Design details The Crash Guard bumper features a minimal design approach. The goal is to cover up as little of your device as possible while adding maximum protection. The Crash Guard bumper allows for as much exposure of your device and Apple's original design as possible. The Rhino Shield Crash Guard bumper will not slide around like many silicone, TPU or some snap-on cases. The Rhino was dropped from the roof of a car and then run over by either a truck or a car!! This gets 10 stars! My daughter has broken at LEAST 3 phones! she says the covers are on but I am not sure. I saw the advertisement for this, and had to try it. My daughter left the gym drove 3miles home and realized she didn't have her phone, She had put it on the roof of the car before heading home, and obviously it was not still on the roof (hard not to say DUH :-) she used the find your iPhone app and saw that it was close to an intersection where she took a turn (it stayed on the roof for about 2 miles with stop lights, maybe the rubber?) Anyway, she raced out of the house with my phone to find her phone, can back 8 minutes later with her INTACT phone!! as we looked at it you could CLEARLY see tire marks! (I also had a glass screen saver on it, but from my own cracked screen issues it definitely wasn't the screen that protected the phone) I would buy this for EVERY teen that I know

This case is lightweight, easy to put on, and looks good; my iPhone still looks like an iPhone, rather than a Tupperware. Most importantly, it really works. Within a week of buying it, I tripped over a rug and sent my phone flying across the room, face down onto a hardwood floor. There was not a scratch on it. This item has literally paid for itself twenty-six times over.

Edit: After owning this bumper for about a month, it started to develop jagged scratches that made it very uncomfortable to hold. You can barely see them, but it almost feels like a sharp mold line. Not sure how it happened -- there have been no additional drops. Maybe it rubbed up against keys in my pocket, maybe I did it with my fingernail by accident, not sure. I ended up replacing it with something more comfortable in the hand. Still, only docking one star because it really does protect the phone.

Charging port doesn't work with 3rd party cables

I just bought an iphone 6s and protecting it was priority #1. i HATE phone cases. Always had my iphone 5 nude. no case. Broke the screen 2 times and the first being the first time i ever cracked a phone screen. Didn't like paying $100 to repair it so i didn't repair it the second time, wasn't worth it. So i got a bumper. I've always thought they were cool. They protect your phone from drops, the phone still looks good and they aren't bulky. I have a skin on my iphone 6s which adds a slight layer to the phone. Also I have a screen protector that goes to the edges unlike most. So with both additions to the thickness, I was worried the case wouldn't fit. It was very hard to put on and take off at first but i'm used to it now. WHAT I HATE ABOUT THIS CASE IS where you plug the cable in to charge the phone. I have a lot of 3rd party chargers since we all know the apple cables suck but none of my 3rd party chargers fit the bumper. The charging port is so cut to fit that the only chargers that fit are the ones designed by apple. It's too much of a hassle to take the bumper off every time i need to charge my phone. Other than that. It protects the phone well. I've dropped it a bunch on accident, some worse than others. Phone's fine. Good overall purchase. Probably will buy the bumper again when mine breaks because yes. They all break, it's inevitable, they're job is to protect the phone. Better a broken case than a broken phone. lol

I Loved It. Until It Cracked.

I loved my CrashGuard. Until it cracked like 5 months after I bought it. It was a fairly new product when I purchased it so I guess this wasn't a known issue but I came back to order another one and saw all the reviews saying the same thing. If it was more durable, and if the paint and rubber didn't chip off, and if it didn't crack in half without ever being dropped or abused I would be a lifetime customer. I love the lightweight, thin, profile, and I love how you can still see the sexy iPhone casing with it on, but it just doesn't make sense to have to pay as much as this thing costs so often.

This is an amazing bumper that provide best protection without bulk I have seen so far and I have had many smartphones since the first iPhone and have used many different types of cases and protectors. I have used iPhone 6 Plus for one year using one of these bumpers and it survived several drops ranging from 2 ft to 6 ft on hard tiled, wood and concrete floors. Unless some new technology comes out in future that beats this one, I am going to continue using Rhino Shield and would definitely recommend it.

Purchased this bumper for my boyfriend after he broke the screen on his phone from dropping it without a case. After spending a lot for a replacement phone, I didn't want him breaking it again. He didn't like the idea of a case making the phone bulkier and this bumper case does the trick. It fits on the phone very well and has already protected his phone from a few drops when the phone has fallen out of his pocket. He tells me how much he likes the bumper more and more every day. The rubber also helps with his grip so the phone isn't as slippery.

After a year the bumper case has held up great against drops. After several drop there is no damage to the phone. I would say that the rubber material has deteriorated a little bit which I suspect is from constantly putting it in and out of my jeans pocket.

My son got this for his iPhone. Construction and fit seem good. He is happy with the product. He has not dropped the phone yet so I cannot comment on the level of protection offered. Looks good on the phone and fits snugly.

This is a very protective slim bumper case that I would recommend. Both the power button and volume rocker were very responsive. The only negative would be that it's a bit slippery to hold. Wish the grip was just a little bit better.

It fits, the buttons work, it does exactly what I wanted it to do. However the packaging suggests it included protective sheets for both the front screen and back of the phone, but there was only one for the back in what I received.
