I actually love the little carrier pouch
by Patricia (5 out of 5 stars)

I have been using this non-stop since receiving it. It works perfectly for my needs. It came with multiple little rubber inserts so that you can find the right fit for your ear as well as 2 sets of ear clips for more security. I actually love the little carrier pouch, it's cute and functional, not too big, not too small. Pairing was a snap. I charge it up once a day and it gives me about 5-6 hours of listening pleasure. I don't actually use it when talking on the phone; I already have a Bluetooth speaker in my car, so I cannot say how well it works for that purpose. My music comes thru loud and clear so I imagine talking on the phone would be the similar. I don't use the secondary earpiece as I prefer to keep one ear free. I love it and have recommended it to family and friends.

Good Buy - I Like It

Overall, I'm pretty pleased with this product. It works as described, and the price is certainly reasonable. The volume of the headset is good, and callers have no problem hearing me. Plenty of earbuds are included, as well a four ear loops, so you should be able to find a combination that suits your preferences. I had no trouble pairing the product with my iPhone 6S Plus. The device can be worn in either ear.

The headset is small, light and unobtrusive, and doesn't cause ear fatigue even when worn throughout the day. Standby and talk time seem to be more than adequate for my purposes (I've never run out of battery) and the headset is easily charged overnight using the included USB-to-mini-USB adapter. Note that you will need to provide a USB source for charging the device, as none is supplied and there is no transformer/adapter included. However, being an Apple user with numerous iPhones and iPads, I had several USB wall adapters, which work fine for charging the device.

I have tried the device with music (from my iPhone) and that seems to work fine (although my primary purpose is phone communication). There is an included second ear bud, which connects to the device's mini-USB connector. One would assume that this provides stereo, but other reviewers indicate that it does not; music is still mono, just heard in both ears.

The device has a limited number of clearly-spoken voice prompts for things such as power on, power off, device connected, device disconnected, etc.

There are a few minor annoyances. The device "announces" an incoming call number as, "1-234-567-8901". I find this unhelpful, as it's difficult to impossible to listen to a phone number being read off and associate it with a particular caller. It would be "nice" if the device could somehow use your phonebook to look up the number and announce the person's name! ;-)

Also, when the device is out of range of your phone (about 30' or so -- for example, you walk away and leave your phone lying on your desk) the device repeatedly announces, at about 10-second intervals, "Your device is disconnected". This is annoying; one such announcement would be sufficient to make the point. Then, when your phone and the device are back in range, it auto-reconnects and announces "Your device is connected" (once).

One other issue... when you're wearing the device in a vehicle with built-in Bluetooth hands-free link, the car's Bluetooth automatically connects to the phone, and you converse with a caller over the car's speaker and built-in microphone, as you would expect. However, when you answer a call and the car connects to your phone's Bluetooth, apparently the connection to your Mini Pro headset is temporarily lost, and you start getting the annoying, "Your headset is disconnected" messages in your earpiece -- every 10 seconds, for the entire duration of the call until the vehicle's system disconnects!

The device automatically powers down if disconnected for more than 10 minutes. The device also seems to power down when being charged, and you have to remember to manually power it on again (with a simple press of the multi-function button) in the morning. No biggie.

The instructions included are pretty simplistic, but adequate.

All-in-all, this is a good buy and I would recommend it. I don't think you'll be disappointed -- unless one of the "annoyances" mentioned above is unacceptable to you.

None of these units work outside
by jtj (1 out of 5 stars)

This is the second of these mini bluetooth headsets I have tried for listening to audiobooks. The first was a Tronify, now this one. They are both, quite obviously, a private label product from the same terrible Chinese supplier, right down to the exact same box and same set of instructions. The only difference is that this one comes with a carrying case and the Tronify did not.

I have experienced the exact same issue with this one that I experienced with my Tronify. These things hate being outside. If I'm inside, I can walk about 15 feet away without the signal breaking up. I can also put the phone in my pocket and walk around with no issues. However, the moment I step outside my front door, the signal breaks up. I have to hold the phone in my hand at shoulder height to keep the signal, which quite defeats the purpose of having wireless bluetooth headphones in the first place. It doesn't matter where in the world I am, so it's not a matter of some strange interference in one specific location. The Tronify was equally useless in Massachussets, West Virginia, Kentucky, and Virginia. I won't be keeping this one long enough to try using it in multiple states, but I think it's a safe bet that it will perform the same.

I have also tested it on two different phones and gotten the same results. I've used it with my newer LG G5 as well as a Galaxy S5. Exact same result with both phones, so it is the receiving unit that is causing the problem not the transmitting phone.

The only positive thing I can say about this unit is that it comes with a nice little case. I won't be keeping a defective piece of junk just for a tiny case that I could pick up at Dollar Tree, though.

