I've still only had limited use on it, but so far the recipes are great! I love that you can go into the recipes and "create" tweaked versions of the recipes that are already offered without messing up the original recipe. You can also put in your own drink recipes if it's not already in the menu. I do hope to see more drinks added with an update, but there is plenty at the moment for most people!!

My favorite part of the whole thing is the ability to input what you already have (liquors, mixers, fruit, etc) and it will show you what you can make with what's available or how close you are to making something with what you have.

Adding drinks and adjusting drinks can be a little weird, but hopefully once I play with that side of it more it will make more since to me.

I would highly recommend this to anyone, as a bartender for many years, this makes great drinks without having to remember everything that goes in high end, multi alcohol drinks, or having to use measuring cups or pour counts to make drinks that have the right amount of kick, but still taste good! Plus as a bonus it comes with a stainless steel shaker to help chill and mix your drinks!!

I heard about the Perfect Drink app and scale through a friend of mine. I immediately downloaded the app and started using it to find new drinks I could make from my liquor cabinet. Then, I bought the scale. It's a game-changer. I can't recommend this enough. I started using it, but ran into an issue. After failing to solve the issue on my own, I contacted their customer service department. They were responsive and gracious. My only regret is that I didn't start out with the Bluetooth-enabled scale.

I'm already buying more for my dad, brother-in-law, and buddies. This is a perfect gift for the guy who seems to have everything.

Bought as a holiday gift for a recently married couple who entertain a lot. They loved it and said that it was a big hit with their friends too. They were able to insert a list of ingredients that they already had and the app provided suggestions of cocktails they could make with the ingredients on hand. It's like inviting a bartender to every party!

This is pretty neat to say the least! Everyone we used it with was amazed and loved how it worked. I was unaware that it came with a cocktail mixer - I totally missed that! I would've given it 5 stars, but I wish the app had more drinks. There's a ton on there but missing a few that we usually like to have when going out, etc. Other than that it's great!

I bought this for my wife for Christmas since she and her friends typically like fruity "foo-foo" drinks of straight liquor or beer and I thought it would be something fun to enjoy on New Years Eve.

Setup was easy and the only snag we ran into was finding the app on the Google Play store. For whatever reason searching for and finding the app was harder than expected, but we eventually found it (might have been an error on our part). The concept is really simple, it's just a scale that zeros out whatever glass you place on it and then measures the weight of the alcohol as you pour it in. If you over-pour one of the ingredients it automatically recalculates the amount you need to add for the other ingredients to create the "perfect drink".

Once you have the app installed you can select from hundreds if not thousands of different drinks, which is almost overwhelming, so we decided to try the "cabinet" feature. Basically, you tell the app what you have on hand and it will tell you what drinks you can make. We had rum, whiskey, vodka, tequila, champagne and a few other types of liquor on hand, but the number of drinks we could make was only about 5. A lot of drinks required additional items that didn't have on hand such as lemon juice and other complimentary items. The app does do a good job of telling you which drinks you can "almost" make, in other words, you have most of the items to make it, but might be missing 1 ingredient.

This isn't a really a knock on the device itself, but it would have been great to have a shopping list of suggested items to purchase in advance to make the most popular items of give the user at least a variety of drinks to try.

We will be trying this out again in a few weeks and hope to have a better supply of ingredients on hand. I will be sure to update my review when we do.

Received all items in box except for the stainless steel shaker. Our first unit we bought had the shaker. With this being our 2nd purchase and box stating the shaker to be included, the white rectangular box that stores the shaker only had the tablet stand inside. All in all it is a great product. Missing the shaker determined the 4 star review.

Freaking awesome! Best part is that I entered what is in my cabinet, and the app tells me what I can make or what I'm lacking. If I'm lacking something I just click on the add to shopping list button and me and my wife can both see it in our phones because we both log in the same account. I really wish I would have thought of this. Great addition to the bar!

super cool, accurate enough to make consistent drinks time after time.. short of hiring a personal bartender... you need this.
