I just received my star wars knife block x-wing and was very disappointed by it. In the product description it says this

Well it turns out the stand and the body of the the x-wing is plastic The only thing that is stainless Steel are the knives. I was expecting the base and body to be stainless steal and not plastic. Especially for the price it is selling at. It is really neat looking but again looks cheap due to the block being plastic. I am going to keep it but for the amount of money I am not happy of the quality

The knives are pretty dull, couple knives don't fit into holder as well as I'd like. Now that I've had them for a couple months I'll also add in that they are developing rust spots along the blades.

-Base and X-wing frame are plastic and much cheaper in quality and appearance when seen in person
-Knives, while metal, are very light- concern for quality and balance. Haven't used enough to see how they cut/dull

Would not recommend this to anyone. The screws they sent with the block have flanged heads and do not fit inside the ridges surrounding the screw holes. Unfortunately, I bought this as a gift and by the time this was discovered it was too late to return the item.

the holster is made of chrome covered plastic which I thought was cheap for the pricey-ness of this set
