Great when stationary.

Ive had the Jammock 2.0 for over a month now. It does everything you could expect for a hammock mounted over the front seats. However, the price is high considering it does not do as well with the other uses that are promoted.

I dont recommend buying this if you plan on leaving it mounted all day, at least not if you own a JK. You can get it tight enough to leave on and drive when the weather is warm. Its also nice for providing a little shade but keeping the open air feel in that situation. However, it will flap a lot when you start going over 40mph and develops other issues when the weather is consistently warm.

The real issue is how it performs when the temperature varies. No matter how tightly the straps are pulled the material will sag in the middle when the temperature cools. I expected the opposite originally since soft tops losen in the heat. Regardless, the top will touch your head when this happens if the tops off or in the sunrider position. If you try to drive like this, youll get smacked on the head as you go.

Ultimately, its good for a hammock you can install when not driving or when you put the top up whenever you drive. Just dont expect much more from the product until 3.0 or later.

As a hammock, this is awesome. My girlfriend and I sat in it with our feet dangled over the windshield with our backs against the hard top. I weigh 210 and she weighs about 140. It was over the weight limit but I feel like that limit is liability reasons. It's constructed very well and it feels the part. This jammock cannot be used at a sun screen while driving. It'll flap and be auper loud no matter how tight you can get it. It would have been nice to have a storage bag with it but otherwise no complaints.

I was looking at this thing for a while... then I finally went for it... and IT IS AWESOME! If you own a Wrangler then I have to believe you possess a sense of fun and adventure that is satisfied each and every time you get behind the wheel of your Jeep. Well the Jammock is designed to compliment that lifestyle and it definitely delivers. A buddy and I tested it out last weekend and it fit us both (the 2 of us weighing in at a total 330 lbs.) It was conformable, relaxing, and kind of awesome to be lounging on-top of your vehicle, some brews in hand, and lots of envious stares (and a few double-takes, haha). If you own a wrangler then I assume you're a generally fun person. Do yourself and your lucky friends who get to ride in your Jeep a favor... pick this up and go enjoy life in the Jammock.

I absolutely love it! Really an amazing product, does exactly as advertised and feels incredibly secure and sturdy, even with almost 300 lbs in it. The only downside is that to put it on you have to take off the door surrounds(on an 03 TJ), as the buckle won't fit through the gap with them on.

Restocking/Shipping Fee to Return Item

Buyer Beware: If this does not fit your Jeep or in my Husband's case (it was all he asked for as a gift for Christmas) and he recieved 3 of them. You have to pay $10 to return each Jammock as a re-stocking/shipping fee. $20 for us. I didn't see that when purchasing the one I got for him or I would have just gotten him an Amazon gift card & saved at least $10.

This has to be one of the best purchases ive ever made. Ive used it once so far and it has already been worth it. It seem to be really good quality material; from the actual hammock to the straps. It was super comfortable to lay in with one person. Dont really see how fitting two normal sized people would work but im optimistic.

Hooked this up over the weekend for a camping trip. a nice way to relax and get a better view of everything going on around me. Watching the sun set, the river flow and deer walking the campground early. Comfortable either way you sit.
