have the device for 10 days now, and this thing is too cool
When I got the device, I wanted at first to place it on top of my TV, but the power cord is about 5 feet, which was too short for me, so I ended up placing it on my media stand. I guess I can look for another power supply or extension cord, but I actually like its current location now.
Installation was pretty straight forward - I have an Android phone so I got the app on Google Play, and simply followed the instructions screen by screen. The device had my LG TV on the list, as well as my Xtreamer. It didn't have my receiver, which was a downer, but I reached out to the company and learned receiver support is coming in several weeks through a software update.
The installation ended up with a couple of videos I found helpful, teaching how to perform the gestures. While they are easy to perform and seem straight forward, they have some videos showing what to avoid, which made control smoother. I was pleasantly surprised by the small gestures - it's a lot easier and more accurate than my experience with the Kinect.
Despite some functionality missing, I enjoy what I do have, and am looking forward to receiving the next update.
Not perfect but definitely in the right direction

The Singlecue is not perfect yet, but very fun to use and explore. The immediacy of the gestures, such as volume and mute, is unrivaled. And, I have to admit I enjoy knocking guests' socks off :-).
At first I thought my Sony TV isn't controlled well, and gave support a call. They suggested I try re-positioning Singlecue, so I moved it a bit, and all of a sudden the TV worked. I did feel kind of silly for not trying it myself before calling...
Bottom line, at this point it's for folks who are willing to try out new technology. The upside is you get to enjoy it right away. The downside is not everything is in place. Personally, I prefer enjoying what this device offers now, and am willing to wait for the rest to arrive later on.

Very exciting device , it actually changing the way I operating my TV make it more easy and effortless .
While relaxing on the coach just lifting my finger and operate easily my home multimedia.
Setup:
very easy installation , took me few minutes to configure my Sony TV and my Hyundai cable box.
Operating;
take a bit a time to apprehend the finger movement but even my 3 years old son easy understand how to swipe through the options.
Overall :
Great and innovating device , I'm using it daily may be some few false detection from time to time but I believe that will be fixed in the upcoming updates.
The sensation of communicating with my TV and apple TV without having to grab a remote kind of feel

I recently purchased a singlecue. At first I had my hesitations regarding how it would connect with my TV, and how well it would work in general... To my surprise the setup was smooth (you need to download an app to your phone and it walks you through the setup). I was also concerned about the air-gestures but so far so good... it seems to work really well in my living-room.
The sensation of communicating with my TV and apple TV without having to grab a remote kind of feel like Tom Cruise in Minority Report :)
So far, I am happy with the device and recommend it to anyone that wants to make their living room a little bit more "future"
Don't do it. Maybe the next version- the idea was cool.

This thing just dosnt work nearly as easily as the commercial shows. Very difficult to the point that even my kids have said ' just use the remote, it's way faster and easier'. Sorry, I really thought it would be cool too, it's not. Furthermore, when I asked for a return, the seller said the time to return expired and I would have to contact the manufacturer. All around zero star experience. I feel ripped off, but at least you don't have to be.
My finger is now my remote control

This is so amazing. I set it up with my iphone and their app. The app synched with the Singlecue on the first try and it easily recognized my Sharp TV (not very new) and my Comcast box. The hardest part was finding a free plug. The video instructions on the app were all I used to figure out how to work it. Mostly it is intuitive. It controls my tv from my couch with my finger and it actually works really well. It is not sketchy or sort of effective. It does work and replaces my comcast remote.

I am giving Singlecue 5 stars because I love the idea and I think we all understand as early adopters there are going to be missing features and some bugs that will need to be ironed out overtime.
I have had it up and running for about 1 day but am still learning how the gestures work. The biggest problem I am having right now is controlling the set top cable box. While it "works" for basic functions like setting / changing favorites, increasing and lowering volume, I for the life of me cannot get it to mute audio when I give it the "hush" gesture. I have Time Warner Cable so the only way to configure the cable box was by using "Arris" which is the manufacture of the box. While the front of the box reads model "DCXxxxxx" it will not work when I select that option. I have to chose IPC Series Video Client and I get the basic functions as mentioned. I am not sure if this is why the "hush/mute" gesture is not working, its quite frustrating as this is one of the most used gestures I can see us using in our configuration.
List of features I would like to see added in the near term would be as follow, some of these are shown in the product demo video so I was surprised they are not already available.
Features
------------
1. Nest Product Line Integration
2. Chromecast Support
3 SmartThings Integration this would be HUGE for me as we are 100% smartthings.
4. Low light improvements, I understand a recent software update address some low light problems but I think there is still room for improvement.
5. App disconnects when left open and then prompts you to "re-configure" when all I do is actually "close" the app (iOS) and relaunch it and it sees singlecue again.
6. While it sees my finger gesture my 7 year old who has smaller fingers cannot get the thing to read her gestures at all. This is a big source of frustration for her because she loves the idea and wants to be part of "showing it off" and using it.
Support Related
-----------------------
1. Blog. Maybe one exists I could not find anything other than the support FAQ's
2. More Video's on how to use. Seems the 2 videos the app has are hidden on YouTube and you cannot access them once you have seen them during the setup.
3. Community Forum - Sometimes the best people to help people are the people using the device! (yes people)
4. Roadmap of features / enhancements, being in sales I know how important it is for customers to know what is coming and when.
I'll try and update and I get more time with it but in summary, If you are an early adopter and can deal with the pains and missing features I would certainly recommend this unit it has the "cool" factor. I am not sure this is for everyone yet, I cannot see my parents or in-laws using this as it will drive them bonkers until it is much more polished.
Hope this helps any future buyers.

Love it! was very easy to set up and integrate with my tv and cable box. Controlling it is very intuitive, my 6yo got it instantly...
Instruction through the app are clear and very user friendly. Looking forward to integrating additional devices.

Imagine placing your index finger on your lips and... mute! Wow, if only my kids were as disciplined as the devices controlled by SingleCue.
For several minutes I kept muting and unmuting, then calling different family members and showing them the magic of muting by gesturing.
All in all the concept of controlling my consumer electronics with hand gestures is appealing.
For the most part I was able to get things done.
The major point for improvement is doubling down on the magic of single gesture per action, like muting.
browsing menus for controlling, like it is done today is only second best.
On a different note, all in all the setup process was pretty straight forward. Minor improvements could have made it better, yet now when all is said and done... who cares.
Good V1 with promising future.I know that the device's software can be updated, and I can't wait to get the next version of software.

Positive. I have been using it for two weeks and it has become addicting (esp the mute command). Wifi updates was a great surprise as well.
