Great little carrier. I get positive comments on it from other parents while out and about. I used it from 4 weeks around the house to help him sleep, but he really didn't fit right until about 7 weeks.
It took a while to get it adjusted correctly.... and even longer to realize there is a built-in sunshade. Awesome.
I also bought the optional bottle carrier, but there is no convenient place to attach it as I was hoping.
Other reviews said they easily swap the carrier between mom and dad without taking the baby out. This might work if we were the same size, but in reality it is not that simple.. especially when transferring from her small settings to me; I cant just squeeze in and then adjust while also making sure the baby inside is comfortable.
Otherwise, getting on and off without the baby in is super easy.. over the shoulders and one buckle.. Sliding the baby into the carrier is easy also.. I unbuckle the two side clips, slide him in ensuring his foot goes through the opening and then clip the two clips back up.
There are "leg straps" that I have tried once, but they dont seem to do much and aren't needed (at least at this point).
The whole unit feels very durable and secure so I dont worry about him falling or the clasps breaking.
It's also adjustable enough that I don't worry he is squeezed in too tight like others I tried.
Love it.

Mission AWESOME!!! As a first time dad, it is obvious that the baby carrier "market" is focused on moms being happy with pretty colors and not much else. Mission critical took the time to design and engineer a product made to last and safely carry your child. My son started riding in it at 3 months and loves it. The straps are easy to adjust and made of very strong and durable, double stitched nylon and velcro (pic 1). Everyone that has seen it (in gray) has asked where to find one!! All of the snaps are exceptional (pic 2), the stitching is military grade(pic 3). The quality is so over the top I was very much amazed!!! Durable, durable, durable.... Great shade insert that is sewn in and is waterproof (pic 4). Interior is lined with athletic foam with holes that covered by strong nylon netting allowing heat to flow out and keep you and your bundle of whatever cool in Texas summer heat!

I love this carrier. I had another carrier, but my son hated being in it, and I hated wearing it. This carrier is so much better. What I love most is that I can take it off, and switch it to my husband with out having to take my baby out. Its also great to attach toys to, and my son seems very comfortable in it. And my husband likes wearing it too!

My LO loves riding in this and it is comfortable for both of us. I have seen a lot of carriers that tend to sag towards the waist, this isn't a problem here. The straps hold firmly onto the shoulders and waistline ensuring there is not slippage. This works for my daughter forward facing or reverse facing. The style definitely grabs attention as it isn't designed for women, like most carriers are. It gives the rugged appeal and I can go with it. I can even add some pink pins or bows since I have a daughter. There are plenty of compartments for smaller items, small pack of wipes, couple od diapers. However, you will need a bag for all the other necessities.
Best bang for buck carrier

Price wise this was about the same as any of the other baby carriers but it seems to be much more stable for me while doing activities. I can do work in the yard or go on hikes without worrying about the baby shifting or getting pinched/pressure put on her from the carrier. Baby in photos is just under a month old so she's a little on the small side for this (about 9lbs) but she loves it and is still able to see out the sides to watch what's going on. Will definitely recommend to friends
Great carrier, period

First, I am happy to find a baby gear company that recognizes that men are parents as well. I appreciate that this was designed from the ground up for a dad's needs rather than mom's.
This carrier is very comfortable to wear. My wife and I have tried 3 other carriers ranging in price from 60 to 200 bucks. She loves the ergobaby carrier we ended up with, but it left me with a sore back.
I can wear this carrier for hours a day with no aches or pains. My daughter is comfortable and happy riding in it, and I get lots of compliments on the "cool" carrier.
My only complaint is that it is pretty warm so wearing in a hot climate like Northern California can get uncomfortable for both baby and daddy pretty fast. I generally avoid wearing this outside if the temp is above 90.

This baby carrier, not only made me the envy of all the other dads, but has out preformed all other baby carriers. The comfort is simply amazing and makes it easier to do mundane tasks such as drinking a cold one, or sitting in the favorite recliner. The baby falls asleep almost instantly upon attachment to the provided baby spot & adding the S.01 day pack makes it easy for the wife to get what she needs out.
I've also learned wearing the tactical carrier and keeping a mean look on the face keeps the old ladies at bay. They no longer want to touch his face and feet. The sun shield adds a layer of protection from the old ones also as well as the harmful UV rays. The price is well worth it and after adding the desired FUBAR patches has only increased my daddliness tenfold.
The carrier itself doesn't interfere with my EDC or the holster of my handgun. The wife and i have also learned we can transfer the baby safely between us still in the carrier with ease because of the design of the strap adjustments.
This carrier is worth the price and don't settle for any other tactical carrier on the market.
If you just can't wear a "bra-like" carrier...

Totally enjoy this carrier. It's easy to use and fun to wear. I like it better than the other carriers and wraps that we have. The design allows me to transfer the baby & carrier to someone else if I need a break (go to the bathroom, etc) while minimally disturbing the baby. Not recommended for newborns and small babies, but I found I could use it for my small daughter at about 6 weeks.
Inside is nice, but I wish it was a little more comfy for baby. This is a fun carrier for dads who perhaps feel awkward wearing a "bra-like" wrap or carrier. But seriously, it's your kid, suck it up either and use something! Choose this carrier if you want some cool factor.
My Husbands Favorite Baby Item

This was my husbands MUST HAVE so we got it. When it came in, it looked better than his actual tactical vest for work! He said he was going to put a plate in it and wear it to work. Haha! We put baby in it when he was just about two months, so less than the recommended age, but he couldn't wait to use and wore it to the City Hall Christmas party with his baby snuggly attached. We love it. Can't wait to use it when baby gets bigger.
