Product Description
The most important thing you can do to prevent boredom in your cat is to make sure their environment is stimulating. This means an environment with things to do - windows to look out of, things to watch, places to climb and safe toys to play with. Climbing posts, scratching posts, cat grass, windows perches, window beds, and a view of birds or squirrels to watch are all great ways to enrich your cats life and prevent boredom. In nature cats would use their energy to hunt. That hunting requires short bursts of energy then they'd spend the rest of the time sleeping and grooming so they'll be ready for the next hunt (grooming is important so prey won't smell them coming). Without the need to hunt prey they need other outlets for that pent up energy. It's good for cats to get some sort of workout and changing it up to keep them interested is important. There are many ways to keep your cat lively, giving them access to energetic companions, making a play session part of their day, and/or offering them tempting exercise equipment for use when you're not at home...that's why we came up with "One Fast Cat" cat wheel. Our cat wheel design is more advanced than any before it: Smart industrial design allows it to ship or retail in a very small box (box size) This design also allows for it to be assembled extremely quickly for home use Sturdy and lightweight for ease of moving it around It is made of Recycled plastics Run surface is made from a closed cell EVA foam to prevent claws from catching and allowing cats to run naturally using their claws for safe footing Can be cleaned by taking it outside and spraying it with a hose or wiped down with a wet towel Open design so cats can enter from either side NEW - Roller Blade Wheel Covers included free of charge! 48" diameter wheel 34" x 12" baseTop Reviews

For the value of it I was expecting something much, much better quality.
The base screws did not match the holes therefore I had to improvise because is not steady nor safe. And it needs extra sticky pads after a while that cats are sharpening their nails in it and chewing them theill need to be replaced.
Spinning wheel slides off easily

While the idea is great, product itself was not well constructed. The one I received, the tiny rectangular tabs, 3 of them broke off when I snapped on the wheel rims. After I put the wheel on the base, it would slide off the base easily on one corner, turned out that on that corner, the big wheel would not touch the small base-wheel. And because the wheel has foam padding glued to its track, you can't even fix it, because it would require you to peel off the padding.
However, the customer service team at One Fast Cat was great to work with, everyone I interacted with - from troubleshooting team to return processing team, everyone handled my complaint with professionalism, courtesy and grace. The also provided the option of partial credit for compensating the imperfect product if I chose to keep it as-is. In the end, I chose to take the partial credit and donate the wheel to a cat-rescue foster home. Their customer service quality has matched the standard amazon.com established and I applaud them for that.

I was very hesitant given many of the reviews. This is what I have to say...
I'm 25... female ... took me about an hour to put this wheel together. It's definitely not easy... but I wouldn't say ridiculously hard. Watch the video they send you... he helps a lots. The hardest part was snapping the center pieces in.
The material is cheap. I snapped a middle piece in the wrong direction and had to pull it out. It chipped way too easy. That said... fully assembled it is strong and hold my cats weight just fine. I'm not worried.
I was also worried because most of the review and videos show energetic bengals and other cats. I was really worried my cat wouldnt care for it.
My cat is almost two and a slightly overweight orange tabby. Indoor house cat. He loves it! He sniffed it the first night... and wasn't interested. But once I showed him how to use it and motivated him with a few treats... he has completely started using it on his own. I've had it three days now.
The only other thing to mention is the traction pads. He seems to be doing a number on them quickly...but they are replaceable it looks like and not very expensive.
Overall totally worth is if you have a over energetic house cat that likes to expel his energy on you at night instead of letting you sleep. I woke up this morning to a happy passed out kitty.
Surprisingly, my girl loves this!

Nyx is 5 years old and a special needs sweetie who does not go outside unsupervised due to seizures and a plethora of other issues (she is leash trained and has a harness so we can take her out to roll in the grass every night). She is typically a very happy house cat who is spoiled and well loved but lately she has been acting out.
I bought this without true faith she would use it, but the 60 day return policy made me decide to give it a shot.
It's taken some treat training for a few days, but less than a week after arriving she is in love! She's actually gotten to the point of getting on the track without treats and just trots along happily. She hasnt picked up any real speed yet -- if she goes too fast it freaks her out and she hops off, but I think with time she'll figure out that she can really stretch her legs.
It was quick and easy to put together (my boyfriend did it in about 15 minutes) and it is quite large but I'm willing to deal with it so long as it keeps my girl happy. It's also decently quiet and not really noisy at all.
This is a 10/10 -- would buy again!!

