It's a beast. Heavy duty material and works better than the lower generic ones, which my old roommate had back in the day. I don't like useless kitchen gadgets, since I'm a proficient cook. Yes, I worked in the food industry in the past and my kitchen is always geared to cook and entertain. Although, I don't like freezing my meat, but sometimes I bulk buy or have a lot of different types of meat giving to me. (if you hunt or deep sea fish you know what I mean)

This is definitely a good tool if you have frozen meat to thaw.

Love this product! Not sure how I lived without it for so long. I can pull chicken, steaks, roasts, etc out of the freezer and two hours later it's thawed and ready to cook for dinner. Perfect for when I forget to pull stuff out of the freezer in time. Highly recommend for busy people

Wow, does it ever thaw things more quickly than simply laying them on the counter.......half the time at least....as long as the frozen item can lay flat on the plate! Great addition to the kitchen!

I really don't understand how this works, but it does. Pork chops defrosted in less than 30 minutes, pastries in the same time. But, item to be defrosted must be flat and make contact with the tray.

First and foremost dont buy this product from ShopDecor, they suck and took forever getting this to me. Try to get this direct from amazon or another 3rd party. This is the best defrosting plate I have ever bought. I know of many that are not sturdy and are not dishwasher safe (I intend to hand clean this). This particular plate will taken a frozen Tri-Tip and defrost it in less than 40 minutes. I'am very glad I got this product it has saved me much time. Has a cool internal liquid technology thats puts it above the rest. Yes get this defrosting plate!
