Really wanted to love it but won't work in your lapby Dan (3 out of 5 stars)

Really wanted to love this keyboard but unfortunately there was one dealbreaker and a couple of other issues. The dealbreaker for me is that it doesn't lock open. Because of this it won't work in your lap as it's always going to want to fold in between your legs. The other issues I have with it are that the right shift key types the letter N (I'm sure this was just a one-off issue and a replacement would have fixed that) and the plastic part at the hinge is a bit chincy feeling when opening it up.
If they come out with a second gen version that locks open I would buy it in a second.
The Best Bluetooth Compact Traveling Keyboard Available, Hands Down!!!!

I've searched high and low for a great quality, reliable bluetooth keyboard and I've finally found it! Flyshark is the one for those of you who need something very compact, with a great build, and thoughtfulness. The keyboard does have a bit of a different layout to make it compact, but yeah, thinking outside the box is how we achieve great products like the Flyshark. A very inventive/creative team. It's taken a minute to get used to, but now I'm flying on the keyboard, and the bluetooth connectivity is stellar compared to other keyboards I've tried. Super easy to connect, and the compactness is exactly what I was looking for. I highly recommend this for anyone who travels as much as I do and want something compact, light, and RELIABLE!!!!! Worth every penny. I'm keeping my eye on the Flyshark team for future products. Well done Flyshark!! (And yes, this review was typed using the Flyshark).
Can't return after 30 days regardless of poor manufacturing

I purchased this keyboard for an employee to use while out in the field with his iPad. He did not need it right away, so he did not notice the problems immediately. Once he started using it, he noticed several keys on the keyboard were in the wrong place. He had to keep referring back to the packaging which had a photo of the keyboard, but with correct key placement. He tried to keep using it, and even tried popping off the keys to move them, but it did not work. He just returned it to me to be replaced, but yesterday was the cut-off for returns, even thought this is a manufacture's fault for having poorly manufactured items.
A Fantastic product from a Fantastic company

Let me breakdown my review into two parts. The company and the product.
Flyshark is an unbelievable company. By mistake, I received the Spanish version instead of the US version and I contacted them thru Amazon and received an immediate reply. They said they would ship the proper keyboard and if I would mail the Spanish one back they would reimburse the postage. I sent proof of mailing and within one day had the credit on my account. The rushed the new keyboard and I had it in just a few days. They are the best. They even tried to reach me by phone to appologize and make sure I received the proper keyboard. I missed their call but got a voice mail.
Now as to the product. I am typing this whole review using the keyboard and it is a very pleasant experience. It has good tactile response to the keys. I don't find it a problem having the numbers imbeded in the keyboard. Once you use the number pad a few times, it becomes natural. They must have made a change in the plastic on the underside because mine is a softer plastic which does not slide around on the desktop like others have reported. As described by others, it is very light, and compact when folded up. It is smaller than my iPHone 6 Plus. My plan is to use my phone and this keyboard when traveling as I can do all that I did on this combination and in fact sell my iPad mini which I used for traveling in the past. I can link to my home computer and control it with this combination as well as I did with my ipad mini and its bluetooth keyboard case. This is even easier because when unfolded, the keyboard is a full sized keyboard and easy to touch type with. I wish I could give this more than 5 stars. I forgot to mention it came with a stand for the iPHone which takes up no space . It is the size of a credit card.
My New Favorite Bluetooth Keyboard

I backed this company on Kickstarter and I love this keyboard. I use it with my iPad and my iPhone when I need to compose a long email. It's a great product, completely portable and comfortable to type on. I'm going to buy more now that I know it's available on Amazon.
Small and compact with a good metal casing

Pros:
Small and compact with a good metal casing. It has a rechargeable battery and the keys have many extra functions.
Cons:
One personal one is that it took a little getting use to not having the number keys up top. The marks on the f and j key are a little light and not easily felt so it is not easy to get your fingers in position by feel. I used something to make better marks on mine. The biggest problem is that it does not lay 100% flat. Instead it rests a bit too much on the middle part which is just plastic. This allows it to slide about a bit much if you are not careful. You also have to make sure to turn it off before closing it as the keys press together to help make it more compact.. That may be a pro and a con..
All in all, while I like my Penixx keyboard a little better this one is great for traveling because of it's size so one stays home for me to type at my leisure while this one goes out and about with me when I am not likely to be typing as much.
Like the idea, not well implemented

I have been using this keyboard for a while with my Toshiba Encore Write 2 tablet. Bought the keyboard so the table would be a bit more functional. I thought the idea of how the keyboard folded was amazing. I have used portable keyboards in the past that did not fold and what ended up happening is that the keys would pop off and make it unusable.
With this keyboard I havent had that happen yet. The one big thing is how the keys are actually set up. Do not expect to set any typing records with this keyboard. There are two function keys on this which help make the keyboard more portable. How the function keys are set up though make typing a bit harder than normal. I would of liked it if the number keys had their own row. Yes this would add more bulk to the keyboard but would also make typing easier.
Secondly, this keyboard does not lock into place when folded out. Do not expect to be able to type anything on your lap because the thing will just end up folding back up on you. Along with when it is sitting on the table the thing doesnt always sit flat especially when the rubber feet have fallen off of the back of the keyboard.
Last but not least, if you forget to turn off the keyboard expect to come back to your device and see a bunch of random letters. The keyboard doesnt have an automatic shutoff for when it closes. A little inconvenience but at the same time can be annoying.
All in all, I like the keyboard as a quick and easy way of typing something on my little tablet and phone as well sometimes but other than that I would keep on searching for another keyboard to use.
Need an magazine for using it on my lap

This is by far the lightest mobile keyboard with full-size keys. I can't understand why most of "portable" keyboards are so heavy that they are heavier than a tablet like ipad mini. No mention that many of them come with tiny keys. I thought I would be quite happy with the keyboard, until I got it this morning. I found I could not use it my lap -- as many have mentioned, there is no lock when the keyboard is fully unfolded. I think FlyShark designed it in this way for some reason: if the keyboard can be locked when unfolded, this would indicate that the keyboard is designed to work without solid support. However, to keep such kind of lock firm and durable, the cost would be increased and the keyboard would be heavier.
Another thing which is quite annoying is that, the bottom left corner of the unit I got is not support well. Every time I pressed a button in this area, e.g. ctrl or blue fn, the keyboard knocked the surface and made some noise.
Now, I think I have to bring an magazine with me, in order to use it on my lap, or reduce the noise caused by the uneven bottom
Excellent Folding Keyboard [Updated]

This is a remarkably compact keyboard, yet the keys are larger and easier to type on than most folding keyboards, of which I have had a few. The keys themselves have a decent amount of key travel and a good tactile feel. It is well-suited for writing notes and messages on my phone or Android tablet that would have been simply too long to write using on-screen keyboards. It takes a bit of adjustment, having the numbers and special characters integrated into the right-hand side letter keys, but trade off in size and portability is worth it. My first unit had several keys that stopped working after two months, but the company promptly sent another. I have updated my review to reflect their prompt customer service.

Half of the keyboard stopped working after a few months. Too bad, it would have been a very useful keyboard otherwise. Will be shopping for a different brand.
