Not just for bug bites!!!

So, I got this because my son reacts really bad to mosquito bites.

But... bored mom was in the bathroom one day and noticed a black head on her nose.

Bam!!!

This thing will clean your pores too!!!

DO NOT USE ON THIN SKIN ON FACE UNLESS YOU WANT A HICKY.

But my nose, chin and cheeks look soo much better.

Bonus, it's cheaper than buying a 50 dollar electric black head remover.

Highly recommend for people with large funky pores.

Works, but may leave a mark!

We live in Minnesota, where the mosquito can nearly ruin summers. My husband, myself, and our 2 kids are all mosquito magnets. We've tried everything to keep them under control in our backyard, but nothing works. This seemed worth a $10 investment to try. My husband was the first to try it out after getting a bite on his temple while mowing the lawn. He pushed the plunger about halfway, immediately felt relief of the itching, felt no pain, but as soon as he lifted it off his skin saw a ring shaped bruise form underneath it. I don't think he prefers the giant bruise on his face over the itchy bite, and he's not looking forward to work on Monday.

Simply, literally life-changing

I cannot stress to you enough how much better this simple little tool has made my quality of life during summer in Ohio. It rains a lot. There are a lot of mosquitoes. Omg so many mosquitoes. I have horrific allergic reactions to mosquito bites. We're talking bumps swelling to the width of softballs within minutes of the bite. This tool doesn't make those bumps go away, but it stops the itch IMMEDIATELY.

I was a huge skeptic; how could a little suction cure this agonizingly itchy allergic reaction? I'll be honest. I still really don't know how it does, but it provides instant relief that no pill, cream, or injection ever has ever achieved for me. If you live anywhere where insect bites are common, you need to own one of these!

I am a magnet for bites of all kinds and carry topical and medicines with me at all times - so I figured this would be a good product to see if it really works. It arrived Monday and Tuesday morning I woke up with a bug bite on my arm... I used this little tool (3 x per the instructions) and documented with photos.
- immediately after using, it stopped itching! And less than 24 hours later the bump / bite gone! There is a very faint red mark from using the thing but a small price to pay IMO. Bottom line: it's awesome. I'm carrying it with me everywhere!

Weird but helpful

Do I think it removes all the irritants? No.

Does it prevent welts? No.

But does it remove enough to prevent my kid from scratching open sores on himself? Hell, yes!

This seriously upgraded our summer by making mosquito bites short-lived bothers rather than week-long sores.

maybe a lifesaver for wasp or bee stings

I bought this because i have wasps near my garden. I never expected to need it 2 days after receiving it, but I was stung twice yesterday. I used it on each of the stings, and immediately reduced the pain and itching of those stings. today there is still some swelling at the sites, but considering that the last time i got stung i was on antihistamines, cortisone cream, and pain killers for a week, this simple device has already been well worth the expense. I'm not sure how it would work for mosquito bites but for wasp or bee stings this is the bomb!

The BEST EVER
by Andrea (5 out of 5 stars)

This is the absolute best thing I've ever used on mosquito bites in my life. I have a rather large veggie garden and spend lots of time in it, harvesting veggies and getting eaten by mosquitoes. Yesterday I had 24 bites on my leg... Today I have just a couple of tiny red dots left where they were. The picture shows what the bite looks like directly after using the device. I love this thing and recommend it to everyone I know! It's outstanding. That being said... On my back, where my daughter helped me get to the mosquito bites, and my skin is more sensitive... It gave me a hickey. You don't have to depress the lever as far as it goes. I depress it until it just stays to sting a little, then stop. Don't overdo it! It's not necessary!

Just ... okay.

It is hard to pass up an inexpensive product with great reviews, but I'm not too convinced about its effectiveness.

I've had it for a few days and tried it on multiple mosquito bites, but it maybe reduces itchiness 50% of the time. I suppose it's just ... okay. It wasn't a mind blowing experience by any means. It was about as effective as any anti-itch cream.

Your mileage may vary and it's cheap enough to test out for yourself without breaking the bank. It might work better for you.

Buyer Beware!!!

I was so excited about this product, but I had no idea it would do this to my face!!! It's been a complete nightmare. I followed the instructions exactly how it directed after being bit by a mosquito on the side of my face. This is going on 4 months later- and Itchy ring on my face has only gotten bigger. It started out as a ring the same size as the bug bite thing but has since continued to spread. I would take a typical mosquito bite over this any day. These bumps are itchy blisters, that itch every second of the day- from the moment I wake up even when I'm trying to sleep. I've never had acne or anything like this on my face and it's so embarrassing!!!

I wish I would have known the risks!!!! I never post reviews- but I don't want anyone going through this.

I fell for the hype and got burned. Or bit?

When I first saw this product advertised I was off to Amazon!! I figured, $10 wasn't too much to spend on something that may or may not work, and I was hopeful!! I read a ton of reviews and was super hyped about using this on our bug bites as we are very active family and often outside.

We just spent a little over a week in Florida where we were FEASTED on by no-see-ums and mosquitoes. In the product description, it claims this works on no-see-ums so I was desperately searching for relief!

I was let down big time :(

There was definitely a temporary relief when the suction action was taking place, but there was absolutely no long-term relief. I tried the big side of the suction and the small side on any bite I could reach literally to no avail. It would pull on the bite but never did it take the "venom" or whatever you want to call that liquid in there out. I had my husband try it in me in case I was doing it wrong. Nothing. It was passed around our beach house of 12 and no one was impressed or feeling like the Bug Bite thing was effective. Total bummer.

The photo I uploaded is a picture of my bites a week later.

On a positive note, my 6 year old sensory seeker absolutely loves how the suction feels so it's serving as a great calm down toy for her. My $10 is justified!!!
