Sturdy and great sound

It works well as described. Had me feeling it was very durable once held in hand. Supplied carabiner and tether are durable starters that haven't warranted my personal need yet to upgrade nor replace, but depending on your personal ruggedness you can easily adjust with the ample anchors of the body.

Oh and the sound depth is so pristine through available volume spectrum, I've not noticed distortion at all. Usually not needing to really cranking it to ten even at the beach without disturbing, or ever really hearing at a neighbor distance. If you want the block to hear you or a room filling capable and quality sound, this could put up a fight.

Love the sound, craftsmanship, durability, and how it fits perfectly in my water bottle cage. A bit on heavy side, but by far, the best / deepest bass I've heard coming from a portable bluetooth speaker. I would of given them a 5th star, if the OS spoke vocal commands as opposed to playing confusing tones. Although the tones are annoying at first, I did eventually get used to them.

Have to say, I haven't ridden w/o out it since I got it lol!

In love!! The sound quality is amazing, the design is beautiful, and i love all the little features it includes, like the indoor/outdoor option, pairing with multiple speakers, and the fact it's waterproof means I can enjoy my favorite music while camping and spending time on the lake! Thanks again amazon! I highly recommend this to anyone who enjoys listening to music with the best quality possible for such a great price! :) it was packaged wonderfully in multiple boxes for safety and came with very clear and easy to read instructions. 10/10

Quality Sound and Awesome Durability

I am a snowboarder and have been looking for a durable Bluetooth speaker for a while. There are A LOT of cheaper options, but the extra money for this one is totally worth it. Not only is the sound quality AMAZING, but it doubles as a charger for my phone on the mountain if I need it. I have dropped it in the snow, dropped it down the stairs, had my dog carry it around, and use it in the shower. It still works perfectly! The color is sweet and I can use it for about 8 hours before charging it. (Not kidding, the battery on this thing is a BEAST). I have charged my phone with it as well, but it does drain the battery life (obviously).

Pros:

SOUND: The quality of this is roughly the same as my speakers for my PC at home. The volume is fantastic and with the indoor vs outdoor mode I can choose whether I want loud or bassy music.

BATTERY: I can go DAYS using this thing on and off throughout the day and not have to charge it. If I had to guess, the battery life is 8+ hours of music using Bluetooth.

CHARGE: I can use it to charge my phone via USB.

DURABILITY: This thing is TOUGH. It's got a good solid weight to it despite it having a softer feel on the outside.

COLOR: You've gotta admit, this looks pretty sweet.

Cons:

FIRST PURCHASE: I actually bought this once and then returned it. The charging my phone option was broken and did not work, as well as the speaker being blown after a few short weeks of usage. The current one I have has worked beautifully though, so it may have just been a factory error.

COST: This is a bit pricey, and the non waterproof version of this is about $100 dollars cheaper for the same sound quality.

Absolutely perfect performance. I was using it on the climbs of the Triple Bypass bike ride to break up the suffering, and it was fantastic. Lots of smiles from other riders. I didn't really get drenched, but it got a little rain with no problem. The construction is super-rugged and very well sealed. User interface is... a little weird because one button does many things, but once you figure out the press/long-press/really-long-press sequences it is fine. Pairing with android phone was seamless. Fits in standard bottle cage and the rubbery outside makes it bounce-out resistant.

Superb Speaker for Cyclists

By far the Best water bottle speaker I've come across. The sound quality is superb and loud enough to hear over busy NYC street traffic without muffling the music. I'm a competitive cyclist and use this to spice up my 10 mile commutes + it acts as a safety feature for pedestrian awareness.
-Battery lasts 10 hrs (all day).
-EQ switches between indoor/outdoor with one button
-quality noise! The base thumps deep and loud!
-lighter than other models (this weights ~1 lb)
-won't slip! The rubber casing fits snuggly in majority of standard bottle cages
-highly recommend!
*I compared this speaker to Skoche's H20+ -much heavier @1.5lb and Skoche's H20 compact (pictures above) -poor sound quality 1/2the power output.

I have been using a regular Boombottle for a few years and always really loved it. But it stopped working on me, so I upgraded to this.

PROS - better sound, and you can charge stuff with it, that is nice, I also like the metal loop area on top

CONS- battery life sucks, the old one would turn off with no music pretty quickly, this seems to just stay on indefinitely draining the battery,
it is taller, and way heavier, the sound effects sucks and are annoying, its like arrow hitting a target, I guess the boss is into archery?
to turn it off, you have to hold the button down for a VERY long time. I would charge my old boombottle once every week or ten days, I've
already charged this twice and I've only had it for a few days.

If the Scosche people read this, here is some advice, press once to turn it on, press and hold for 3 seconds to turn it off, if no sound for 3 minutes, it shuts off. Right now every time I turn it off, I hold the button for what seems like forever, and I think it's off, but its not, its in pair mode, and starts flashing and making annoying arrow sounds over and over. How about it just says "power off" , "power on" not these goofy sound effects.

I ENDED UP BUYING A SECOND ONE SO I COULD PRODUCE A STERO SOUND. THESE SMALL SPEAKERS WORK VERY WELL TOGETHER. AFTER CHECKING ALL THE DIFFERENT "EQ" SETTINGS ON MY iPHONE THESE PAIRED SPEAKERS SOUND QUITE GOOD.

THEY LOOK GREAT ON THE MANFROTTO MTPIXI-B MINI TRIPODS.

This portable speaker is fantastic! I bought a lot of stuff on Amazon during the Christmas season and without a doubt, this is my favorite purchase. I use it on my mountain bike. It gets dusty or muddy, I just wash it off in the sink. I use it on my road bike and it sounds great, even at higher speeds. After one long bike ride with friends, a couple of them needed to charge their smart phones. I let them use the Boombottle+. It charged them with no problem after a few hours of using it myself.

I also use it around the house, in the kitchen, the bathroom, and even in the shower. I think I use it even more than my fancy Sonos system. I take it with me when I go out in the backyard or even when I'm in my office at work and feel like listening to some music. The best thing about this speaker is that it's super rugged and waterproof. It really holds up to abuse. It's very reassuring to have and use a quality product and not have to worry about it getting damaged. I plan on buying at least one more or maybe two more, just because I like it so much.

Highly recommend! I was totally blown away by the sound quality. Feels very well made. The Plus model is definitely worth the little bit extra investment. I will update the review when I've crashed a few times on the trail.
**5/21/16 Update** I still enjoy the sound, but after less than a year of use, the battery doesn't even last 30min!! Very disappointed in such a premium priced speaker.
