Quality built tool worked well for meby Scott B. (5 out of 5 stars)

I just got a chance to use the LadderLimb I recently bought. I used it on a standard (Werner in this case) aluminum extension ladder and it worked well. It really is very simple. You stick it in one of the holes in the side of the ladder, and press it in firmly. The rubber coating on the outside of the tapered rod is slightly soft and grippy, so when you push it in, it digs in and holds well. I also like that this 'hook' is reversable (in other words you can place it on either the left or right side of the ladder). I'll be spending a lot more time with it over the next few weeks so will update the review if I have any further input or concerns, and whether I like the 'carabiner' style clip vs a more traditional hook.
Update: I've used it a bunch more and it has worked very well for me, as is. I actually think I like the carabiner because I've had to move and change ladders frequently, which means a lot of moving this thing around. I like that when I pull it out of the ladder rungs, I know the bucket is clipped on and can't fall off. I actually carry it up and down the ladder by the grippy rubber part and let the bucket hang. It feels very solid this way, and I've never even come close to dropping/spilling anything. It is also more convenient to use than those hooks that clip to the ladder rungs. This product holds your bucket out and away from where you are walking/standing, and there is no chance that you are going to bump into or step/lean on the bracket clipped to the side of the ladder.

Did a 7 day paint job on one side of my home. Had no worries 25' up on the ladder with a bucket hooked to this guy with whatever I needed. Mostly with a bucket with tools or paint assistance. Wish I'd ordered two because the plastic paint can holder had me really concerned it would snap under a full gallon. Anyway this tool exceeded my expectations. Didn't worry at all. It went far into my ladder and was completely secure.

I am a professional painter and we do exteriors all summer. This is one of the best products to improve workflow I've used in years. Fits in snug and easy to remove. Get more work out of your employees and keep them safer too. Painting is easier when you're 20ft up and have a completely free hand to hold the ladder.
We use these with 2gal white buckets with a small roller, grid, and brush. Take it down with you before moving the ladder!

Unfortunately, or fortunately on depending how you look at it, I now use a Little Giant ladder. The rung holes are too small to accept this device. I'm not going to return it because I can give it to one of my kids that have ladders it will work with. On examining it, it is a well made accessory and I have tried it on a regular ladder and it functions as advertised.

I am not really comfortable on tall extension ladders so the ladder limb allows me to keep both hands on my ladder and a great place to hang a bucket or a airless spray hose when not in use, Works great when hanging several strands of outside Xmas lights

Not vital but a good idea that sometimes is very handy to have. Snap ring could be just a little larger to make it easier to clip onto, but in the few times I've used it so far it has been secure.

Good product for all trades on ladders. Personally I prefer an open hook not a clip.
