I am always losing my keys. My husband suggested I always leave them in the same spot, but that is too hard for some reason. I need an aid. Normally, I use the Pet Loc8tor, but that is very expensive. For the past three weeks, I've been using the Veetop Key Finder. The tags are larger than my other locator, just a little smaller than the key fob for the car's alarm. The remote doesn't tell me if I'm getting hotter or colder, but the tags have a louder beep, and I find my keys just as easily. Just push the button on the remote that corresponds to the tag you want to find.

If you think I might just lose the remote, well that's never been a problem. It comes with a little stand and that is enough to prompt me to return the remote to the stand whenever I use it.

Saves me a few minutes and a lot of frustration

Sometimes I leave my keys in a pocket of some jacket I wore the previous day and spent quite a bit of time hunting for them. No more! This key finder works very well saving me a bit of time.

The range of the key finder is excellent I left the keys on one floor and took the key finder to another floor and could still hear the beeps. There are four color coded receivers, and one transmitter with 4 color coded buttons. All 4 buttons sound the same,

The transmitter runs on two AAA batteries (not included) and each of receivers runs on one CR2032 battery (included). The package also includes a little stand for the receiver, so it is easy to see the transmitter and I don't have to spend time looking for it.

The receivers are a little larger than I expected: 2" x 1 3/8" x 1/4". They have an eyelet that make it possible to hang them on a key chain. I keep my house key and my car key on two different key chains I am carrying two of these in my purse. In the two weeks since I attached it already saved me a few minutes and a lot of frustration.

What could be better? I would have liked receivers to be smaller.

No more misplaced keys!

I like this key finder, the colors are bright and easy to see. Inside the box are four colored receivers that you can attach to your item using the included split key rings, or one of the four round, double sided stick-on tabs. You will need 2 AAA batteries to power the transmitter (Batteries not included), each of the four receivers use 1 CR2032 battery which are included.

The transmitter has four buttons on the front with a picture of a key matching the color of one of the receivers. When you lose an item just press the button on the transmitter and you will hear a loud beeping from the matching receiver. These work great and are very loud as well. Joking around we wondered if attaching one of these to kids at the mall would make them easier to find if they took off, lol like beeping your cars remote in a crowded parking lot,...I told my husband I could sneak one in his jacket pocket and press the remote as he walked through the security door at the store, I wouldn't do that but I loved the look I got from him when I said I might. :D

The transmitter has a small flashlight located on the end, which makes it even nicer. The On/Off switch for the light is located on the side and the light is bright enough to make your way around the inside of a dark house. There is also a nice docking stand for the transmitter. The stand and the transmitter are small enough to keep on a counter or next to the bed. This entire set is very nice and would be an excellent gift for an older parent, or anyone that easily loses track of important items. I plan on attaching one to our garage door remote control, another to my car keys, and keep the other two as back ups.
