Perfect In Loud Truck
by Mark (5 out of 5 stars)
October 7, 2016

I needed to protect my ears from the very large and loud Mac Truck I drive all day. I also got tired of regular blue tooth ear pieces that were too quiet to hear my family while I was driving. I started shopping for noise canceling technology that I could use as head phones and listen to streaming radio and audio books while I drive. I read all about every device I could find. Made my choice, and these babies are AWESOME. I can hear my wife when she calls, I can listen to very clear music, I can do audio books. All of which make me much more patient with all the other drivers and I'm enjoying life much much more. I thank these people for creating such a trouble free product. The control functions are simple and work better than any of the ear pieces I've owned. Phone calls interrupt gently like a gradient, then the audio book or music resumes right where I left off. I have to say I got more than I thought I paid for at that price. Used them for about 3 weeks now. I charge them all night, they're good for at least 10 hours the next day. I forgot them in the truck one night, they charged right up in no time the next morning. I'm very happy.

Ok but by no means the best. Not worth $47 when you can get much better for under $40.

I wanted to give these a 5 star but I dont want anyone to spend more money to get less out of their headphones. I've owned several Ausdom M04 headsets (one I got for my bf, one I got for myself but someone stole them then I bought another pair and the port door broke off so I returned them) and this is my first pair of M06's. I LOVED my Ausdom M04's and was looking at the Ausdom ShareMe's but these were SameDay shipping so I spent the extra $10 thinking they MUST be better than M04, they're M06 and they're more expensive. WRONG. While my BF was able to find the equalizer for Apple Music on the iPhone 4s that I use as an iPod, my iPhone 6s Plus doesn't seem to have the ability to do this with any other streaming app. Pandora and Microsoft Groove sound Not So Great because of the base. This is basically all base and all the other noise in the background of music while the treble is incredibly low and washed out. They just don't sound right. The awesome base and clarity I got with the M04's I don't get with these but I dont feel like dealing with ANOTHER return through Amazon (this system is the worst anymore) so they're acceptable enough to keep but man I wish I had just saved the money and went with the ShareMe's or the M05's. I was even looking at the M08's but at this point I'm scared that spending more with Ausdom means getting less. I swear by the M04's and M04s', do yourself a favor and buy yourself a pair of those and skip on these.

Decent quality that leaks out
by Reviewify Mark (4 out of 5 stars)

I was kindly give a pair of M06 headphones to review. These are a decent set of low cost, no frills, headphones.

You get the headphones, charging cable and aux cable, but no carry case or bag.

They're well padded and comfortable to wear, they stay firmly in place without acting like a vice on your head.

There are controls on headphone so you don't need to take our your phone, note these only work in Bluetooth mode, while you can use these powered down via the included aux cable you won't be able to use the controls.

The charging port has a flappy plastic cover that's rather annoying, in an odd design decision the aux in port doesn't have any sort of cover.

I've tried to demonstrate in the video review that these leak sound a fair bit, it'll be far less noticeable in an area with lots of background noise.

Decent set of headphones considering the low price.

These are a comfy, light, convenient, and an OK sounding set of headphones.

Build and Design

These headphones are able to look very sleek, while not attracting too much attention. They are all black, and feature a very nice brushed aluminum looking finish on the sides. They are very light, and that is due in part to the plastic design. They are made of hard plastic all around, and while it does keep the weight down, it does make the headphones feel a bit more fragile, and some people on amazon have written about the plastic breaking at the hinges. In my opinion, these will hold up just fine as long as you aren't too aggressive with them.

Comfort

These headphones are incredibly comfortable. They have a very thick headband, and well shaped earcups that squeeze your head very little, if at all. That does mean however that they are a bit more likely to fall off while moving around quickly. The M06's also have a bit of padding on the inside of the earcups, in case your ears are large enough to come in contact with the drivers. The earcups have a full range of swivels and adjustments, and fit very well around the ears. I had no problems whatsoever with wearing them for extended periods of time, and if that is what you're looking for, you will pleasantly suprised.

