I really like this lantern, it is very rugged and sturdy. Seems to keep a charge for a fairly long time. It is great out on the deck or the boat, don't have to worry about it getting wet or knocked over.

I bought this light after seeing it on tv. Saw tv host throw light in the air from a boat on a trailer in a parking lot. Light stayed lit the whole time, even when bouncing on asphalt. Had to have one after that. Very bright light with 3 settings. A little bottom heavy due to battery. Best camp light I have ever had, sorry Coleman

Seems like a very nice quality Lantern. Have not had a chance to camp with it yet but seems like it should work well. Not having a place to store the charger cable is not good, could be easily lost out camping, not to mention all the cables you need in todays world.

My husband loved this lantern so much that he purchased an extra one for himself and 3 more for Christmas gifts. Everyone loved them. It is sturdy but lightweight....will come in great for emergencies when the electricity goes off!

Zippo Rugged Lantern I had purchased this lantern after seeing it on a side ad for a blog about other rugged lanterns. I was specifically looking for a rechargeable lantern that could take a beating for a upcoming fishing trip at a river outside of the valley that is quite rocky and steep. The lantern works exactly as described. The high setting at like 200 lumens lasts for 10 hours, the second constant on setting works at 50% lighting power or 100 lumens and lasts about 15 hours, and the last constant on setting works at 10% lighting power or 20 lumens for 40 hours! It takes a bit to recharge fully for that much battery capacity; I had left it recharging for like 5 hours when I got it and it was fully charged when I came back. While I had wanted something that could be charged by portable solar panel via USB or something or handcrank for possibly a survival tool, this should suffice for almost all my needs. All in all, definitely a quality product that I would recommend.
