Good coffee cubes for camping, fishing, type of activities. All you need is to boil some water up and you've got coffee, so it is very convenient. That being said, it's not gonna be as good as freshly ground beans/good fresh coffee. That's what I drink daily, but these come along with me fishing and camping and they do the job just fine. The sweetness is a tad too much for my liking.

I had been looking for a good flavored instant coffee for a long time that I can actually drink on camping trips. I cannot get the Starbucks ones because they inundate all the flavored instant coffee with milk creamer (And I cannot stand milk, it makes me ill.). I was pleasantly surprised with how easy to use and flavorful these little cubes were. They are smaller than you think! I opened two for a "Test" run before packing them away with our camping gear. I don't use a large coffee mug so one tablet was acually enough. The taste was smooth and creamy even before I put my own soy creamer in it. Another thing I am very please about is that they use NON-GMO ingredients. I would have bought these just for that even if they didn't taste all that great (Which, thankfully, is NOT the case!). I guess depending on how "Stong" you take your coffee more than one might be better.

I will definitely be getting more of these just to keep around the house because they disolve quickly and completely, they are fast and easy to use, they are flavorful and about as "All natural" as can be.

I do have a few small suggestions to the creator that I hope they will stongly consider in the future...
1.) A variation of the flavored coffees with less or half the amount of sugar per serving. I have to be careful with how much sugar I consume but I know that the "sugar" in the flavored ones help bring out the "Flavors" in those coffees.
2.) Please consider making a "Sugar free" version of the "Plain" coffee tablets so I can buy those! I don't mind a little sweetness in the flavored coffee's but in plain coffee, that is all I want...plain coffee. That way, I can choose for myself what to add to it.
3.) Please consider making a "Decaf" version of all the coffees. That way...my spouse can drink them too since they have HB and can only drink Decaf. I would hate for them to miss out on these because of the caffine. Thank YOU!

Expected better for the price **UPDATE

So although my experience with the 2in1 hasn't changed I was sent a box of the black coffee with a nice note from (Sorry blanking on the name) from Jiva. Completely different experience. I'm going to do a review on that one on here, and my honest opinion is, if you want to try these, go with the black coffee and just add a sugar packet.

So got these in the mail last night and was looking forward to trying them today, which I now have. My reason is I'm trying to find something slightly more compact to carry then G7 3in1 and less mess.

First impressions:
1) I kept hearing in reviews that these were supposed to dissolve in approximately 30 seconds then you stir and drink, it took about 5 minutes in extremely hot water before it had soften enough that there wasn't chunks after stirring. Not a big deal, but this makes me wonder if it's because of the age of the cubes that's causes it to take longer, or if it simply just how the cubes are.
2) I used 2 cubes and it's still a rather bland weak taste. Honestly it's kind of on par with a lot of restaurant coffee. It's coffee, but it isn't anything to write home about.
3) For the price, I expected this to be much better than it is.
4) These are a lot more compact and would take up far less pack space, and in fairness for me I use at least 2 g7's in the same size cup. However G7 is 20 bucks for 100 packets, this was 10bucks for 12 packets.

Bottom line is that I would drink this out on a backpacking trip if that's what i had available but over all the flavor is tolerable at best. I wouldn't seek these out again. G7 3in1 for me tastes much better, is less expensive, and far more enjoyable to drink all around.
**I just took another sip of a second cup of this just to be certain, and I really can not recommend this at all. There's an underlining taste, not really an after taste, not quite chemical like folgers, but not pleasant. I won't be re-purchasing.

This sampler was a perfect way to try the other flavors (I'd only had classic before). These little guys pack a pretty strong punch! My favorite is the hazelnut and least favorite is caramel, but they're overall pretty great! Neither overly sweet nor bitter, you can really taste the coffee itself. I like mine extra strong so I like to use 2 cubes in a slightly oversized mug.

Got this for backpacking and rushed mornings. It tastes great, takes up no space, and is quickly made with no mess or clean up required. I usually drink my coffee black and I did not think it was too sweet. It was just the right mix for a good cup of coffee (with the lesser amount of water recommended) with a little sweetness. Just make sure you stir it well, as the directions clearly state, otherwise it settles at the bottom and is very strong.

I bought these for backpacking since Starbucks Via tastes burnt to me and other similar options were too weak. This was a fun, different option, but ultimately I didn't like the flavor enough to use it again. I prefer black coffee with nothing in it, and these cubes have sugar in them. Reminded me of a weak turkish coffee. Flavor was fine - a bit on the weak side so you could use two cubes per mug, but then you're getting like 10g of sugar in one mug. The cubes take a lot longer to dissolve than advertised. I think the directions say 45 seconds? With boiling water straight into a mug, it takes at least 5 minutes with stirring and poking at the cube. That's not a big deal to me...I start drinking the coffee after a few minutes and the taste doesn't seem to change much - the bulk of the cube is dissolved within a few minutes.

Great instant coffee

These were really good on my camping trip! My camping buddy liked them too. The coffee is tasty, and the flavors aren't overwhelming or artificial tasting. I added a smidge of stevia for extra sweetness. I used one of these and 1 tsp of espresso powder to make a big cup of coffee. I did NOT like the black ones though, even with added sweetness.

For reference, I don't like Starbucks coffee (including Via) and at home I normally drink medium-dark roast drip coffee, like Seattle's Best (the second to darkest roast), Peet's Coffee Major Dickasons Blend,or Folger's Gourmet Supreme. I often mix Dunkin' Donuts flavored coffees with the dark roast ones.

I honestly love this coffee. It's better than anything I've ever had. It's easy, compact, great for hikes, camping, work, or just hanging out on the couch. The light sweet taste comes through soft but pleasing. No hard bite afterwards. Great in the mornings overlooking the lake. If you like coffee and are the outdoors type, I highly suggest you try Jiva. You will not be disappointed.
On a personal note, the company is all about satisfaction. I just got my order in yesterday and inside the box was a hand written note saying "We hope you enjoy your Vanilla cofee". I get a hand written note every time I order. I love this company. Can't say enough good things about them.

I found Jiva through a hiking or outdoor magazine. Sweet coffee normally isn't my thing but these are pretty good. I mostly have them as backup for when I run out of ground coffee and I also keep a few in my go bag. I will be trying other flavors.

I thought these were quite good. I was able to throw 3 into a bigger pot and make it for a bunch of people I was camping with. People loved havin coffee with us plus it's light and easy to transport.
