, spring loaded works, but net functionally it's rather useless. It will cut printer paper, but if you try cutting into heavier stock like bubble wrap shipping envelopes, forget it. Tried cutting into some plastic beef snacks that was melted shut, and this tool performed worse than some cheap preschool scissors, the bag just wedged itself between the blades. There is not enough leverage on the handles (notice how they are shorter than the blades) so it makes it hard to get the torque with a pinching motion on thin metal tang. Scissors on a swiss army knife will out perform these. I really wanted to like these, but back they go.

This small tool works well as a bottle opener, but the scissors are almost useless. Due to the short length and over powered spring inside they require an immense amount of effort to cut anything. Oft times they will twist in the fingers you are trying to use them in because the spring is just too strong, causing your cut to be off. Although I still carry these I would not purchase again.

Nifty but almost impossible to open/close

PRO: Heavier than I expected, well-machined, sharper than most scissors

CON: Very hard to open and close

The handles are held shut by the quick release pin. You are supposed to swivel the pin so that the ball is at the point of the egg shaped hole and then depress the ball and pull the pin out. I found it impossible to do that without using pliers. Then I found it impossible to put the pin back in without using pliers. I tried silicone spray, it didn't help.

I'm keeping it, but I have replaced the pin with a twist tie.

Hard to grip. And pin problems

Very sharp scissors, but there are two big problems. 1. The scissors are so thin, it's virtually impossible to get a hold of it and cut things. 2. The pin is fairly impossible to put it back. You need Hulk strength to put the pin back.

Doesn't cut.

Very difficult to hold while trying to cut anything. And if you manage to get a hold on them, they don't really cut things very well either. Really cool idea, but bad execution:(

Not worth the money

I was hoping for a nice little cutting tool for bandages. But it doesn't cut very well. I think it would work better without the teeth on the blade because there is no leverage available at the tip. Or maybe if the handles were a little longer. The scissors on my little classic swiss army knife works so much better than this.

Just not worth the money.

Don't waste your money

The simple pin that frees the blades does not come out easily nor go back in easily. And they don't cut too well either. Don't bother.

but won't cut anything big like thick rope or cardboard

Cuts paper and basic stuff, but won't cut anything big like thick rope or cardboard. However, this tool is really handy to have on you in cse someone needs to cut something small.
