I bought these bottles to take to a 4 day music festival because they looked light and easy to stash in a back pack when folded.

When I first got them I found it very hard to squeeze as directed on the rim to get them to pop open so I called on my stronger husband who also had trouble but we finally got them to pop up and fully extend. I will say that after several uses and being careful not to engage all four tabs when folding them they were easier to get to pop open. Also, you have to realize that the sides are soft which makes drinking from them somewhat tricky but if you remember to hold the full bottle by the harder plastic collar, it is easier to drink from. All in all they served the purpose for which they where purchased, that is, they were easy to carry when folded down, didn't take up much packing room and provided an easy fill when needed.

When you are through using them you will have to leave them sit open a long while to dry out the inside to prevent them from getting moldy.

I'm a fan. Folds down, pops up. Pros: Lightweight, collapses. Cons: Lid isn't attached (you can drop it), you can taste it at first. Tricky to open: Take the lid off. Lace your fingers together. Place it between the heels of your hands. Squeeze like you're squeezing a lemon and it pops open. Confounded me at first.

What an awesome water bottle! I recently took this on an international trip with lots of plane/train/boat/bus trips and it performed beautifully. One of the best things about it was after I finished drinking my water, I didn't have to carry around a heavy or bulky plastic bottle. I could crumple it down and throw it in the bottom of my bag! The narrow mouth made this easy to drink out of but it was a little tricky to clean on the road and hard to get ice cubes into. Other than that, no complaints!

Love this water bottle!!! I take This when I have to walk everywhere mainly bc it folds down and saves space in my bag when it's empty. I always found my nalgenes too bulky and hydroflasks too heavy. This was perfect at Bunbury and Bonnarroo and all around the UK. Easy clean up and dries rather quickly. If you are on the fence as I was-just get it!

Cool water bottle. Only complaints are it's a little difficult to compress/close and to open/expand; the cap is not attached via a leash.

Unless you have fairly good hand strength, this bottle will be difficult to untwist. Reminds me of the bottles prescribed medications come in, "child-proof" but really adult-proof. I had to return the item.

I bought this bottle when I first joined the army during training and it is still with me and going strong nearly three years later. I use it on a daily basis and it has been through many drops, impacts, and throws, and it still holds up fine. This bottle survived a year in Afghanistan with me too. Provided that you properly maintain it with weekly washes and refrain from sugary drinks, there isn't really a smell or taste added to the water. I really do think this is an underrated bottle for all of the use I have gotten out of it. I would recommend this to all people looking for a portable bottle for daily use.
