I like the idea behind this and it works pretty well but when used with strong smelling foods, like onion, it's really hard to get the smell off of it after use....

A nice alternative to saran wrap

Its been a little over 6 mons now in using the abeego storage flats.

In that time, I would have used at least one box of saran wrap.

I find them easy to use and easy to clean.

I cook fairly often and like to use them to cover up my bowls to store any leftovers.

I dont like to use plastic containers or plastic tupperware unless I absolutely have to and use the abeegos to cover over glass or ceramic.

My only complaint is that with often and long time use, I do feel the wax part may be coming off of the product and lessening the tight grip the abeegos initially had when I first started using them. I am not sure how long they are meant to last if one uses them often.

Even w my minor complaint, I am very happy with this product and support initiatives to promote sustainability, recycling and reducing chemical body burden.

I will prob order another set within the next 6 months or whenever this set has worn out its use.

Those are perfect! I was so happy to finally say goodbye to plastic wrap.

The 3 sizes allow me to wrap pretty much everything: half onions/avocados, slices of home made sourdough bread for my breakfasts at the office, entire cheeses with the 13" one...

The wax does not melt as easily as other brands do, and after a few months they still work and look quite clean. I purchased another brand just for price consideration, and the wraps are already a total mess.

I believe it would be a great gift for any friend who wants to have a more eco conscious life. Mother Nature will be thankful when everyone adopts beeswax wrap.

Very good item. Important to remember to hold hands over wrap and edge of bowl etc to achieve tight fit, also just barely above cold water to wash or it will be no good. You can retreat with beeswax in micro, but be careful and you will love using this, feels so much better not putting plastic or wrap in landfill to be there for like FOREVER. Read instructions and you will find this rewarding to use.

I have been using Abeego beeswas wraps for almost a year now and i am absolutely in love with them. They are easy to clean, smell like a wax candle and do wonders for your produce. For example, when i wrap my avocados in them they stay fine for much longer time (i suspect because wax allows for a better and more durable seal). I really am so happy i found them. The only thing is to remember to replace them in a year.

PS in terms of cleaning even when you wrap smelly things in them (e.g. onions), a wash with soap and warm water take care of any issues.

i like these, just wish i could find more uses for them: i find that i don't like to clean them, so tend to only use them for dry-type things i am covering. One nice feature is that they are color coded by size. They do not replace all of my plastic wrap covering, but they do a good job when I can find purpose for them

I absolutely like the idea but I'm not totally happy. While it's really easy to clean and a great substitute for aluminum foil and plastic wrap it also don't last long as after being washing every day the wax starts to crack and it becomes kind of messy. After a while it needs to be replaced. Not sure if I'll re-buy it.

They work surprisingly well. Like regular cling wrap, these sheets stick best to themselves, so you need to fully wrap an item with enough fabric overlapping so that it stays tightly closed, but assuming you do that, these sheets work really well. I might not recommend using them for strongly flavored foods like onions, though, as it seems to be hard to get that odor out. But for everything else, I think they work well.

I'm glad I bought these and like using them but the more I shopped around I found same products with much lower price. So I would buy these again but from vendors selling them at a lower cost. You only get three after all.

I got these and also ordered Bee's Wrap directly from the company. This brand is more stiff and doesn't conform as well.
