For millennials who want to pick fightsby Jamie Miller (1 out of 5 stars)

I'll preface this by saying I love party games, especially games such as Cards Against Humanity. I have a good sense of humor and am not easily offended. I picked this game because I thought it would be sort of a quicker/easier version of CAH, something that could be casually played while having drinks at home with friends. My husband and I are 43 and we first tried playing with his daughter and her boyfriend, who are 23. They thought the questions were mean and I didn't relate to half of them, as I'm too old to use hashtags and/or take selfies (never have, never will). We tried again this past Friday night with old friends and at one point we all looked at each other like, "WTF? Do they want us to pick fights with each other?" and put the cards back in the box for me to return today. Though I bought with Prime, I have to pay $6 return shipping, but I hate this game so much I'll gladly pay it to get it out of my house.

In some ways I don't think the rating I gave it is fair since I don't think I am the intended market, age-wise. I think it would be fun for a group of people who know each other really well and are somewhere in the 15-25 year old age range. Also, forewarn anyone who is too sensitive about themselves - they should opt out.
We ended up devolving into a game where we only pulled out cards we liked, read them, and shouted out who we thought represented the card. About 10% of the cards are ridiculous if you are over 30.
We do like to party but the cards were stupid

Just bought this to add to my collection of adult games. Wish I could return it-stupid game I guess the title says it all. We do like to party but the cards were stupid. Worst purchase ever. I don't recommend it all unless you truly are stoned then maybe the cards might seem funny.
The Perfect Party Game

Drunk, Stoned, or Stupid is not just a game to bring to a party. It is the life of the party! Each card is perfect for someone in the group, and you get to hear your friends tell hilarious stories as they battle to be the one not to keep the card. But the best part about playing this game is the personal element that it adds to game night, which is unlike any other game I have played. Everyone is engaged as they think about the different people sitting around them and, better yet, creatively defend themselves from racking up too many cards that might strike a little too close to home.

This game was a HUGE success. It was played at a party of drunk college students and by the time we finished everyone was asking me to bring it back to the next party. I recommend this game is best for young people (teens-mid 20s) that all know each other pretty well. Great for a party session where people can come in and out, people don't have to do much to jump in. I think at our lowest we had 5 people and at our greatest we had 15. Here is how the game is played:
Original Instructions: Someone is a judge, picks a card, and passes it to the person on their left. That person reads the card, then accuses someone in the group that it is most like. The group has a minute or so to talk, then the judge finally decides who it goes to. The person who has 7 cards loses.
How we played: Someone is a judge, reads the card, and accuses someone in the group. Everyone in the group may now have time to argue the person they think it is, but the judge selects in the end who gets the card. Every time a player reaches 7 they lose, and we played until we had the last 3 people standing. So instead of the typical round of the judge and the accuser, we just had the judge be the accuser.
Our instructions allowed more people to get talking and a lot of people owned up to it which was always hilarious. Honestly, I am not sure if it would work with every group because I could see some people getting offended by it. If your friends all make fun of each other, and more importantly themselves, this is a great game for them.
UPDATE: I am still playing this game. In my primary group of friends we still have yet to get all cards (we have probably played about 10 times) and has had success in all new groups I bring it to. I highly recommend this game!

Bought this as a Yankee Swap (White Elephant) gift and it was a big hit! We wound up playing it that night and it was a lot of fun.
My only complaint is that I feel this would be hard to replay, since most people tend to play games with the same group of friends. I think this would be a really good game in a college setting or for someone who has several different groups of friends.
We had a great time playing it, but it will be awhile before we break it out again.

This is ridiculously funny! Stumbled across it at a local bar, glanced through the cards with a friend while laughing our butts off, then had it on my doorstep a few days later, along with the expansion pack. It's too funny to pass up. Even better? You can play the expansion pack on its own, although you'll have a lot more fun with all of the cards in play. Get in on this before too many more expansion packs come out and you're having to play catch-up. You'll have hours of fun with your friends, over and over again.

This is definitely a fun game for those who are close in a group or have a group of fun people that can take a funny joke. Some cards are SAVAGEly hilarious yet even when you receive a card it is funny because you probably know it belongs to you. We made it into a 21+ drinking game that every time you received a card you had to take a drink and there were even times where we just raised the card and it turned into a never have I ever (would ever) and everyone who would or had already done it had to take a drink! Very fun and brings a lot of laughter. I've played with my closest of friends who all knew each other really well and also played with a group where not everyone knew each other as well or maybe only a few in the group did, but was still a fun bonding way to enjoy and laugh together. I give it 4 stars only because depending on the group size and how much you love it, the cards can be finished fairly quickly and if you play again (and again) it can get a little boring (and sad/funny) to see (and receive) the same cards! over all very entertaining and can be a great icebreaker to a group!

A group of friends comes over Saturday nights for drinks and games. We originally kicked it off with cards against humanity, since then I've accumulated somewhwre around 10 similar games. This one doesn't disappoint! Be sure to play with people that are thick skinned, otherwise there's going to be some butt hurt happening. Get some friends together that can take a joke and you'll be laughing your ass off!

Hated these cards. The questions are dumb. They may be okay for people in their teens or 20's, but not for older people. I played with my parents and they didn't even understand half the questions, because they don't use social media. Many of the other questions were completely irrelevant to all of us. I don't think drinking or being drunk would make this game any better. Don't waste your money. I'm sending this game back if I can.