I was so excited when my cat wheel arrived. As a proud owner of a Bengal and Egyptian Mau, there was NO DOUBT that my highly energetic cats would dominate the Cat Wheel Olympics and become feline YouTube sensations.
But alas, They wanted nothing to do with it. In fact, they were afraid of it. I remember laughing at one cat owner who wrote: Well, at least I now have a piece of modern art in my basement. --After eating a dinner consisting of baked crow, I humbly went to bed.
After a full week of sitting in the corner, untouched, at least the cats were not afraid of it. I managed to get them to sit at the bottom, with no movement, by feeding them their morning meals in the wheel. --They did not like it, but they were hungry, and maybe they would associate the wheel with food, not fear.
I have always considered myself a Jackson Galaxy with the kitties, but it was my wife who turned out to be the real Cat Whisperer in getting our cats to love the wheel.
After placing the cat wheel as close as possible to the outer flat side of the kitchen counter, she then took our 18 inch square, 32 inch tall Rubbermaid garbage container and placed it on the other side of the wheel. This created a 3/4 cave-like enclosure around the wheel. As you know, any type of box is a cat trap, and sure enough, Simba went into the cave all by himself.
My wife then gently coaxed him forward with bits of hot fresh deli chicken --his favorite-- making him take baby steps in the process. The wheel slowly started turning! Keep in mind this was a very slow rotation, too fast and a cat leg could easily fall in the gap between the wheel and the counter wall. I imagine that one could tape a big piece of round cardboard to one side of the cat wheel, and use a stationary piece to form a wall on the other side.
Yes, there were falls and slips of sorts. And while cats are very fast, they are not long-winded, so there was lots of encouraging spurts, followed by long rest periods. No problem, we never pushed our luck. With the other cat, we used his favorite feather toy, but the same process. Again, slow, baby steps, lots of care, encouragement, reward, and patience. About 10-15 minutes a day maximum. On day 2, we removed the big plastic garbage rectangle --but leaving the counter wall or half a cave. Day 3, Simba gets in the wheel and boldly trots for 3-4 revolutions, stops, looks up, and waits for (i.e. demands) fresh chicken. Have we created a monster?
I hope this helps you in getting your cat to use the wheel. It does take time, repetition, and patience! --Remember learning how to ride a bicycle with training wheels? --Same principal.
Turn it into quality time with your family/cats and it can be more gratifying than you can imagine! --Good luck and Godspeed!
He just liked to sit quietly and look at it

Don't give up on this wheel! For just over a month my Bengal boy, Levi, wouldn't touch his wheel. When I would spin it slightly he would run away from even the sound of it. Treats, laser pointers, toys...nothing seemed to get him on the wheel. He just liked to sit quietly and look at it. I was greatly disheartened and had pretty much given up hope that he would use it when I suddenly received a text from my spouse one weekday morning that Levi was on the wheel galloping along! I was shocked given his prior apprehension, but now it is his favorite activity ever. He goes for a jog on the wheel every few hours and ADORES it. He is a MUCH happier and well-adjusted cat :)
As to the wobble issue that some people have described, in addition to watching the troubleshooting videos, be sure to check whether your floors are completely level -- chances are good that they are not! If any one of the legs has a little give under it -- even a few millimeters difference -- you may need to add a little shim under that leg. The quick solution for me was simply to get a little stack of post-it notes and add a few under the corners where needed. I live in an old home with wood floors. While they appear level, there are natural subtle irregularities in the floor that translate into a shimmy on the properly-assembled wheel. One design modification that would help would be screw-in footings that could be easily adjusted as necessary for each home's situation. The same solution is used to minimize vibration on other products with a horizontal spinning axis, for example, a front-loading washing machine. Also, if you are placing the wheel on fluffy carpeting, that will add "give" under the footings that increases the wobble. If you place a little square of something flat and solid under each footing to spread the downward force more evenly over the carpet, this may help with both leveling and reducing the "give" caused by the carpet pile.
Overall, this is a great product and I am thrilled with the purchase.

* The side track parts were warped and would fracture and splinter off when tapped into place with rubber mallet.
* Received replacement track and still experienced the same issue.
* The base wheel parts were too large for the side track, rendering the product unusable.
* Plastic was cheap - thin and wobbly, so we didn't feel confident in its safety even if we were able to fully assemble it.
* Received refund so thankful for that but overall a waste of time and wasteful/bad for the environment.

Absolutely one of the best buys I have ever made. Really easy to put together ( watch the YouTube video) with the rubber mallet that comes with it. Not all of the 4 cats have taken to it, but one of the Bengals is obsessed and one of the tabbys will take his turn routinely.

I got this wheel for my rehab opossum who is blind and cannot be released. He uses it every day. He walks on it and even runs.
It was pretty easy to put together and is easy to clean. I'm very happy with it and glad I got it for him.

Sadly I cannot give this more than one star...I am not an engineer, mechanic, or handy person, so I do not claim to be an expert with tools, but like others I followed the instructions and watched the video to put this together with as much care as possible. My cats both loved it but, the wheel would derail after just a few rotations. The wheels were not lined up and the constant time and effort of putting it back on finally wore me down to giving up and throwing it out! The concept is excellent but the materials are cheap and having to put plastic/fiberglass hybrid parts together that broke at the slightest use of the enclosed rubber mallet did not bode well for it. After watching the wheel come off numerous times I was really worried for the safety of my two Girls and opted to be safe and remove it!
I see some small dog training wheels and will probably opt for one of those since they appear to be made of machined metal and shipped per-assembled. I would rather pay a little more for the convenience of having a safe and ready to go wheel then the frustrating experience of this product again.
