I bought silver $ deck similar to these. As I said: These look great as a collectors item of you're a card collector, but don't think of playing with them. Hard to see (hurts eyesight, bright) and would be EASILY ruined if used a lot. Layers of cards would just peel off after playing, quality is a disaster, but design is great.

Our daughter loved these cards, only problem is that they are too nice to play with, ha ha! We got them for her for her 16th birthday party, she let everyone play one round of poker with them!

Looks very nice and for sure going to be on my living room table as a show piece from now on! Realized after shuffling them a bit and playing a couple games of solitaire, the gold started chipping off on the picture cards. Not really for play, mainly for show I suppose.

I bought it as a gift. He loved them! The mahogany box that it comes in was beautiful and not scratched like some of the other reviews stated period cards are good quality as well.
