While Champagne is as much a color as it is a drink, the Ivation LED Waterproof Light-Up Champagne Flute Cups adds a delightful touch of color to any sparkling beverage. On its own, the Ivation LED Waterproof Light-Up Champagne Flute Cups doesn't look much different than your everyday champagne flute. But pour in some of your favorite sparkling wine, and the embedded colored LED in the stem lights up instantly!

How does it work?

Two tiny stainless steel pins at the bottom of the glass are activated by the liquid and turn on the bulb within the stem. The bulb does not come in contact with your champagne, making this a safe novelty in all celebratory settings. The entire flute is also waterproof for added safety.

What about Battery Life?

As the Sip-n-Sparkle is activated by liquid, there is virtually no need for batteries - ever. That's right: As long as the wine is flowing, you can enjoy repeated use of the flute's lightup feature without worrying about tinkering with its inner components. The LED will stay lit for as long as there is liquid in the flute. So when asked during your next toast why your glass is all aglow, drink up, watch the light go out, and "Blame it on the Alcohol."

These cups are incredibly cheap and will crack very easily. We purchased them to make couples gift baskets and two had cracked on the journey to my parents on xmas day. The light thing does work and the effect is very cool, but a solo cup is more durable than these things.

They are very nice and bright and we're a big hit. No one knew that they lit up. Once the wine was poured it was amazing to see the flute light up and once it was empty the light was gone. Great buy and fast arrival!

The batteries all die in a few days! ! So I couldn'` t enjoy this beatiful gift more than three times. I appreciate if someone tel me how to change the batteries
