Product Description
My ad campaign for this product would be Paleo Wraps: they definitely taste way better than paper. To say the coconut carb substitutes are delicious, or even good, is tough though. They're not bad. And they're not tasteless.... [Read more]Top Reviews
Will definately purchase again!by K. Pittman (5 out of 5 stars)

I hesitated to make this purchase based on poor reviews, but chose to try them out since sometimes I need a portable lunch vs my usual heating up the previous night's leftovers.
1. Yes, they're expensive. However, I don't use them daily, so it's not a big deal. It's still cheaper than eating out.
2. They're naturally preserved (it's just dried coconut), so if it takes me a month to go through them, it's not a big deal.
3. For those who complained that they taste like coconut.... seriously?!?! Did you not read that they are MADE from coconut?!?! It's not an overwhelming coconut-y flavor, but it's there. Choose your fillings accordingly (it was a weird combo when I used them as a tortilla for tacos, but surprisingly not bad with tuna fish, they're fabulous as a wrap for a cold sandwich or with any Thai/Indian filling). IT'S NOT A BIG DEAL. Use your brain.
4. They're quite thin, but very pliable and sturdy. I thought for sure they'd split open the first couple times because I wrapped the contents quite tightly, but they held up.
5. Texture - a little papery, but.... that's right.... it's not a big deal! If you want the taste/texture of traditional wheat wraps, this isn't the choice for you. I chose them because I made the choice to go Paleo. I promise, nobody held a gun to my head and said I must eat these and not the traditional wraps. People, this is a CHOICE. You're not going to find something that tastes/feels/smells exactly like your beloved wheat wraps - get over it or go back to your old ways of eating, just don't write a negative review of this product because you miss wheat. Guess what? I miss brownies, but am I writing a negative review on Larabars because they don't taste like brownies???
6. My package came completely intact w/o any crumbling of wraps (a few people previously complained of such)
7. Would I buy them again? Absolutely!
I am so glad I did

I saw these on the Dr. Oz show and decided to try them. I am so glad I did! These are very good. I'm on a low carb diet and have really missed my breakfast burritos, tacos, and sandwiches. I've tried various versions of low carb "bread" which was okay but a bit too eggy for my taste. But after making a sandwich wrap with the Coconut Wraps, I won't be making those eggy bread substitutes again. These have a very light nutty, slightly coconut flavor that melded well with my meat, cheese, and lettuce. I'll certainly be ordering these again!
Paleo Wraps- not nice!

I thought these were something I had purchased before. I like the coconut wraps. Being Celiac, I cannot have anything with gluten. When I opened these, I was put off by the brown color, the thickness, and the moist, rubbery-like texture. But the taste was the important thing. I took one bite and threw away the whole package. I have a second unopened package that I will also toss. Very disappointing. I cannot describe the taste other than "weird and not nice". I will never buy these again and will never recommend them to anyone. They also have to be refrigerated after opening. The coconut wraps are not to be refrigerated.

If I could select 0 stars I would. I received a very moldy pack of wraps that I apparently can't return as I've tried to initiate a return and it tells my that my item is not ellible. Fabulous..... clearly I won't be ordering these again.
Bring back the old recipe!

So... these used to be pretty much straight coconut wraps, and they were delicious. I think the coconut market must have got hot and this company was forced to raise prices to an astronomical rate ($29.99 per package) to the point demand was completely destroyed and they were forced to recreate their recipe with other items. I have two packages of the new product which I had assumed was the old recipe and prices had just come back to normal, the new recipe is pretty rough. The flavor is OK, but the consistently is very rubbery and definitely the consistency alone completely destroys the product. Bring back the old recipe at reasonable prices!!

Pretty bomb. I'm a Southern California guy, so I know tacos. Wrap up some carne asada, guac and use these bad boys. Boom paleo asada. They taste like coconut but well that's what they are made of. Over all, great!
Sturdy Paleo Wrap/Tortilla!

I've been Paleo for 6 years and appreciate any Paleo wrap/tortilla that comes on the market. These are a huge improvement form the original Paleo Coconut Wraps, as far as using it for hot foods and holding together. I can see how the flavor of the wraps can take some getting used to. There is a slight bitter/intense taste from the seeds, but it doesn't bother me one bit...and its really not that bad. I also use the Siete Grain-Free tortillas a lot. They have a milder flavor but they don't hold together as well; and when you make delicious tacos and the tort just falls apart, its not fun.
When I travel, I take a pack of the Julian's Wraps with me and use them at restaurants. They do not HAVE to be heated and that makes them great for travel, unlike the Siete Wraps which have to be heated.
I do wish someone would make a thick and sturdy Paleo wrap that is nut/seed free (perhaps with only coconut flour and/or cassava), that avoids pork lard as well. The market is close, but not there yet...at least from what I have found.
A+-mazing!!

A+-Mazing!! These wraps are the answer to a prayer in my house. We have been a completely Gluten-Free and Low-Glycemic household for the past 5 months. It has been an amazing and blessed change for all of us (reversed my Type II Diabetes in TWO MONTHS!!), but we have really missed our wraps. I simply Googled "Gluten Free Low Glycemic Wraps" and came across this little gem!
They are very tasty. They have a slight coconut taste to them, but I like coconut, so win-win. However, when you fill them and eat them, the taste of the wrap just blends in with what you have stuffed it with. I have made "dry" wraps and "wet" wraps, and these babies held together and rolled beautifully every time! This morning, my breakfast wrap was a vegetable medley...heavily sauteed in olive oil, a slice of ham and grated cheese. I rolled the wrap up, place in a sandwich bag, and went to work. When it came time to eat breakfast two hours later, I simply ate the wrap, using the plastic bag as a holder. Mind you, the wrap was still completely intact. It stayed rolled and did not break. It was saturated with the olive oil, as I knew it would be, hence the sandwich bag!
I originally ordered just one package to see if we would like them. Well, we love them! I just ordered more packages a minute ago. My husband and sons are taking them on their annual backpacking trip. They are perfectly packaged, light weight and ready to go.
Give these a try. I think most folks will really like them. They are understandably a little pricey, but keeping my guts healthy and functional and keeping diabetes away is well worth it! Thanks, Julian Bakery, for making this great wrap!
A Taste you won't forget!

This was odd tasting at best, and absolutely not what I thought it would taste like in any way. Its smell was hard to handle and every time I tried to take a bite it hit me. Then, when I actually did take a bite the taste was worse than the smell. It was just so odd and it ruined the meal I made. I wanted to like it, I wanted something I could eat on Paleo that was not too sweet or too tasteless. This had nether one of those problems but I instantly wished I had the other two back.

I had purchased a package previously a few weeks previously and the family decided to do a Mexican themed meal so I ordered another package which arrived the day before the dinner. Unfortunately both smelled awful when I opened it and the packet left inside to keep it "fresh" had stained the package. I would NOT recommend this. Worse. I could not get a refund.
