Use Tablet on the Toilet or Laying in Bedby Vincent (3 out of 5 stars)

Very simple design: metal base stuck to a pole, attached to a piece of plastic, that lets you use your tablet while laying down or on the toilet/couch
Able to fit 10+ inch tablets. Anything lower (like a kindle fire HD 8), you have to insert a cardboard attachment. Wish it was plastic though so you can clean it easier if needed. You cannot put your smart phone on this as a 6inch smart phone won't fit, minimum with attachment is a 7inch tablet. Diameter of the ring without attachment is 10inches
Pole is around 24 inches long and main tablet holder attachment is adjustable. Rotates easily, but for height adjustment some force/reassembly is required
Helps relive back pain when you're one to hunch over a lot while using your tablet sitting down
If you watch laying down for prologue period of time (especially at night), you may get drowsy and fall asleep before you finish binge watching that full season on Netflix everyone is talking about. If you do, be careful when waking up; if you sit up straight like 'The Undertaker' or Kane in the WWF/WWE then you may get a tablet stand to the face, which is not a good start to your day. Also if you watch 'The Ring' (film, preferably the Japanese version), it might freak you out when you wake up seeing a ring around your tablet.
There is some empty space (even with 10inch tablet) and it breaks the immersion a bit, but you get used to it. Also when swiping you have to get used to going against gravity when laying down
Very relaxing at the end of the day when you just want to rest and dose off watching a TV show. Depending on the steaming service and tablet sleep/wake feature, it may drain your tablet overnight, best not to attach an alarm solely on the tablet.
Base is heavy, and can stand on it's own in a sedentary position. When under a pillow, your head weight is not required for it to hold it in place.
I wouldn't attach this to a moving object like a tractor or lawn mower for example as the plastic holder is easily rotated and may swing your tablet to the ground. You can duct tape or super glue it into a fixed position, but there's still a chance it can fling our tablet in the air if you're moving at high speed and/or hit a speed bump as the tablet is loose on the stand and is only held by the gravity against the circle ring
Assembly is very easy. All you need is a screw driver. Can be put together in less than a minute
The stand is large and takes up space. May be a storage issue if you don't want to disassemble, reassemble every time.
Price is really hefty at $40 (as of this review). You can make this yourself as a DIY project if you have the materials laying around. May be worth it if you use it daily.
Pretty Awesome Solution!

This thing is too cool. It is a simple yet elegant solution to watching your iPad in bed. There's not much to the device - it's seriously just a circle on a pole. It comes with some cardboard pieces you can put in the circle to hold smaller devices but my normal iPad fits in it perfectly.
now if I have troubles sleeping I can fall asleep to something on TV. I can enjoy a TV show with the wife without worrying about who is going to hold the iPad, or my son can chill out and watch some cartoons for a bit. we've used it a lot already and it seems sturdy enough to last for quite a while.
Large and Clunky

It works as a stand, I have an iPad 2 so I don't have to use the cardboard insets, which although nice cardboard are still cardboard. I didn't expect it to be quite as big and clunky as it ended up being. the adjustable part as other have said is just a rubber band around the pole that holds the top part up, it's adjustable, but not dynamically so. I don't intend to use it in bed, but I really wouldn't want it kind of a stretch to expect people to put a giant metal plate under their pillow and then awkwardly slide under the pad holder. You can swing the holder out of the way, but the whole thing would be incredibly awkward and cumbersome to set up for bed use and if you are just using it as a stand it take up entirely too much space.
I don't use mine. But, it's nice.

Works as advertised. Had to retrofit it to work with my Note 4. But, for me, I just don't use it like I thought I would. Honestly, I've used it once (I've had it for 4-5 weeks). Sits next to a low slung chair in the master.
However, it is well made. It is solidly constructed. It works as advertised. The base is properly heavy and won't likely result in any tipping accidents. Reasonable solution to a minor problem. Your arms and hands should work just fine if you don't want to spend the money.
A great implementation, but creates an uncomfortable experience in bed.

The iBed does what it does very well, but as some reviews have mentioned, the metal base can be uncomfortable. Assembling the iBed is easy and it provides a spot-on viewing angle in bed. The simplistic design achieves what many of us have been waiting for in a tablet-in-bed solution.
The problem with the iBed is that when the base is tucked under your pillow, be it a soft or firm pillow (I've tried both), the solid metal stand digs into the top of your back a bit. I believe most reviewers don't consider this an issue because it's a slight trade-off. Well, we all know your bed is for two things and one of course is sleep ;). If any obstacles exist to give you a good nights rest, it should be remediated. Unfortunately for me, returning the iBed was that remedy.
Do not buy at full price. Be worn

For a list price of 160 dollar it misses components that should definitely be their for that price. Things like a easy way to adjust the hight, different hight poles to match different uses, metal (or other sutiable materials) to change the hole . The way to change different sizes to hold the thing is cardboard that you punch out/put back in. The card board punch out falls out after you fully remove it the first time when you place your smaller device on it. Only reason I didn't put 1 star is that you can still use it for iPad and I baught it on "sale" at over half the cost.
Now to find an iPad stand that works....this one DOES NOT!

Complete and utter rip off. 1 star just 'cuz I had to......looking for something to watch in bed? Keep looking. This thing does not extend high enough to watch from bed. And who needs another table for an iPad. My goodness you can set an iPad anywhere and watch it. Not to mention if you watch shows while sitting up you have to look down the whole time. Don't put yourself through the aggravation of being ripped off by a product that is completely misrepresented. It is made of cardboard! And btw it does not work w iPad mini as the description states it does. That swoosh was my money going down the toilet!
This is a great concept with just one flaw

This is a great concept with just one flaw... The pole is too short and for those of us with bifocals it is almost impossible to enjoy because the device is too close to our face and we have to look through the bottom part of our glasses to be able to see well. This leaves one having to tilt the head back at an akward angle and dealing with a pain in the neck the next day (no pun intended). It would be perfect if it had an adjustable pole so that whoever needs to place the devise a little bit farther away from their face can raise it.
Great idea and concept, but not recommended. Regret the purchase.

Interesting concept. Could be expanded on and made better. For the price I would have expected to see something more than cardboard inserts to hold the tablet. How can that be expected to last? Not recommended unless improvements to product are made. Still great idea though.
