This is very cute and it's great that it's metal. The drinks are much better because they become much colder. However, the lid is extremely hard to get on and off. Not sure why. The hat comes off to become a salt holder for rimming the glasses. The part that is left has nothing to get a good grip on. 5 people tried and we ended up spilling some of the drink. I am hoping that over time it will get broken in and become easier to open.

I use this shaker more than any other shaker I own. It fits well in my hands and just looks so darn cute! This Shaker also holds plenty of liquid so you can make several drinks at once. Everything has a good seal on it but it's not so tight that I ever have an issue with opening it after shaking it for a prolonged period as I occasionally do with other shakers. Finally, I like to use this shaker a ton because it is very easy to clean.

Not easy to use! The ring of the hat makes it uncomfortable to shake. It also arrived with some brown gunk on the inside? Not sure if it was rust or ??? Looks good so might make a good piece of art at the bar.

This is the best cocktail shaker I've ever owned! It's made of a solid stainless steel and it's really sturdy. I believe you can put it in the dishwasher, but it's just as easy to wash it out after you use it and it'll be ready for you next time! I LOVE the design of it - it's super cute. The hat/top part of it is wonderful: if you take it off and turn it over, you can use it as a measuring cup -- no need to grab another shot glass to measure out your ingredients! There are SO many great features of this item:

Pros:
- The lid and base are tight when put together -- and doesn't leak when you shake it
- It's easy to open and close. I had no issues with it getting stuck or being 'too tight'
- When pouring your drinks into glasses, it does NOT leak all over the counter
- The top hat can double as a measuring cup - no need for extra items to clean up when finished
- It holds a LOT of fluid -- 22oz -- which is a good amount of drinks
- When adding ice before shaking, you feel it getting cold and chilling your drinks

I sort of felt like a professional bartender tonight when I made my chocolate martini and it was fun! I've been wanting to purchase a cocktail shaker for quite a while and I'm so glad I ran across this one. I received this product at a discount in exchange for an honest review. Overall, I LOVE this and would definitely recommend it to anyone! Not only does it work great and not leak - just the look of it is a great topic starter.
