Had it for almost 3 years and it's still holding up!! My son uses it every day in his gaming area and sleeps on it all the time! He absolutely loves it!! Just recently had a tear at the seam(surprised it took over 2 years to happen seeing all the use!) but sewed it up, washed the cover and reassembled. Took us about 10 minutes to get it back together and zip around the foam. No problem!!

LOOKED FAR AND WIDE

I looked far and wide for a solution to my bed problem. I needed something that would fit in a very small area of a travel trailer so measurements were crucial. The measurements of this bed are accurate. I had no problem with the zippers or the temporary (20 min.) chemical smell that came from the mattress as it expanded. It's noteworthy that the mattress comes in a box about 1x1 feet by 58 inches long. It is rolled up inside a bag from which the air has been sucked before shipping. You pull the rolled mattress out of the box, roll it out on something flat and start removing the plastic bag. As soon as a section of the mattress is exposed to the air, that section begins to expand - so I didn't waste time getting it out of the bag. My mattress was absolutely clean and intact. The directions say to give it 24 hours to expand, but I couldn't help myself. I wanted to try it out so I laid down on it for a few seconds about 20 minutes after it was exposed to the air. It is very firm, but I like my mattress firm so that doesn't bother me. Like others, I was surprised that I didn't feel the seams between the sections where it folds - at all. I was looking for them. I will be using my mattress to sleep on at night and as a couch on the trailer floor during the day. When sitting on it, it's low to the floor - but that's what I needed because the trailer wall curves inward at that location and anything higher off the floor would have caused a head to blinds collision. The small (low) backrests (two-fold stack) on the rear of the mattress work for me because the mattress is pushed directly against the wall so the wall prevents them from moving back. I laid on it again for a more extended time and I'm definitely happy with it all around. I spent a lot of time looking for something like it and I'm glad I found it - all good.

We bought this for our playroom as a child's couch and extra bed for company. It has been an excellent buy. We did put a memory foam topper on it when used as a bed. Everyone says it is very comfortable and I like that it folds so easily back to a small couch. Such a handy item for any room . I highly recommend!!

I've had this now for 4 months and would return it if I could. It's terrible for a side sleeper.

The first time I woke up with hip pain I thought it was from activity. Then I realized it happened every time I slept on this mattress with a solid base underneath it.

The final time I woke up with enough hip pain to limp while walking.

Avoid this mattress.

I guess the experience can be different for some users, depending on what you need this product for. I have used as a guests mattress. The couple that slept on it for 2 weeks liked it and found it comfortable, but after washing the cover for the first time the mattress doesn't fold like it did when it was new and getting the zippers to work was not easy and part of the fabric ripped. I am disappointed, since this product is not cheap.

I was looking for a mattress that was really comfortable, light enough for me to carry, and portable in my car. Finding something that meets all three criteria is tough, so I shopped around for a long time before making a final decision on this one. I weigh about 140 lbs and sleep on my stomach (yeah, I know, not good for me) or my side, and for me, this mattress is /perfect/ after putting some sheets on it, just like a normal bed. It absolutely is soft and comfy, but it's firm/supportive enough that I can never feel the floor through it. (It's actually *more* comfortable than the old queen mattress I had at our last apartment!) Plus it will fold up and fit inside my car if we need to move after my current lease ends, which is a huge deal for me. I have it on the floor currently, but will probably get a foldable bedframe too so we have more storage space in the apartment.

I'm going to be using this as my daily bed, so if it ends up losing its supportiveness, I will update this review. But as of now, I would recommend this to anybody looking for a portable and still extremely comfortable bed.

Per my son who was using this as a guest bed, it is most uncomfortable. I bought it thinking that it reminded me of a similar product that I purchased at a mattress store in Oakland, California back in 1981. That sofa/bed was about twice as thick. It was pretty comfortable both as a sofa and as a guest bed. It lasted a number of years and underwent several residence moves. This current product is not comfortable. I doubt that it will last as long as the older product. Pity. The other reviews on this product were quite favorable and were the driving force for me to purchase this sofa/bed. I cannot recommend it. I think that if they made the cushions thicker, the sofa/ed would be more comfortable and useful.
