Only complaint is that it doesn't automatically sync up with an already-established device when you turn it on. When you press the power button you then have to go to your phone and connect there as well. Kind of inconvenient since I don't remember to turn it on until I'm already in the shower. We have another Bluetooth speaker that once you hit the power button, not only does it go ahead and connect to the nearest device but it also start playing the music you last left off (whether that was Pandora or your purchased music). this product worked well while it lasted (2 months). unfortunately it did me no good after. I tried to return it but it was too late. my sister however bought the same one and hers is still going strong. maybe I got a defective one. who knows.

Oh sweet jesus i love this shower head. After coming from a run of the mill 15 dollar shower head from walmart this is a whole other world. The pressure from individual spigots? eyelets? i don't know, the nozzles i guess, the pressure is great. It does seem to have an increased flow over most smaller shower heads but that's not surprising. I have an old inefficient 40 gallon water heater and it takes about 15 minutes before all that comes out of my shower head is barely luke warm water. You definitely need this shower head elevated somewhat. I got an extension arm that raises my shower head to about 8 to 10 inches above my head and it feels great.

As for the speaker, wow, absolutely love it. I left it to charge overnight after receiving it, and the next morning turned it on and linked it with my phone via bluetooth no problems whatsoever. The speaker is quite loud and has a substantial punch given it's size. I imagine if you were listening to "Whispering whispers" on NPR you probably would have trouble hearing it, but if you want to rock out in the shower this speaker is great. I got this showerhead 2 months ago and charged it once, and it STILL has not run out of it's first charge! Thats with a 5 to 10 minute shower every day!

I only have 1 gripe against the speaker/showerhead combo, and that is when the shower head is hanging near perfectly vertical (as in facing straight down) the speaker can rattle itself out and fall with even somewhat bass heavy music. This may not be an issue for some people, as i like to listen to dubstep and there's plenty of bass to get the job done there) but something to be aware of. I solved this by wrapping 2 or 3 bands of teflon tape around the speaker near the top where it mounts into the shower head, now it's snug and secure no problem. Side note: it did drop more than 6 feet to the bottom of my shower 3 times before i figured out why (i'm groggy in the morning, sue me.) and it shrugged off those drops without blinking, build quality is pretty great.

This product proves you get what you pay for. When I saw other adapters were $40 I definitely didn't want to pay that, so I figured I'd give this one a try. There is a noticeable reduction in sound quality and a constant white noise fuzz sound. The auxiliary cord side of it sometimes has to be laying in the perfect position or you'll only get half of the sound and an even louder fuzz noise. I wish I would have just invested in one of the nicer ones to begin with.

This showerhead pairs easily with both my galaxy note 3 and a cheap digiland tablet. I use it primarily to stream pandora from the digiland tablet installed in my bathroom. The volume is quite loud and only need to set the volume 3 steps below max for very adequate volume with the shower running. The problem I have is short battery life. When fully charged and left in standby including playing music for a total of 45 minutes, the battery dies in 5 days. The instructions state 11.5 hours of playing time and 15 days of standby. I have had this device for one month with recharges every 5 days. Otherwise the shower head provides good coverage with a strong spray( obviously pressure dependent) on my well system running 40 to 60 psi. The instructions are amusing, either poorly translated or written by someone with only the slightest familiarity with English as follows; "...so you can talk directly in your shower room with showerhead, you can just throw your phone everywhere in your house, out of bathroom, of course, after your talking finished, the shower head will play the music again in automatically accordingly".

Rocking in the rain

This was purchased as a gift for my 17 year old daughter, who can't imagine taking a shower without music playing.

PROS:
1) Excellent value for the price.
2) The speaker definitely provides full, rich sound at volumes that work very well over the noise of the shower.
3) Speaker is easily removed from the shower head, & my daughter prefers it to her other Bluetooth speakers so she uses it everywhere.
4) In her only test of battery life it was still pumping up the volume after 8 straight hours when she gave up at bedtime.

CONS:

None really, just a few minor caveats listed below.

Notes:

Please understand that a rain shower head is designed to provide vertical water flow, (straight down) so if you attach it to a standard, angled shower mount it will seem odd: Due to the angle the shower head will begin spraying from the lower third of the jets, & only as the head fills with water will the rest of the jets will come into action. This means that the volume of water will be higher in the lower half of the head than the upper, & also means that when you turn off the water it will take a few moments for the water in the head to drain from the bottom jets.

It has no female-to-male adapter to attach it to a standard handheld shower extension, & although I picked one up at the hardware store for under $2.00, any rain shower head will work best when you use an adjustable shower arm.

Overall this product does exactly what it clams, & for an excellent price. If you want music while showering, & especially if you want to take that music anywhere, I highly recommend it.

Fabulous shower head, bonus fabulous bluetooth speaker

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this shower head! The blue tooth speaker is a bonus but the shower head is really the star. It is like getting a nice warm shower in a focused rain downpour. And to hear your favorite music while in that warm downpour ... heaven! I cannot remember how I stumbled across this gem, but it has rapidly moved from the want category to the need category for me. I mean, why get a rain shower shower head when you can get one that will allow you to listen to your favorite music or take a call or catch the news!

Installation is a breeze! I did it! I am a woman who does not do this sort of thing but I was desperate to try it when my husband was not home. So easy. Pairing your device is a breeze and battery power is good, so you can listen for a number of showers (obviously depending on how long you shower) before recharging.

Jam out in the shower - But watch your water pressure/flow rate (READ)

Great way to listen to music when in the shower. Much better than your phone on the counter. Good battery life. Only recharged once since I installed it because I left the it on all day once.

CAUTION: Mine did not come with any sort of flow restrictor. This meant the first few times I took a shower I blew through all of my hot water before I was done. I added a restrictor to limit the flow to 2.5gal/min. Now using a standard elbow shower arm, the water pressure is not high enough to come out of the top few holes.

This could be solved (and I plan to soon) by replacing the arm so the head points strait down. or potentially by finding a restrictor with a higher flow rate

This was an awesome black friday deal for our family. We just bought a house so little things like these, are what makes your place the best place ever. We absolutely love it. It is super easy to set up, just push the button in the middle, a blue light will light up and it will connect to your device and you can play music or any audio file of your choice. It obviously is not a bose system, however, the sound is clear and without any rattles or other nasty side noises. The water pressure is even and strong, absolutely no complains here either. It lost one star for us, as you have to turn the music up really high to hear it under the running water hitting the shower. But that is the nature of its environment and not the shower heads fault. We still love it and it sure has us enjoying our shower routines.

Broken Part Washed Away My Enthusiasm

I really wanted to rate this higher, because it's very cool and the shower head puts out a nice flow of water as well as great music. But it broke.

A plastic (why always plastic!) ring that holds the shower head at the correct position, broke. Amazingly, there's four recessed tabs around the ring, which decrease the diameter of the plastic. Guess where it broke? One one of those recessed positions.

Now the head won't hold its angle and flops down. Only good for those about 4 feet tall or less.

I'm going to see if I can find a replacement or disassemble and super-glue the piece back together.
