Bought this for my husband's 50th birthday since he's more into beer than cake. I brought it to our celebration at a baseball game. The candle didn't sink, but it didn't stay upright at all. Would love my money back but was not about to carry a wet, useless candle around with me all day at a baseball game. Booooooo!

Didn't end up floating and it tilted 98% onto the beer. I've purchased this from perpetualkid.com before & it was EXCELLENT but since they ran out of the candle this year, I looked here and was disappointed.

I read the other reviews and decided to buy even though they stated the product doesn't float. I am happy to say they were wrong! I tested it in a glass of water before using it at my husband's birthday dinner. It worked in the water and then again in the beer. The only issue I had was that It was partly broken at the base of the candle and top of the flotation piece. It was a super easy fix though. It was definitely worth the buy!

A candle that cost ten dollars was broken from the base before I ever opened it. There's not much you can do with it once that happens.

Read a ton of reviews claiming their candle was broken when they received it. Mine came perfectly intact.
