Zipper goes the wrong way - it should zip up toward the buckle so money can be withdrawn without taking belt completely off. Poor quality. Top surface seems to be some kind of painted white plastic, flaking at buckle within a few weeks with white showing through. Guess I have to find another belt, perhaps you should too.

Absolute garbage. The buckle snapped right off the second time I put this belt on. Very chintzy, powdered metal, and cheap feeling leather too, with not much zipper space to boot.

My nylon Eagle Creek money belt has lasted through 8 years of daily use without a problem, and has more zipper space. I was hoping to have a more fashionable money belt while travelling on my honeymoon, but it looks like I'm sticking with the tried and true Eagle Creek.

It looks nice and fits fine, with room for a few bills. But. After 6 months of wearing it every day, the leather is rubbing away where the buckle presses against it (so there is a vertical line growing where the leather has been rubbed by the buckle). And I do not wear my belts tight, so the only pressure on it is from being buckled up and around my waist every day. My last leather money belt lasted probably 12-15 years, but this one will need to be replaced before I've had it a full year.

Functional, OK appearance

Performs the function of hiding currency for a very reasonable price, not dissatisfied with the purchase at about $13. The clasp works easily and the belt appears to run true to the size requested.

However:

Some of the finish is suspect - there is an uncolored bump of fabric protruding from the End Tip of the belt - when I removed it with a fingernail if left a small white area on a black belt.

The zipper on the inside of the belt is 17.5 inches long, very obvious and with even a small amount of currency folded twice to fit into the pocket, becomes distended and shows exactly where the cash is being carrier - in short, if you must take your belt off there will be no mistaking the purpose of the belt.

On my third day of wearing the belt, the stiff leather finish is showing wear/fold mark by the hole where I insert the metal prong.

Overall, I'd purchase this belt again for the purpose of concealing cash when casually traveling, but would look for upgrades if I wanted a belt where the purpose was less obvious, and this belt appears not be designed for long -term everyday wear.

Hi, maybe I'm being too picky giving this "leather belt" 2 stars out of a possible 5.

But, it does seem to be leather, but the overall quality is really not that great to be honest.

However, I purchased it only for travel purposes and won't be wearing it very often, so for this purpose ONLY, I would say that based on the cheap price, it is really a GOOD VALUE AT THE LOW PRICE.

But, sadly, if you were looking for a leather money belt for day to day I would keep looking as I don't believe the quality will hold up for every day use.

Bottom line - if you plan to use it only a few days a year while traveling, then it is FANTASTIC for that purpose based on the low price. But, if you are looking for a belt to wear often, keep looking.

BTW - the seller has been great, and I got it next day via Amazon Prime, and it was packaged well to protect it. The seller also sent a follow up email inquiring if everything with their service was good. So, I certainly would only say positive things about the seller. They are delivering an ok product at a really cheap price, with that understanding in advance, you won't be disappointed. :-)

Clean design that will go well with dress slacks. I love the fact that the zipper pull can be tucked into a "pocket" at the closure end, to prevent it from accidentally poking you in the side. The 17" pocket length is shorter than I would have preferred, and means you cannot get three sets of USDs inside without overlapping them. In my opinion, the zippered pocket should grow with the length of the belt. i.e. If a 26" belt can only accommodate a 17" pocket, then a 30" belt should be able to accept a 21" zippered pocket. But I would still recommend the belt w/ that single caveat.

works well but does not last very long. The black "leather" wore down very quickly in the spots where it is rubbed by anything (belt buckle) I bought it to have on vacation for a couple of weeks but beyond that it is not very useful

Nice looking belt decent quality. The zipper inside is so small it can hardly carry anything. Would not recommend for a "money belt" just an over priced leather belt. I wish I would have returned it as my son never used it.

Belt size is NOT pant size!

I discovered, to my horror, The despite my pant size being 36" my waist was actually 42" so what I ordered was too small and I returned it. I was also concerned that the belt seemed to be bonded leather rather than hide. I planned on using the belt when wearing jeans So I ordered a belt made by another manufacturer.

I ordered size 36 belt was exactly 36 inches long ! belt shriveled and shrunk in the sun to the point that the zippered section is bulging out with nothing inside. all in all not a good buy even though they offered a discount for a bent zipper pull.

i will buy another money belt but a larger size from another source.
