too bad I can give it zero stars. I got this as a christmas present for my daughter. She used it one day and then we left until today (1/2). When she went to connect the charger, the connector got loose. After I opened the box, the connector simply fell. The soldering was pretty much non existent.

I bought this for my daughter on Dec 23 for Christmas (luckily it arrived on time) and it was great for the first month, but now it is completely dead and because it's after the holiday return window (of January 31, 2016) I can't return it. I expected so much more from a Sharper Image product, but it was a total waste of money!

I also bought my son a wireless speaker back in July 2015 (the InaRock 10w hi-fi portable wireless speaker), and it is still working great! I so regret not buying my daughter the same product, but I thought she would like the lights the sharper image product reflects on the wall (which she did love for the 5 weeks it lasted...).

Charge port problem - Now does NOT work!

I bought this a while back and was considering giving as a gift to someone. But I ending up keeping it and just recently got it out to use. It was wonderful while it lasted - great sound & good light show, BUT something is wrong with the charging port & cannot get it to charge at all now. Tried the cable it came with and several other ones - it's the port in the speaker itself. I had problems charging it before & now can't charge at all. I have read several of the review now & see that this is a common problem. So not happy because now does NOT work at all. I would expect more from Sharper Image!!!

It may be a small speaker, but the sound that comes out of this is AWESOME! I bought this for my daughter for Christmas, she loves it. The sound that comes from the speaker sounds like a movie theater. I love the lights that shine also. I am going to be buying a couple more now that my husband and other children want one as well.

We are on our second SBT613 speaker. The first one stopped working after a month and we had it replaced. We have only had the second one for 3 weeks and it's already stopped working. Won't charge and won't turn on. Piece of junk. Buy directly from Sharper Image and maybe it will work???

Silent DULL Image - because it didn't last - Wouldn't Recommend It.

DULL Image. Worked fine for three to four week, then it stopped playing sound. Shortly thereafter, it wouldn't charge, light or do anything. Since the return period was 30 days I can't return it now. It lasted just pass the return period and never saw more than 10 hours of use. Unless seller or manufacturer wants to exchange it, it's an overprice paper weight only.

I can not find the correct cube to plug in ...

I can not find the correct cube to plug in for charging. I tried a Droid phone cube - nope, tried the iphone cube - nope, even bought a "universal" cube from Wal-Mart - nope. We used this item for as long as the original battery lasted. Can't get it to charge. Any suggestions. And, I can't send it back because we've had it too long. Bought it the last of February. It took me a while to get all of the different cubes to try. :(

You determine the volume from your music source. The bluetooth sync was very fast. The sound is loud enough for a large room. You can't turn on the music without the lights. Do the lights and music sync? I can see why there are differing answers on this. It appears so, because if you're not playing music the lights are quite a bit different. But the sync isn't like a light show.

My 7 yr old son loves this speaker. The lights are really fun and the quality and volume of the speaker are more than sufficient for his age and the size of his room. My only complaint is the wire for charging the speaker and the aux cord are way too short, making it rather awkward and inconvenient to find an outlet close enough to a table surface. Without an extension cord it would have to remain on the ground to charge. Still it's a favorite in our house.

Got this for my 7 year old daughter for Christmas. She was ecstatic to receive it, and immediately hooked up her mp3 player to it and played music with lights. It puts out a decent little light show that she was more than happy with, nothing overly fancy or complex but fills up the living room and adds to the music. The speaker sound was solid, didn't get as loud as an amazon tap for example, but at this price I don't expect it to. Gets loud enough to enjoy but not to loud that I am wishing she will turn down her music constantly.

Now for the bad, when the battery died and we went to charge it, the charger port seemed a bit loose and would not take a charge. Tried 4 different cables and power sources that all charge everything else fine but this thing would not charge. So it was solid for the two days it lasted. Perhaps we just got a bad one. Decent speaker with solid sound and basic light show, great for 15 bucks...if only it would charge!
