What they show in the pictures is the original one RadioShack sold in a physical store which I happen to own. Wanted to buy another one to be able to switch tapes when one got low on power and not skip a beat! Well the one I got in the mail looks and sounds like a cheap knock off. It works but has a buzzing sound when the volume is low and the tape itself makes a mechanical sound when in use that's hard to ignore. Hope this helps!

It would've gotten the full 5 stars, but the range on the bluetooth is pretty short. Also, kinda choppy. I have to find a spot and make sure my phone doesn't move from it. Other than that, though, cool! Now I won't have to change out my old tape deck!

Mine works well and the battery life is good. I think it's probably around the advertised 8 hours, which is probably more than I drive my car in a month currently, so I very rarely have to charge it. However, I don't see why it needs to even use a battery and not be charged by the car. It is a hassle to remove it once the battery dies (you don't get more than a couple minutes' warning before it runs out of charge) and remember to take it inside to charge with my computer. As others have mentioned, you can't have the USB charge cable plugged in to it while it's in the tape player and have the car power it; it won't fit in that way. They should've designed it with an integrated cable or extended USB plug to connect a cable so that it could fit in the tape player and charge. I also think it should turn on and off with the tape deck play/stop; it's annoying to have to hold down the power button on it for a few seconds whenever I'm done driving (although I am usually able to do this without ejecting it).

very nice to have!! only thing is that it buzzes sometimes and if you have your music very loud its kind of overpowering. but it doesnt happen all the time

What a shocker! I've tried almost bluetooth music streaming device within the last 20 years! Something that should have been out and with Radio Shack's name, quality, and product support is great, only suggestions would be have call ability, charge while playing, (come on Radio Shack you can do it) other than that great sound,long playtime, easy setup and bluetooth 4 is icing on the cake. With lower power consumption and better sound/streaming quality! Great product
