Insulated Stainless Steel Beer Mug | |||||||||||

Product Description
The Man Mug is a stainless steel double walled beer mug, coffee mug or cocktail mug. It's made of kitchen grade 18/8 stainless steel. It's double walled, meaning there's a layer of air inside acting as a natural insulator. This means that the heat from your hand doesn't transfer to your cold beer, or the heat from the coffee in the mug doesn't burn your hand. it also means it won't condensate, so there's no need to use a drink coaster. It keeps your cold beer colder for longer and your hot coffee or cocoa nice and warm. It's dishwasher safe and can be placed in the freezer until you're ready for a nice cold beer. The large handle feels good in your hand and you look great holding it! It's perfect for birthday gifts, Father's Day gifts, groomsman gifts or just to say thanks.Top Reviews

These worked great for me and look wonderful in the rack. Love the nice clean look over jumbled various spice brands. Come with large or small hole caps, but I found myself using very few of those since most of my recipes need measured out amounts, not sprinkled. I also purchased the Swissmar Stainless Salt and Pepper funnel, which is a MUST HAVE when transferring over your spices. Jars are nice weight, caps are sturdy hard composite, not flimsy plastics. I used a standard Sharpie to add the labels. If you have an unsteady hand, you might want to enlist someone with good handwriting. I suppose you could find a way to print the labels, but I just kept it simple and wrote them as I went through switching over from grocery store branded containers. I wanted the labels on the sides but you could put them on the top of the cap if you prefer. A fun and great buy!
Excellent spice jars that are air/water tight and durable.

These spice jars are adequate for most people's needs. They come with sifters with small holes plus six extra sifters with larger holes are also included. There are some spices that I like to shake out of the bottles, so this is more than adequate for me. The lids are of a rubbery or soft plastic so there's little or no chance that they'll break. With the sifters in use, the lids don't seem to engage the jar threads very much, but I cranked down very hard on one to see if it would snap loose or become damaged; it held tight with no problems. Each lid has an inner, removable seal of a soft material that makes an airtight seal if you're not using the sifters. 24 round white paper labels are included which is enough to label the caps and the bottles. You can use one label to identify the spice and the other to date them. I particularly like labeling the tops since I have nearly 100 different spices and store my jars in drawers where I cannot see the sides of the jars. The labels peel off a sheet where they are cut out. It is difficult to see where the cuts are. In other words, it is difficult to see where one label ends and another begins. This is easily resolved by drawing a pencil line around each label before writing on them.

Finally! A description 200% accurate. Exactly what I needed and wanted during my kitchen transitioning project. I wanted nicer more healthy, non plastic, cooking utensils, with a longer sustainability. These are quite strong and not flimsy at all! Size wise, they're not super large, on the working end but they don't need to be, really. I can see where they might stain from a red sauce but I've had that happen before with white rubber spatulas. Solution to that is washing with bleach or soft scrub.

I bought these because of the reviews. I am very happy with my purchase. When I first opened the box, the product smelt a little bit like plastic. After washing them, that smell went away. From my uses, I have not worried about them scratching my pans. They have been holding up well and they are easy to clean. The colors look pretty close to the picture. They are nice to brighten up a kitchen. If they are in spaghetti sauce for too long they do get stained. The clear tip is now a hint of red and no matter how many times I wash them, its not going away.
Dispenses 10X the amount of soap you need!

I have owned this type of automatic soap dispenser for many years, and also given them as gifts. I had originally ordered from a different vendor.
One of mine finally stopped working, so I re-ordered two from this vendor, so that I would have a backup, and the button on the top of this one is very different. It's an elongated button instead of a little round button.
On all of my previous ones you could adjust the output of the liquid soap, based on your preference. This one has a button with a plus and minus sign, but even on the lowest setting the amount that it dispenses is about TEN TIMES the amount you need to wash your hands, which is annoying to try to get all the soap off, and also a huge waste of soap.
I returned these and will try to find the one with the small round button on the top instead of this oval elongated button.
Great pump and dispenses good amount of soap

I bought 2 of these - this brand and a different brand. This one pumps a great amount of soap. I like the separate on/off buttons on top. The other brand the on/off button is the same button and it dispenses about half the liquid soap of this one. It would depend on your preference of amount of soap as to whether that's an issue for you or not. The other brand is the shinier stainless design with a black button and black base.
For personal preference, the base of this one is gray plastic. I'd prefer matching material base. The gray base looks a bit cheap since its plastic. But it goes with the overall design. Doesn't stand out negatively.
Vacuum works!

The mug looks great and functions as intended. Some have stated it is not vacuum insulated. Mine was. I can see where the confusion could occur though. In theory vacuum insulation would mean the outside surface stays at room temperature while the inside surface is beverage temperature. However, with this mug the outside wall temperature DOES change. This is because heat travels along the metal.
I filled a regular double walled mug and this mug at the same time with 10oz hot coffee. The non-vacuum double walled mug became warmer immediately and evenly on the entire outside surface. The Man Mug however first started becoming warmer at the outside top, where coffee did not touch. Over time the heat traveled down the outside. The last part of the mug to get warm was the bottom. As the heat traveled through the metal it dissipated so much that the temperature on the bottom barely budged beyond room temperature. I used an IR thermometer after 5 minutes. The coffee was at 140F, the metal inside the mug directly above the coffee was 120F. The metal on the rim was 100F, outside top 90, outside middle 85, outside bottom 82. Ambient room temp was 78F.
Overall, it significantly out-performs ceramic. This mug works as designed and I am quite pleased. Those looking for better thermal efficiency should stick to vacuum insulated travel mugs with lids which can keep a beverage hot MUCH longer.
For beer drinkers, if it's not cold by the time you finish, you're drinking too slowly!
Beautiful jars, okay extras

I really like the size and heft of these glass jars. They made a beautiful gift for my in-laws. No complaints about the jars or black tops. The shaker lids, though, did present some difficulty since most of my blends needed the lids with larger holes. I ran out of them and had to leave a couple of jars without shaker lids. I wish I could have chosen to have all large holed shaker lids. The sticker labels were ugly (stark white, and not completely matte), and hard to write on. I used some others I had in my stash.
Pay a little more for a better one

Bought this for hand soap. There isn't much volume control on how much it will dispense. You cannot see when it's getting empty . There is a small light in front on the bottom that I was hoping might be an indicater but the instructions never tell you what the little bulb is or what its for. It never lit up if it was supposed to. My batteries corroded fairly quickly. It sits on my counter near my kitchen sink but not on it. I have a different dispenser for dish soap which sits right next to my faucet. It is older, still on its first set of batteries and hasn't corroded so wondering if this dispenser is just poor design? Don't get it. I waited one day too late to return it so I'm stuck with a non functioning paper weight.
Smaller than a standard size spice jar!

These are smaller than a standard size spice bottle. (See photo; this product is on the left.)
It's my fault for not reading the dimensions more carefully, so I'm not going to give a low rating based on size.
The jars seem sturdy. The lids are a little on the flimsy side and have a glossy insert that I'm not sure is food safe.
3.5 stars for the combo, and I'm returning because I was able to find standard 1/2 cup jars for the same price range.
