Practical Whimsy

I bought this for my wife's birthday and she absolutely loved it! She loves whimsy and this really struck a chord with her. I put a soft boiled egg in it and she was grinning the entire time she was eating it.

As far as being "practical"; well, what can I say, but it beats chasing a soft boiled egg around a slick dinner plate...

Bought two of these as gifts for my husband and mother-in-law because they love soft-boiled eggs. They both have only ever had regular egg cups and loved this. The spoon works fine for the most part put seems not to go through as easily as a metal spoon. The hat and feet come apart easily and it's all easy to clean. No idea if it's okay in the dishwasher because we always handwash things.

Cute but major design flaw

Cute but not very functional for a kid. The helmet part you have to take off to eat the egg and kids make a mess when trying to put it back on. The sword spoon helps. My fault for not reading in detail but common sense had me thinking you could slide it back while it was still attached. At least that makes more sense to me since it was for my 4 year old
