After a minor hiccup, a good productby Amazon Customer (4 out of 5 stars)

As much as these items costs, you'd think there would be better quality control. I received a bad battery pack, both of the rear rim lights were inoperable and I only received six of the ten zip ties needed.
The installation went pretty well, although there should be a distinction made about using the short screws to secure the two rim pieces together. I mean, you figure it out when you try to use the long screws and realize that you've been tightening and tightening and tightening and go...hmmm...let me make sure I'm doing this right and realize there aren't enough of the long screws to be used for this step. The next step tells you specifically to use the "long" screws to secure the unit to the spokes.
The front lights do appear to work properly. I'll be giving customer support a buzz; we'll see if the whole experience raises or lowers my rating. Guess it's a good thing I bought some cheap lights at the bike shop; otherwise (as a night rider), I wouldn't have a tail light until this ordeal gets straightened out.

Not worth $200. Tough to install (and I'm a bike mechanic for a living). Not very bright, says each light is 30 something lumens overall it looks a total of maybe 45 lumens collective. Sent it back and got something better for cheaper. Great idea just not what it looks like in videos.

Got plenty of attention and compliments. You will definitely be seen in the dark. I'm pretty blind at night so I'm still not sure if the front light is bright enough for me to see what's in front so I'm going to get a headlight in addition.
Took about 3 hours for me to assemble. Be careful when the instructions says to really tighten the screws, don't over tighten it because it will break the plastic. Just use your instinct. Revolights was pretty fast about replacing my broken part, so no problem there.
My only con is that I wish there was an easier way to attach and detach the thing. I need to clean my chrome rims every now and then and this makes it tough. So just be prepared for that.
Battery and wires are a little awkward, but i cant suggest a better alternative, so I'm ok with it.
Overall, cool product and I hope they keep improving it.
Revo Lights - installation issues

Hard to install, hard to adjust. I even took it to the bike repair store but it keeps making a clicking noise where the light hits the break. Too expensive for the hassle and worry.
Highly recommend Revolights if you want to be seen.

Bought these for my son for Christmas. Once you figure out how they go on one wheel, the second one goes much faster. The online video is a must to keep you from messing up the install. GREAT LIGHTS!!. The red braking light flashes as you slow down to brake. Excellent front pavement lighting. I'm thinking about installing them on my bike when I ride in the summer. My son rides everyday to work and with the winter hours, it's dark sooner. He WILL be seen with these. BTW, the first review about damaging the wheel made no sense to me. These are light plastic rings with LEDs that mount on both sides of the wheel. How did the wheel get damaged?
I saw the inventor present this on Sharktank and thought it was a great idea. These are well thought out and engineered.

pro.
great customer service
bright leds good for guide light
makes people look at you for good reasons
cons
draws unwanted attention sometimes
a bit pricy
it would be better if you could charge it on the bike without having to take the battery off.
Pros - Excellent visibility, if that's what your looking for

This is a low rating, but I'll be as helpful as possible.
Pros
- Excellent visibility, if that's what your looking for, this is great
- Fantastic idea... The concept is good.
Cons
- Weight. If you are counting oz. this may not be the product for you. It's adding a significant amount of weight to rotating mass....
- Balance. This product not only adds a significant amount of weight to your wheels, but it also throws the balance of your wheels off. I've noticed a vibration when riding at higher speeds due to the fact that my wheels are now no longer trued and balanced.
- Clutter. Zip-ties? Really? Exposed cords running from the hub to the outer rim? No matter how nice you make it look, it looks messy.
I realize that a lot of reviews are written like some propaganda from the Revolights people, but hopefully this won't get buried. I'm keeping my set since it cost so much money, and I don't want to go through the hassle of removing them. They were a huge pain to get installed.

Awesome
Flashy, but not worth the hassle

They look absolutely awesome and I get tons of compliments on them, but in the end they aren't worth it and I plan on removing them.
I even went so far as to bring them to a bike shop which had been trained by the creators of Revolights on how to install them. They tuned them as best they could but stressed several times that I'll probably always have minor issues with them. In general, they look great, but they're not worth the continued hassle of keeping them on and functioning properly.
Pros:
-Beautiful design
-Look like magic
-Increased safety
Cons:
-A pain to install
-Need to make minor adjustments to them all the time so they don't rub on stuff
-They'll randomly start rubbing against a brake or my frame in the middle of most of my rides
