This is not accurate, I've used it about 10 times now , and every time the steaks are still bloody red, the light is flashing red, indicating well done, but they are not even medium. I'm going back to the look and poke method.

Maybe mine is defective. Only used it twice and the steak didn't cook correctly either time. I just gave it as a gift for a birthday so I wasn't able to return it in the time frame. Now I am left with a product that I think I would like but doesn't work.
