Beware blue ringed octopi

I bought this for my wife so she could try to befriend our new blue ringed octopus. It seemed to work for a while as the octopus appeared to want to mate with her finger. It became enraged when it realized that this was a ring, not a mate. Only after it bit her did we realize the blue ringed octopus is highly venomous (not to be confused with poisonous). Fortunately she didn't die and we earned a healthy respect from our little suction cupped covered friend. I let him keep the ring and he still wears it on one of his tentacles to this day.

I just got this today, I typically wait a while to review items but I do love this ring so much already I decided to give it the review.

I am using it on my thumb, which is does catch on my clothes sometimes depending on how my finger is bent but that's okay. I usually wear a size 8 in rings and this one is perfect, with just a tiny bit of adjustment. I trusted all the other reviews saying it didn't turn green, so I will have to update at a later time.

I really love this ring. I purchased the Titanium-Stainless Steel version and after over a year of near-daily wear, the ring still looks brand new! I was a bit skeptical as most rings that are not Silver/Gold will leave a mark on my skin as the plating wears off over time. This thing must be solid Titanium/Steel though, as the metal does not react with my skin at all, even in the humidity of Summer. The ring adjusts with some effort, but once you get it where you want, you're good to go. I bought this for my middle finger, for extra special rude gestures, and it did not disappoint!! Perfect for a little extra edginess at the office.

I had bought a similar ring from one of those Facebook ads, and it was terrible quality, with a visible welded seam, and sadly, it turned my finger green after two weeks of on and off wear. I just got this one, mostly based on the reviews and the photo which showed no visible seam, and I'm pleasantly surprised that it looks just like the photo. It feels like much nicer quality than the other one (which actually cost me more than this one, go figure). Obviously, I don't know if it's going to turn my finger green yet, but I have high hopes it won't based on the other reviews. Either way, I'm super impressed with it already! I'm glad I found this one; I was so sad at the quality of the other one because I loved it and got so many compliments on it. I have big fingers, so the fact that it's adjustable is also awesome.

Update 11/8/18:

So it doesn't turn my finger green. I wore it almost daily for the first few weeks, now I alternate it with a couple other rings so it gets worn all day a few days a week, and it looks and feels exactly the same as the day I got it. Super pleased!

Update 5/16/19:

I still wear this all the time and it still hasn't tarnished or turned me colors!

I've gotten it tangled in my curly hair a few times, and occasionally in plastic bag handles when carrying groceries though. LOL But despite that, it also hasn't become misshapen. I was able to slightly decrease the diameter when I lost weight though.

I get so many compliments on this. Love it!

I bought myself this ring on a whim because I love tentacle jewelry, and it was super cheap. I honestly wasn't expecting much, so I was pleasantly surprised when the ring showed up. It's exactly as pictured. It's comfortable to wear and adjustable. I've worn it out twice and gotten compliments both times. And my finger hasn't turned green either, which it instantly does with cheapo metal. I love the way this looks so much I'd just paint it with clear nail polish and wear it anyway!

I bought one for myself and have received so many compliments that I've purchased it for several friends. If you look around, you can see that numerous sellers have the same ring, so I think you're okay buying it from whoever has it cheapest that week. This is great for larger fingers. I don't know how good it would adjust for thin fingers. I got one for my daughter and myself. They are beautiful!!! So comfortable and the detail is amazing. I plan on wearing it daily so I will update if there is an issue.

This ring is gorgeous! I love all things tentacles... And this is no exception... And it's actually my second one, somehow the other one got lost so I had to order a new one... But the price is perfect and even if it was more expensive I would've bought another because it's my absolute favorite ring. (If I ever got engaged or married, they would have to incorporate some part of the ocean in that ring!) But if you're hesitant to get this... Just go for it... You won't regret it! I've got so many compliments on it !

I wasn't sure about the ring when it first came. It looked like the images, but I was apprehensive in buying it in the first place.

However, after a few days and finding a comfortable way to wear it, this ring gave me nothing but compliments. I've had people I've known for a while asking if it was new and people who I've never talked to asked me where I'd bought it.

I'd definitely recommend this ring! It's subtle enough but a great design. I wear it almost every day now.
