Great Device with Small Drawbacks

This tool is absolutely invaluable for clearing codes on your vehicle. The reason I mention clearing, is a lot of the time you will have a problem finding what the codes reported by the device actually mean. Overall, however, this is a great device which will report a lot of information including gas mileage, and engine information, depending on the year model of your car. The biggest advantage to this device over some others is the ability to work over WiFi with an iPhone. The only problem with this is that you will have no data while connected to the device.

Overall, for the price I paid, I am very pleased with the functionality. For iPhone users, DashCommand is a MUST have app to use with this device. I wish I would have bought this device way earlier!

Gave me quite a bit of information on my 2004 Acura TSX.

The age of my car limited me from getting the information I was needing when I would try to guesstimate gas mileage, fuel consumption, etc. So I got this in the hopes that it would fill in the gaps to give me a better understanding of how my car was behaving.

It did not disappoint. Along with DashCommand, I was able to connect it up immediately, and within 10 minutes, I was on the road getting real-time information.

The only drawback is, considering the age of the car, not everything was populating. My distance to empty and fuel remaining gauges would not populate, as I don't think the SAE.FLI PID is available for my car. But my in dash gauges work just fine for that.

Works great in my Toyota Tundra but not in my Chevy Trailblazer - which is actually the vehicle I bought this for. The other drawback is that to run this while driving means you don't have internet access because of the WiFi connection to the iCar.

It shows me everything I want to see just a pain to lose data to use it and that it won't connect to the car that I really need it for is why I have downgraded this.

Great size, easy setup and works very well. Brand new, great instructions. I use this for my iPhone 6, OBD Fusion on my 2007 Prius and would definitely recommend it.

Best OBDII wifi dongle I've encountered, by far, and sadly I've tried a bunch trying to save a few dollars. It's quick to connect and works with a iPhone 6 running Dash Command flawlessly.

Goodbye $16k Snap-On scanner!

Well this is a bittersweet realization that the $16k Snap-On scanner I bought 4years ago has been replaced by a smart phone and a device under $30! Works great w/ OBD fusion app for diag function! Bought this for quicker, easier useability... Had no idea it would put the Modis on the shelf! If you do any driveability diagnosis, this will perform pretty much every function you'll need.

It only worked with one diagnostic app I was using called Leaf Spy. It would not work at all with Leaf Stat.

When I got this tool, it would only initially connect and work for 2 minutes. contacted seller, and via a coup;lle emails determined the one was faulty. They send me another, and it works great.
