I don't need a big, flashy Christmas tree. Mostly because I don't have the time to set it up and decorate it, only to then undecorate and store it for most of the year. Plus, I have dogs. Who, will more than likely, take any sort of decorations off the tree...if not "water" the tree when I'm not looking. So, I went with the Charlie Brown Christmas Tree. It isn't such a bad little tree.

It comes in a triangular-shaped box, and it is folded up. The tree is folded, I mean. It is sort of like paper-mache around wire. The "pine needles" are plastic, and can fall off. The ornament is wrapped up in the blanket. It was difficult to shape the tree into what it is supposed to look like, but I guess I didn't do too bad. I think the original tree doesn't have as many branches actually. The stand is horrible. The tree has a screw on the end you're supposed to screw into the base. It stuck through one piece of wood, and the other piece is too large, so it slips right out and since it is top heavy, can fall right over. So, I actually have a ruler sitting underneath the side of the base to keep it standing.

I set the tree up on my fireplace mantel so it wouldn't be touched. Overall, it is cute, not tedious, and works as a Christmas tree for me.

Much cuter than I anticipated. Ornament is real old school meaning it's breakable, so be careful when unpacking it (it comes carefully wrapped in Linus' blanket (which I love btw). Minimal assembly - no tools required. Only suggestion: wish they would lightly sand the wooden base. It took me 5 minutes though with fine sandpaper to avoid chance of splinters, so no biggie. I still give this 5 stars for cuteness and pure nostalgia. I ended up taking mine to work (see pic). It's on my desk. People walk by and immediately knows what it is. People old and young love Peanuts for the past 50 years now.

Great decoration for the holidays. Everyone who's seen it loves it. Taking away one star b/c the base doesn't go together very well. The main trunk of the tree is threaded at the bottom. The threads go through the top plank of the base and screw into the bottom plank. However, the threaded bit is too long, so it makes the whole thing wobbly if you tighten it all the way. I had to unscrew the trunk to the point that the bottom of the threads were flush with the bottom of the base, which made the top plank very loose. Still, If you don't move it around too much it's not a big issue. The blanket actually holds the base planks in place pretty well.

This couldn't have been cuter!!! I used it for a not so festive but festive decor reason. I used it to place at the cemetery. It worked beautifully! I love it!!! If you are a peanuts fan it's a must have!!!! It's not overpriced. It's adorable!!!!!!! Really! I'm ordering a 2nd for my home. It is just so darn cute!

I really can't say enough about how cute it is. The blanket is not attached. I arranged the blanket and then hot glued it in place. It worked great!!!!

Product is as stated. The only shortcoming seems to be the factory packaging. The one ornament, a glass Christmas tree ball, was shattered. The original protection was the ball was in a plastic bag, with the thin blanket included wrapped around it, placed loosely in the box with the tree and the two parts of the base stand. The base stand pieces were not secured, so they would shift in the 2 foot long box, which by their weight alone would cause the glass ball to break. If any would arrive in one piece would be a miracle. However, it is easily replaced with another once the tree arrives, so it is not a big loss, but it does take away from the product overall. No one wants something new to arrive with a piece broken. But it does bring the story alive to have something that had only been seen in the cartoon story in your own home.

I bought this because our family was moving around Christmas into our new home and we really could not put up our regular tree. It was adorable! We set it up on the coffee table and put the gifts around it. I will probably put it up again this year (along with my regular tree), just because it is so cute! It does come with the blanket.

We lost our 1st Charlie Brown Christmas tree... Seriously I can't find it so I came through with another one just in time. Easy to assemble and we were drinking wine within 3 minutes. We had our tree up faster than the whole block and were just as merry. Added lights for that full effect and our Cornish Rex was already feeling festive when he found it (hid the ornament until he was not as excited) . It won't reply bend back to its original shape without tearing the wire wrapping (to put it back in the box for storage) but I just stick it in the corner of my printer nook until next christmas anyways.

Not exactly the same look as the true Charlie Brown Christmas tree

This is a Charlie Brown Christmas tree and is the best looking one i've seen HOWEVER there are some things not true to life about the tree. The Charlie Brown Christmas tree (in the video) has long needles. This tree needs long needles and doesn't have them. Too many branches of needles. AND the ornament hanging at the bent top of the tree is too small and not a red ornament but a red glittery ornament. Other than those things the tree is great. And the stand is sturdy and doesn't wobble if you put it all together properly

My wife is a huge Peanuts fan. We didn't have room for a real Christmas tree this year since we're moving around the holidays so I secretly got this and had it up when my wife got home from work. Her face lit up and made it a great surprise for her.

This is just some thick wire, wrapped with brown paper tape, with some face tree needles glued on. The ornament is a regular glass ornament and the "blanket" is a cheap small piece of fabric. It screws on to two pieces of wood (I didn't have any problems with that as some did).

With all of that considered I think it is the best Christmas tree possible because it made my wife smile and put us both in the holiday spirit when nothing else was possible. I'm glad we didn't deal with the big real tree that we have to put up, drag out the ornaments, keep watered, make sure the animals don't' mess with it, and then take it all down in a few weeks. That seems like a lot of work. I doubt this will be the primary tree many years but thanks to this I don't miss a tree and can really appreciate the simplicity and the holiday.
