It's very tight, and inserting the phone is not an easy task. But it serves the purpose. Yes the position tends to block the gadgets on the dashboard, such as the speed and gas mileage, but it's not that difficult to peek over it. I don't use it every time I drive - hands free or not, it's still dangerous to be looking at the phone while driving!! It's great for map apps because it's right there at eye level.

I've been using it for a couple of days. My smartphone fits great and does what its meant for. Its position works great for me by the fact that its right in front of you all the time. This things tend to break after a lot of pulling and stretching so lets see how much it will last.

Just consider two obvious things: one, you can't attach it to the charger while using it because steering the wheel will complicate things (cable will get it between), so be prepared with full battery (gps drains a lot of battery) and two, beware of doing some texting while driving, you will get really distracted and tempted because the thing is fixed right in front of you.

For this price I recommend you give it a shot.

Very useable and reliable especially when i needed navigation on my phone, its right on my face lol.. Only thing is make sure you have your phone battery fully loaded cant charge at the same while its on this holder coz when you turn the wiring of the charger will for sure be out of track.. I will recommend it perfectly fitted on my wheels

I carry mine around with me in my purse, because it is so small, and I have 3 different cars I use between my own and work. I seriously use this all the time, and when I don't have it with me, I miss it. I love this little handy phone holder! Definitely worth the buy!

Pretty cheap, one of the pieces holding the phone in chipped about a week after I bought it. But for the price, it's a great little option for holding my phone to be hands-free. It especially helps on long road trips.

Great product. Seems small in the package but it's just compact. Holds my Samsung S4 with Otterbox perfectly. No room to spare and won't slip out! I actually installed it at the 7-8 o'clock position on the steering wheel to avoid the issues of blocking the dashboard and it's super convenient. Only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because the silicone that holds the edge of the phone in place slips off without a lot of effort (like each time I remove the phone) but it slides right back on with no problem. Definitely a great buy for the price!

The product itself is terrific. However, it blocks 90% of my view of my dash - primarily my speedometer! I didn't think of that. Duh. If you have heads up for speedometer, this would be perfect.
