It's fun but expensive and rather hard to set up as the pot has a tendency to drop onto the base unless you are very careful.

love love love. It was smaller than I anticipated but just as the specs were described. I would've bought them again regardless.
Doesn't work and very BAD customer service

The Lyfe is a very bad product for a number of reasons, which is a shame because the design is gorgeous and the materials excellent.
However the quality leaves a lot to be desired - which is not surprising, I suppose, given that this is born from a Kickstarter project. Immediately after I got home, the product stopped working. It'd rock back and forth without making a full rotation. I contacted support, which told me in fact that they consider this normal. They don't guarantee the nature of the movement of the planter.
This is incredulous given that all the descriptions on its website point out how its 360 degree rotation supposedly promotes plant growth. Nowhere do they say the planter may not rotate normally, and they'd consider this normal.
After a few days, I noticed the Lyfe Planter has stopped moving altogether. Yes, it still levitates. But you'd hardly know it since it doesn't rotate at all. When I contacted support this time, they didn't even bother returning my multiple emails! Needless to say, they aren't replacing or repairing my product.
So great looking product... if only it worked, or if support offered any support at all.
Stable and silent. Excellent initial impression.

I've only owned this for a few days, but all my initial concerns went away after unboxing.
-The planter only takes a minute of practice to get it levitating. After that, it takes only a try or two.
-Once levitating, the planter is very stable. You can spin it and push it around easily and it takes quite a bit of force to knock it out of levitation. When that does happen, it just sticks to the base. But it's never done that on its own. It requires you to push it off center with more than minimal force.
-The unit is silent. No electrical hum or any other noises.
their price is alot more but I loved their modern look

I purchased this unit from the manufacturers website (actually cost more than amazon).
Compared to other levitating planters out there, their price is alot more but I loved their modern look.
First week everything was great. But after a week, the base was giving out a humming sound. Flytes customer service was excellent and sent out a new base to me. Again the first week everything was great again, but now I still noticed a humming sound (even though it wasnt as loud as the first base).
My suggestion is if you plan to put this unit in the living room, great. But if you decide to place it in your bedroom, you may hear a humming noise.
Another slight annoyance is if you get soil on the white planter, you cant just brush it off with your fingers. Youll need a wet paper towel and clean everything out with alittle effort. The soil has a tendency to cling on to the white planter.