Edit: The manufacturer contacted me and asked if I would be willing to try a replacement unit. They sent me a new one fairly quickly, but that's the only good thing I can say about the experience. The housing on the replacement unit fell apart right after I took it out of the box. I reassembled it, but it had no interest in staying together. A bit of superglue later and we have an assembled unit again. However, this unit experiences the exact same signal loss outside that both the Tronify and the original Axgio experienced. Cheaply-made pieces of junk from the same Chinese supplier. If ever want to venture outside with your phone, try something else. Sadly, I'm already at one star, so I can't deduct another star for my experience with the replacement unit.

Note: I PAID FOR THIS MYSELF! NOT a review freebie!

Review summary: Excellent product, and at an excellent Amazon price.

Packaging: Very compact but nice and secure. Picture at Amazon shows everything except that some items (such as extra ear plug covers) are packed into what has to be the world's teeniest ZipLock-type baggies. (Cool!)

Storage: The black container with the red stripe looks very nice - resembles wife's expensive Beats headphone holder - only smaller. It also has a mesh in one side to hold less-often-used accessories, a nice touch.

So far works really well. I usually have difficulty with earbuds, but this one, especially using an included over-the-ear clip, stays in place rather well. I used the default cover, it was fine. The over-the-ear clip is very adjustable, can use for either ear.

Instructions: Basic but clear and adequate. Only minor error I found was when pairing, my iPhone's new Bluetooth entry says "mini pro" rather than the manual's "Mini 4.0". No big deal since it is the next new entry anyway, so you can't miss it.

The tech in this tiny thing is amazing. It has some voice prompts (don't know how many yet) that are very clear. It accepts your voice prompt when it asks you to accept or reject a phone call. It shows a battery charge indicator on your iPhone: a tiny battery next to the Bluetooth symbol shows charge remaining.

Please be aware I got this to listen to podcasts when working around the house, so I really couldn't do a good review about its music fidelity. I did try some music and it seems fine for such a tiny device. Just to test it, I did try the extra earpiece to test its stereo: it worked, was comfortable, and the small wire running to the second earbud turned out to not to be a problem - I could easily forget I had it on.

It certainly appears to be of good quality, but I have not had this long enough to test durability or even battery life - have not worn it long periods yet. Still getting used to the multifunction button, not used to those, but don't see a problem with it.

I did check out their website; it didn't really seem to be set up to support this product.

To get this much tech at practically a throw-away price makes it a no-brainer purchase. If it were to fail in a year or two - I'd just buy another.

Very pleased.

Great, but...

I do not usually try earbuds. I served for 20+ years in the Navy as an engineer and wore hearing protection most of my career. Ear buds do not stay in my ears. My navy hearing protection was either triple flange ear buds or the over the ear (Mickey Mouse) kind. I tried these because triple flange was an option. I am glad I did. They are great because when I cut the grass I wear these under my mickey mouse ears and because they are so small there is no pressure from the other hearing protection, (which are worn over these) while I am cutting the grass. The only reason why I do not give 5 stars is my battery life has not been what is advertised. I put them on after fully charging them overnight and they die before I finish cutting my grass. While cutting grass I only listen to music, no phone calls. It takes from 2 hrs to 2:15 to cut my grass. I use an app to track my steps with a timer so I know my time is accurate. I have used them twice and they have quit at the 1:45 and 1:50 respectively. I may choose to buy another set since they are much less than most others I have seen.

Why oh why was I spending nearly $100 on bluetooth headphones all these years? I have an old loud diesel truck and phone conversations are clear on both ends. I'll have an hour long conversation with them, not charge them for a week and they'll still have enough charge to deal with another hour long call...I haven't let them go longer than that without a charge but I consider that to be outstanding performance. I haven't tried using the other piece for dual audio but I would like to note that with the crossover cable connected the microphone is facing away from my mouth...I'm not sure how this would affect a phone call this way but for listening to music it works just fine.

Seriously, for $16 I'll probably buy a couple more for if/when they fail...besides, you get a cool little case with every purchase ;-)

Good for the price

I bought this mainly for listening to music without all the wire fuss and to be somewhat discrete about it.

I tested it the first day I got it, from powering it on until it shut off, I played music nonstop on it at a modest volume. It lasted around 3.5 hours. Haven't tried it at full charge yet, but anything 3 hours or more is good. I will try to do a full charge to shut off time test later. I don't expect it to go to 5 hours. I am guessing 5 hours = best result from a batch of these at lowest volume setting in a good enclosed room. Realistically it's probably 4, but what the hey, you shouldn't be listening to music through an earbud that long anyways.

Others stated that the audio gets choppy if you move around and that is true, but only sometimes. Might be the environment. Enclosed somewhat small room or hallway, no problem. Outside in the open where BT waves fly all over the place, probably will encounter some connection issues. It also depends how far away it is from your phone.

I left it in my room and walked out roughly 10-15ft and still had my music playing fine, but deep inside my pocket in a large office walking around briskly, I got a few stutters.

Easy to use imo, only thing I haven't really done was look to see if I can skip songs using the headset. I probably can, but I was too lazy to look through the manual.

Comes with all the accessories shown which is nice, don't really need them but some may.

