Honestly one works and the other one works whenever it decides its ready.... it may take all night.... it may not happen sometimes. The one that works is a wonder though, it's vibrant, colorful, attention-grabbing.... but the one that doesn't leaves one hand to shame. Wish I had a better experience...

My uncle's birthday present

I bought these for my uncle for his birthday. One of his favorite things to do is drum. When he recieved them he of course tried them out and told me they were pretty cool and he had never seen drumsticks that light up like that. And my purpose in buying these was to make him happy. Mission accomplished. I am rating 4/5 stars because batteries for these things are a pain to find and I'm sure they could have been designed with USB charging.

I purchased these drum sticks for a cardio class that uses drumsticks. I purchased them about month ago. I have used the drumsticks for approxately 30 hours at this point, and they still work perfectly! The colors are bright! The drumsticks are very durable! The class is a blast, but these drumsticks make it even better!!

My percussionist son loves these sticks. Review have stated that they were finicky and didn't work, however my 11 year old play with them several times a week and has had them since Christmas and they work great. He plays them on our floors, on his drums, on the couch...they work great. However, his band teacher said they were a distraction at school....so he just uses them for practice at home.

I was using these for a performance with some students at a school wide assembly. Two days before the performance, I changed the batteries just to make sure they lit up like they were supposed to. I got the right batteries, but the sticks barely worked. I had to hit my drum really hard to get them to light up, hard enough that my arms were sore after running through the cadences twice.

Great concept. Batteries are tough to get out of the electronics. Thin cheap electrical connector. The metal battery terminal on one broke off at some point and are made out of near paper thin metal. Need a better battery holder that allows the batteries to be removed and doesn't

Arrived. One worked. One did not. Tried to get the head off to change batteries. Ha! Yeah right. You must remove two tiny, eyeglass type Phillips screws on so ridiculously tight you'll strip it or stab yourself before you do. Useless! Shame on this company. Who designs this crap? Otherwise, I already have plenty of drumsticks.

Saw other reviews about only one stick working and decided to give it a shot anyways. Dumb decision on my part, only one stick works perfectly, and the other is a pos that works 10% of the time. Don't bother with these guys, there are better ones out there.

WOW! These are really cool! My son has an electric drum set and these sticks put on a great show in the dark! They came relatively quickly and we have all enjoyed them!
