Psygmorchis pusilla is an adorable, rare miniature orchid found in Latin America with a fan of leaves and disproportionate flower size. The whole plant is 2 inches wide at maturity with a blooming flower spike. Your Psygmorchis pusilla will grow healthy and bloom repeatedly due to the nutritional gel medium it lives in. With our special recipe gel medium, you will be able to watch your miniature orchid grow in a contained glass bottle 100% maintenance free for months or up to a year! And it gets better! Jar of Mold

I've had this for three months and it's a jar of mold. Followed the directions to a T, product is still in its original seal. Terrible.

HOWEVER--

I increased my review to 4 stars due to the customer service I received.

After this review, Orchid Gene sent me a very apologetic email. They have improved the growing medium, and he told me he would make it right. They paid for 3 day shipping, and sent me a brand new orchid, free of charge. Gene hand picked it just for me, and it was a beautiful little yellow, healthy flower.

I am very pleased by the seller response and will in fact, be buying again!

Bad news and good news on the Award Winning, Maintenance Free Orchid Terrarium - Psygmorchis Pusilla - Miniature, No Green Thumb Necessary, Great for Work, Home, Unique Gift! Restock Everyday The first I received was shipped during very hot weather, and it arrived severely heat-damaged. It was in full bloom, the flower clear yellow and about 3/4" long, but the leaves were tan already. They've continued to darken, and it doesn't look like the plant will live. I consider this the fault of USPS, the carrier, so I am not down-rating the plant.

I immediately contacted the seller. I received a prompt e-mail reply and rapid replacement. The replacement plant is lovely, a perfect miniature orchid in full bloom with a healthy looking fan of bright green leaves. There's already a second bloom stalk. I'm very pleased with it as a small, under-a-lamp plant in the den and love that it is maintenance free. I'm considering ordering one for my grandchild's office cubicle as a little touch of nature in an IT environment.

Don't be put off by fear of buying a plant on-line. Quality of second plant is high; customer service was outstanding.

Beautiful, healthy plant in vice container. Great miniature addition to my other orchid plants. Highly recommend. I have only had this plant a short time and have seen it produce 2 blooms already. Really love this plant and have ordered the same plant mounted on wood.

This is the second time I purchased on of these orchids in a container and totally love them. The second one had problems during shipping. I contacted the seller and had an immediate email response and an replacement was sent ASAP! They plants are healthy and bloom constantly. I would highly recommend this seller for all my plant needs as well as the professional way they handled their customer needs!

Remarkable so far. 5 months since delivery. Had a very nice bloom when I received it. First wilted and second bloomed in 3rd month. Second is on the way out but a new stalk has shot up in the last few days. Looks like a split at the top. Maybe 2 blooms. The leaves have developed into a nice fan almost filling the jar. The jar has always has condensation on the 2 sides farthest from my desk lamp. Every day I rotate 180 degrees and by the next morning the condensation has moved around to the other side. Not a problem. Helps keep me involved. Really a nice plant for my desk. Everyone loves it. Of course I don't let on that I don't have the green thumb that has raised it.

Had this thing for about a year. It has 3 spikes and never bloomed but it is still alive and doing well. Never opened it or put any care or thought into it. Just stuck it next to a window and ignored it for a year. If you want a nice plant but don't want to put any effort into taking care of one, this is the thing for you.

Seeing this tini orchid in the jar is amazing! There's one little bud and I can't wait to see it bloom! it came with clear instruction, but it basically tells you to leave it alone. which is fantastic for people like me who keep saying, "I have to water the plants" and then have too many other things to do.

A little bummed - signs of early death

I ordered this one as a gift because I was happy with mine (recv'd 1/8) which has since died after 1 bloom opened. I anticipated the other 3 blooms but sadly that won't happen. Anyway, the one I ordered as a gift had yellowing at day one. In a weeks time, the leaves were darkening. Sadly it didn't survive. I wish we had pulled them from the jars early. We had no way of knowing how long they had been in them. I still have hope for 2 others I ordered; no buds yet but they are still green so it can't be anything I did or didn't do.

I was skeptical at first that this would actually bloom, but it just started flowering and could not be more perfect. I gave it to my mom for Christmas and she said it's one of the best gifts she's ever received. I had issues with shipping and damage with the first plant I got, customer service was wonderful and replaced it right away.