Sound Quality

By far, the most important things about any pair of earphones, headphones or speakers. Most of the reviews I saw on amazon and youtube say that these sound amazing, and I believe that most average consumers will as well. From the perspective of somebody who uses monitoring headphones and high end speakers however, the M06's don't sound that great. To be blunt, the reviewers who gave these a 5/5 for sound are either biased because of the fact that they received them for free, or simply because they have yet to use great sounding equipment. The bass is very present, and these do sound decent for EDM and other bass-heavy genres. The mids and highs on the other hand are muddled, and don't sound as clean as they should. For watching YouTube videos, movies, TV shows and gaming, these will be good enough; just don't expect to be blown away. I've heard better at under this price point, but also worse from more expensive pairs.

Bluetooth, Battery Life, Controls.

These headphones use Bluetooth 3.0 but it doesn't seem to matter, given how long these are still able to last on a single charge. They will last well over 16 hours, which means that you are very unlikely to find yourself with a pair of dead headphones. Even if you do, they come with an included 3.5mm cable, allowing you to use them as a standard pair of headphones. They microphone does not work in this situation however. The wireless range on these are great, and you will have no problems at all if you are in the same room as your source. A total of six control buttons are found on the bottom of the headphones, including play/pause, power, volume +/-, and forwards/backwards buttons. Some of them have small bumps on them, making them easy to distinguish from one another.

Other Pros/Cons
-Good noise isolation
-Minimal sound leakage.
-Connects quickly to bluetooth devices
-They packaging for these suck, and it left an impression on one of my earcups (look at photos

below.)
-The 3.5mm port is facing sideways, which is kind of awkward when the cable is plugged in.
-Charging port is difficult to access
-Indicator light is facing forwards, and is really bright. Distracting in the dark.
-Cables are cheap, although it is expected at this price point.

These bluetooth headphones aren't perfect. They are however, a great step up from your standard earbuds, and offer a ton of convenience for those who don't want to deal with cables. The battery life is fantastic, and the comfortability is definitely the strongest reason I would want to purchase these headphones. They will sound good enough for most people, but not for those coming from more flat sounding headphones. After all, these headphones are pretty inexpensive, and serve up a considerable amount of value here. If you are looking for a pair of headphones to use over extended periods of time or if you enjoy bass heavy music, these will serve you well.

I was given this product to review, but my opinions were not influenced in any way.

Great functionality, sound and comfort, but cheap quality.
by Christopher S. (3 out of 5 stars)

Sound is really good for the price. The bluetooth works amazingly. They are comfortable to wear. The phone microphone works very well since my girlfriend on the phone could not notice I was walking down Broadway in SOHO NYC, which is a noisy street (that's an understatement).

I can't use them anymore because they quickly broke. The adjustment sliders are made of plastic, which is what broke. They shouldn't break if you are careful with them, but if you're the type to take them with you in a backpack, or fall asleep with your headphones, or bring them on flights, I would suggest something stronger.

Another issue is these are not pretty.

I wish these didn't break because I loved using them.

Great value for cost.

Pros:

Very good bluetooth headphones overall.

I am using these headphones strictly to stream surround sound from my home theater

receiver and they sound much better then the cost and comparable to $200 models

I listened to. The build quality is quite good as well and these are lightweight but well made

headphones.

Pairing these with my receiver was a breeze and I have had no issues with lag either.

Con:

I do not know why companies insist on putting the blinking LED Indicator on the front

of earpieces other then the designers may not wear eyeglasses.

Well I wear eyeglasses and have no choice but to see the reflective LED Indicator on the left ear piece

reflecting off of my left eyeglass and these are anti-reflective lenses. Not blinding but distracting well

watching TV or reading.

If you have this issue with the LED Indicator reflecting off the left eyeglass lens you could do

one of two things I tried.
1. Place a drop of drop of black modelers paint over the LED Indicator hole.
I know when they are powered on or off thanks to audio cues. (This is how I ended up going.)

or

Just put the headphones on with the ear pieces worn reversed. As I control volume through

my receiver I have not had to bother with the headphones after initial setup.
2. Pretty comfortable but a 1/4" more padding would not hurt in the area where the headphone rests on

the top of ones crown.

