How To Use:

I agree with the happy comments I see from users - no need to reinvent the wheel but I do echo the sentiments!! I actually didn't buy these for myself. I bought them as a Christmas gift to accompany a set of 4 Waterford Whiskey glasses for my super-classy successful boyfriend who was cool enough to end our relationship via text shortly before Christmas...so, I kept it all for myself and I love using the Whiskey Stones! You don't have to use them in just Whiskey, either - and since I'm using these with delicate cocktail glasses - I do agree with the person who wrote the cautions:
- They can easily crack, chip or shatter a thin glass cocktail glass if they are dropped in carelessly.
- These are for sipping! Be careful about throwing back the last of a drink as they could chip a tooth.

Definitely a good investment. Use half of them - when they start to get a bit warm - rinse them off and switch them out for the other half; that way your Whiskey Stones are always cold! I'll definitely buy more as gifts for friends and family!

Perfect for just right temperature whiskey

Fantastic whiskey stones. Let me preface that statement by saying I have never actually tried a true stone version of the whiskey stone. I used to use the giant cocktail ice cubes Cocktail Cubes Large Silicone King Cube Ice Cube Trays, Makes Big Cubes for Whiskey, Dusk Blue but have found even these slow melt cubes still watered down my whiskey too much. The giant ice cubes are fantastic for high proof and cask strength stuff but when you drink an 85-100 proof whiskey the spirit gets watered down as you sip slowly and enjoy, hence the Yukiss stainless steel whiskey stones. The set of 8 is perfect giving you two sets of 4 stones for all night enjoyment of your favorite spirit mine being bourbon. Since I have bought these a few months ago I have used nothing but these when I sip on my favorite bourbon. I just bought this second set to have at our beach house since I forgot to take mine with me last time, they are that indispensable to me, enough said.

Ice that doesn't dilute your drink! What's not to love!

Ice that doesn't melt and dilute your drink. There's an invention that was long overdue! I got these and tried them out. They don't last as long as ice cubes but they get the drink cold fast. Maybe not quite as cold but it's close. Ive used them for soda and for alcohol and I'm very happy with these. I was more than satisfied with how well they worked. I don't use ice much because I hate watered down soda or whiskey. Now I'm happily using these and enjoying cold drinks. I looked long and hard before choosing and these are far superior to the stones. Well worth the cost and very nice looking in a glass. A snap to clean and the tray is handy for storage. I wouldn't drop these in a glass so the included tongs were a nice touch. I'll buy more of these!

I bought these stainless steel ice cubes as a gift for a friend, who really likes to indulge in liquids on the rocks and l'm happy to report that it turned out to be a big hit. He used it to chill whiskey and his wife to chill white wine, they said it worked great!

The product came in a neat packaging with a convenient pair of thongs, I particularly liked the clear plastic storage box that looked clean and easy to maintain, the same goes for the stainless steel ice cubes that my friend said remained cold fairly long, longer than the whiskey stones he already owned. The Yukiss cubes are easy to clean and store again for future uses.

These cubes work as advertised. They keep the whiskey chilled nicely without the watered down affect. The stainless steel material ensures that other flavors do not leach into the whiskey, and maintains the true flavor of the spirit you are drinking. I like the carrying tray and appreciate that it comes with mini tongs to handle the cubes. I use Glencairn whiskey glasses that have a curved bottom, so my only negative is that the cube does not sit perfectly on the bottom and there is a little bit of clinking when using this glass. I do not have this problem when using a rocks glass as the cube sits perfectly on the bottom and the weight seems to be sufficient. Please be aware that this is not a exact replacement for ice. I use real ice in my drinks from time to time if I actually want the ice water to dilute my whiskey for a more balanced taste. These cubes also do not get the spirit as cold as regular ice would. If you are looking for that effect without the watering down, then just put the bottle in the freezer. If you have realistic expectations, then you will love these cubes!

I bought these for my wife, she likes to have ice in here wine - weird right? I though the would work good for whiskey high balls too; and, I liked they came with a case and tongs. She bought these for me too, great minds! The good they work okay but you need to use 3 or more to cool a warm drink and for a chilled drink 2 to 3. Its good we got 2 sets as you have to rotate them as you drink. The tongs are great as you don't have to drop them into a glass which might break your glass. They do cool with out impacting the taste of your drink, even juice drinks like Screw Drivers and Harvey Wall Bangers etc.

First, I have not compared any similar products. That said, this product does cool a glass of room temperature whiskey but you would want to just cover the stones with the liquid to get the maximum effect. The liquid is cooled but not like it would be with ice. The best result I have found is to cool the glass with the whiskey in it in a refrigerator or freezer and then add the stones to maintain the temperature. I use them in this way to enjoy good whiskey without the dilution that results from using ice. In addition, I like the look and feel of the stones.

These are a great addition to any whiskey drinkers collection. These are very classy looking and really dress up your whiskey.

This is the best way to cool your whiskey without diluting your 25 year or older whiskey.

The look of them compliments any drink.

I highly recommend these stones for the serious whiskey drinkers or anyone who is on the way to becoming one.

These are the only stones I put in my whiskey.

Truth be told, these work okay. I find that my drink stays cold but not very cold. It just takes a little longer to get to room temperature because of these stones, and they do not work better than ice cubes. But, as other people have said, ice cubes will dilute the drink.And it does not make your drink look as pretty as it could with a normal ice cube. For some people who care about aesthetics, it darkens the color of any drink. Ice cubes are transparent.

Ya know, these are a great idea! But... I just don't like the look of metal floating in my glass! It would be nice if it could resemble ice more than stone or silver blocks. Otherwise, it cools well (not like ice) as long as you understand these are great for keeping drinks cool, not to "cool down" a drink. Would I recommend ? Yes, just know what your needs are in purchasing this kind of item. Cheers!