For exercising get an actual wireless sports headset/earphones for that, this is for light movement/stationary settings. I could probably work out with this excluding running outside, but there are better alternatives.

Fitment is whatever, not good not bad, if you don't move too much, it stays on without anything, if you do, ear hook restricts how deep the bud is in your ear; for me it barely touches my canal. Differs from person to person.

Overall, it's less than $20 and can play music for at least 3 hours. I haven't tried calling but that's not the intended purpose for me.

Innovative design, great value, decent sound and fit. Would definitely buy again!

The first unit I received was defective. The wired assistant earbud did not work, so only sound came out of the main earbud. The replacement unit works well so far. Most often I just use the main earbud. The flexibility of using one or both is awesome. The main earbud fits well, and easily stays in my ear. The sound is good. The size feels quite small when it is in my pocket, making me worried about losing it. In my ear though, I wish it were a little smaller. It looks a little funny sticking so far out of my ear. Starting and pausing music (or audiobooks) with the unit connected to my Android phone is easy, with just a click of the large button on the side. Changing the volume using the unit is also easy, but unfortunately must cycle all the way to the highest volume to get to a lower volume. Also, I wish the lowest volume were a little lower, but the loudest volume is quite loud. So far battery life has been pretty good, easily getting through many listens throughout the day. The unit also charges quite quickly. I find myself listening to music and audiobooks a lot more, as it is so convenient to just pop in my ear and listen for a couple minutes whenever I need to kill a little time. While there are a few small things I wish were a little better, for the price this cannot be beat. I would definitely purchase these earbuds again.
______________update______________________

The secondary earbud of the replacement unit stopped working after just a couple weeks. I contacted the seller (not Amazon) and they sent out a replacement immediately with zero hassle. It arrived with 2 secondary earbuds(in case one gets broken or lost) and more earbud tips. So far the replacement has been great (although my main earbud is black and they informed me they would have to send me a white replacement). These are my favorite Bluetooth headphones. I use them every single day. Often it's great to just have only one in, when I need an ear open, but it's great to be able to add the second earbud when I can block both ears.

Buyer Beware!

This thing was absolutly useless it would not turn on nor would it pair with my iPhone 6Plus. I tired everything that I found on trouble shooting this devise and it said the product was most likely defective. I had read some comments on others feed back that said the same thing. So I broke down and spent $70 for a set that I know will work as my best friend uses the ones I purchased and I have paired them with my phone amdnhusnworks great on my phone. So again good luck if you buy these as I believe some of the feedback may have been given as a promotion or for a free item. But again they wouldn't power up nor pair with my devise I could t even get it into pairing mode. I charged them and the red light never turned blue. It says they charge I about an hour and a half and they did not charge in 2 hours so I figured they were defective. Also they were in a box but the case was not wrapped in plastic which makes me believe they must have been a set that was returned and they shipped a used pair to me and I paid for a new pair. Buyer Beware!!

I highly recommend the Mini Pro Bluetooth Earbuds by Axgio.

August 20, 2015

Overview: The Mini Pro Bluetooth Earbuds by Axgio are great. They have really good connectivity, stay connected for over 3 meters from both my laptop and my cellphone. Audio is a very good about 9/10 for clarity. It sounds very clear with good highs, mids, and lows. great mic which can pick up my voice in normal talking mode (don't have to raise your voice at all).

Pros:
* Comes with 10 different sizes of eartips so you're sure to get a comfortable fit, I sometimes forget I am wearing it.
* Secure, Never in danger of falling out of ear - even when running on treadmill.
* Very nice case included.
* Battery, 5-6 hours of music listening on a single charge (about 1 hour to charge).
* Easy pairing, Bluetooth connected easily with both my laptop and my cellphone.
* Good Range, Stayed connected for over 3 meters from both my laptop and my cellphone.
* Sound, Sound is great.
* Charge Cable is micro USB cable same as my Cellphone and most other devices I own.

Cons:
* Only Mono, even when you connect the second earpiece, it only splits the Mono -- no Stereo.

Final analysis: I always base my opinion on any bluetooth headphones on my HV-800 Neckband style headphones (which are the best I have tested thus far, I own 4 pair) and Amazingly, the Mini Pro Bluetooth Earbuds by Axgio are very Comparable. the HV-800 battery lasts around 6-7 hours - the Mini Pro last 5-6 hours (they both charge in about an hour), the HV-800 sound is a 9/10 and so are the Mini Pro, the HV-800 IS stereo, the Mini Pro is only mono. But the Mini Pro has a better range than the HV-800, which is good for about 1 meter compared to the 3 meters I found the Mini Pro to have and of course this device is quite a bit smaller. With both being priced about the same, it really comes down to what features are the most important to you. I highly recommend the Mini Pro for those who want/like the compact design, you can't go wrong with such a well made device.

Final Note: I don't get paid to review products and bought this device with my personal finances. I hope this review is helpful and feel free to contact me if you have any further questions.