Good product and superior support.

These headphones are very comfortable to wear, the sound is good and the set up / pairing is a breeze. I was having a problem pairing them to a different Bluetooth transmitter and I had to reach out to their tech support people. They answered my email in less than a day and were very supportive providing solutions. I was the problem, not the headphones. I was not holding the power button down long enough for the headphones to go into pairing mode. So when I said that pairing is a breeze,it really is provided you do a long press and watch the little l e d change colors.

Great headphones with great customer support.

Ok, so I happened upon this set of headphones over at CNET and liked what I read of the review there and also a promo price of $10 off. I am not a fan of ear-buds and my current true noise cancelling headphones, Jabra C820s do not have bluetooth and the wired connection makes a loud crackling noise when moved around so I decided it was time to CUT THE CORD. So I ordered these headset site unseen and I am very happy that I did! These headphones sound amazing! The best bass I have heard in a set of headphones. Not overly bass and not boomy bass, just crisp, clear bass. They are very comfortable to wear for extended periods of time. The seller contacted me by email before they even arrived to tell me the correct way to pair them with my devices so that I would not be frustrated when they arrived. I followed the email instructions that were sent to me and had them paired to my iPod touch and playing music in a matter of seconds. I am no audiophile and I do have a touch of Tinnitus in both my ears, but I can still hear good enough to know what I like the sound of and these sound fantastic and even better: NO MORE WIRE!

Note: I am not a paid reviewer and I do not get free product to test for reviews. I spent my own hard earned money for these headphones and I am glad I did. I would buy them again and I have recommended them to family and friends.

Still great after a year of day to day use in gaming, exercise, and just jammin in loud places.
by Daniel (5 out of 5 stars)
April 7, 2019

I used these headphones when exercising, playing billiards, and gamed with them for 3 months.

It's noise cancelling at louder volumes, but at softer volumes just enough sound leaks to hear if someone's calling your name.

I've had them for a year, the battery life is great, the connection is great(I can walk on the other side of a bar and still jam), and the sound quality is phenomenal for the price. They're comfortable, durable, everything I needed in bluetooth headphones.

In the year I've had them, I charged them maybe every three days, and only used the cable when the battery died once. I also used them to play games ranging from war thunder to rainbow six after my main headphones broke, and these worked so well to the point I didn't bother getting my headphones fixed for months.

second year in and both sides snapped at the expansion slide parts. both due to heavy abuse, falling off while riding my bike and due to excessive headbanging. two zipties later they're still going strong. Finally got around to getting new headphones, they broke in 6 months again, but these Ausdoms are still going strong.

Not bad for the price, Got a year's use out of it.

This is a review after using this product for a year, and having it die on me. So this review will come in handy for those who have a similar use case as I do. This headphone was used almost everyday since i bought it.

The Good:

Sounds great with a little equalization, nice bass. Not overly bassy, but just enough for casual listening. It also has a nice sound stage, so overall the sound quality is nice.

It's comfortable, and does not hurt my ear after long periods of use like my audio-technica m40's.

Battery life is about a week or more given how you use it, my use periods are about 4-6h per day. Volume about 50%.

Gets pretty loud, with little distortion. ( this depends on how you listen to your music)

The Not so good:

Build quality is not the best, it's a bit on the cheaper side of plastic construction. But hey, it's not very expensive, so I won't dwell on that too much.

So where did it fall apart for me?
1) Well about a week ago, the bluetooth started giving some problems coming on. Sometimes i would hear a loud "beep" and static, or the sound of the woofer inside moving, similar to a sine wave. But after a few tries on and off , it would start working like normal. But today, it's gone completely. Just static when i turn the bluetooth on, and it wont connect to any devices. It still works hard wired though, so my guess is that the bluetooth chip inside bit the dust.
2) The sides where the headband adjustments are broke, so now there is no clicks and the headband moves freely up and down. Not a overly huge issue for me. And i'm sure that this could be prevented with better care. I stored my headphone in a pouch, in my bag.

I waited this long to make a review because i used the product throughly. Would I recommend? Sure.
