The Z.A.P.S. Gear Survival Grenade is the ultimate compact wilderness survival kit. It can be carried on your person or attached to your gear so you can carry it anywhere you go. Gear Survival Grenade includes: 1 - steel shackle, 1 - Load bearing (350 Lb max) Spring clip, 1 - Compass, 1 - Wire saw, 3 - Ready-made wire snares, 1 - Ferro cerium fire-starter with striker, 3 - Pieces of tinder, 30' fishing line (50 Lb), 3 - Fish hooks, 6 - Sinkers, 2 - Barrel swivels, 1 - Knife blade, 1 - Sheet aluminum foil, 1 - 1 Gallon Ziploc bag for carrying water, 3 - Stormproof matches and match striker, 1 - Large needle for small repairs/suturing, 20' Black thread, 6 - Water purification tablets with instructions, 1 - Whistle, 45' 550 Paracord, duct tape, and 1 - laminated Z.A.P.S. Gear Survival Grenade User's Guide. The side opposite of the compass is designed to fit on a belt. MOLLE compatible. The Z.A.P.S. Gear Survival Grenade was designed to be easily unraveled when needed but to be secure in its structural integrity until then. A rip cord, made of a length of high-contrast colored paracord for ease of seeing even in low light conditions, is included. When the survival kit is needed, just pull on the rip cord, and the secured end of the outer paracord wrap will come free, revealing your unravel start point. This will speed unraveling even if the user is cold and has lost fine motor skills. The Z.A.P.S Gear Survival Grenade User's Guide describes how to use each of the contents in a survival situation and lists additional survival tips for anyone who may not have had survival training. The Z.A.P.S Gear Survival Grenade is the perfect survival kit for anyone who may find themselves in the wild outdoors away from the conveniences of the city. Arrives in branded packaging.

My husband was stoked to get this for his bday. I realized however that you can't really "enjoy" it per se until you crack it open and use it. But the thought was there and he's excited to have it in the car. :)

This, a good fixed blade knife, a small folding knife, first aid kit and shelter. Good to Go for a day or two. More if you have had adequate training. Really like the fluorescent piece of paracord, made it easy in the dark.

Great plan B pack, has a little bit of everything you might need. As the creator of the product has said in response to another review this definitely should not be your primary pack. However, being able to keep the bare necessities in such a compact and easy to carry item like this is always a great backup.

This is a great little survival pack. I bought two of these for family members and they loved them! They contain many survival tools and are small enough that you can attach to you pack.

you cant have enough cordage when your out camping
