I found a great recipe for wine gummy bears online, but the only thing missing was the mold. I found these and they were incredible. I loved them and they even came with the dropper that made it even easier to use. What I like the best, was I was contacted by the seller and she offered to give me recipes as well as help me if there was anything I needed. To me that is going above and beyond and I thank them for that. Definitely recommended

Great success, adorable bears

I was excited to try these for making healthy gummy bears and they worked perfectly. I initially had trouble getting the bears out of the molds because the gelatin hadn't fully set, but with 10 minutes in the freezer they came out easily. The gummy bears are the same size as store bought ones (but with cuter details!). Each cavity holds just under 2 mL-I could fill three cavities with 5 mL in the dropper. The recipe I tried called for 1/2 cup fruit juice and 1.5 tbsp gelatin, and I was able to fill a tray and a quarter with that amount. At about 8.5" x 6.5" the molds are fairly small, so consider buying the set (two together will be slightly larger than a sheet of printer paper). The dropper was very helpful for filling, but I made sure to let my mixture cool before using it because I was afraid that the plastic wouldn't stand up to much heat.

About the recipe:

I used an unsweetened fruit juice from Trader Joe's (Power of Seven Organic Fruit Juice Blend) with a grass fed gelatin. Add the gelatin to the juice and let it sit for 5-10 minutes then heat until the gelatin melts (to at least 150 degrees and under boiling). The bears are tasty but very mild, so I am going to experiment with adding lemon juice and berry purée. They are also more like a thick jello than gummy bear texture, but I suspect that's because I chose not to add sugar or other additives. I used Vital Proteins Collagen Protein, Pasture-Raised Beef Gelatin (32 oz) as my gelatin because it's 100% grass fed from Brazil. Great Lakes Unflavored Beef Gelatin, Kosher, 16 Ounce Can also looks good, but I find that Vital Proteins is clearer and more knowledgeable about the way the animals are raised.

The mould is easy to use

I'm fairly new to making gummy bears but, I've tried these out several times now. The mould is easy to use, the bears pop out relatively easily (by pressing on the underside), and the bears are cute. My 5 yo was able to help me fill the trays using the included dropper. The recipes that are provided are similar to ones found on the internet but it was nice to see what the company thought was the right ratios for success. I haven't tried their version of the flu fighting gummy but, made one based on another of the provided recipes with juice and added the black elderberry syrup with great results. These passed the kid test for looking like real gummy bears! Great set for all of your homemade gummy needs.

This is cute and if you use a spray like pan or coconut oil in spray like I did then it would not stick and is easy to unmold, but I take out one star thanks to the stupid dropper, it took me 20 minutes to fill each of both with that stupid thing, and keep in mind I had 2 bigger molds that would be about the medium size of this, and i was filling one bear with my gummy mixture, if like me you want to make a kinda large batch or just save time get a ketchup bottle it would make the job faster, easier and efficient toss the stupid dropper in the trash or give it another use idk I just hated it.

My life just changed forever.

This gummy bear mold is probably the best thing I've ever purchased. I love to cook, and I love gadgets, so I thought it would be fun (and healthy!) to make gummy bears from scratch for my son and I.

Enter the Valentine's Day potluck I've been invited to... I decided to take the mold for a test drive by making adult gummies... With wine! I popped them out of the mold just moments ago and they are PERFECT.

I'm about to order a couple more so I can make lots of gummies at one time!

Edit: as stated, I ordered a set of two molds almost immediately after using this one for the first time! Spent the afternoon making healthy kid friendly gummies. Three molds' each worth of orange, strawberry, and blueberry. I had plenty of time to do other things around the house while each batch chilled, and really only three of them fit in my fridge at a time, so it was perfect.

This is an awesome mold!! I love everything about it! They are the perfect size and I love that it comes with a dropper! I've used it for gummies, frozen smoothie bites and frozen blended strawberry bites. My 2 year old son loves when I make him things with this mold. This is also a lot better quality silicone than some of the other mold I own and everything comes out of these super easy!

So NOW I KNOW that the good reviews on here are NOT fake!! I started with a really good recipe that had lots of Geletin powder in it to assure it would be firm. The molds are thick and VERY flexible! The dropper it comes with is AWESOME. You can suck up the liquid and move it over to your molds without losing a drop! VERY well designed! I followed the instructions as she said tho I did use Xylitol instead of Stevia as I do not like Stevia's after taste. I also ground up some Vitamin C into a powder and added about a teaspoon to that. It was suppose to cool in the fridge for 2 hours but I could not wait that long. After an hour I pulled them up and they were already set! It was actually fun (therapeutic? LoL) popping those little fella's out of their beds!! Perfectly formed. They taste great too with a nice Vitamin C tart! Looking forward to making more.

Elana's Pantry:

Ingredients
1 cup organic grape juice, pineapple, or pomegranate juice
1 tablespoon lemon juice
¼ teaspoon stevia
3 tablespoons gelatin

Instructions

In a medium saucepan bring juice to a boil

Allow to cool for 3 minutes, then stir in lemon juice and stevia

Very gradually, whisk in gelatin

If you do not whisk gradually and thoroughly your bears will be lumpy

Allow mixture to cool almost to room temperature, then pour into gummy bear molds

Refrigerate for 2 hours

Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 3-4 days

Each healthy gummy bear candy has close to 2 grams of protein -not bad for a snack food. My older son likes to eat these with breakfast.

These trays are pretty nice. I purchased them over other brands because they little bears had a little more detail with cuter paws and such. Overall, these work well and clean up easily. The dropper holds about 4-6 gummies worth of liquid in it at once, and makes filling this and other candy/gummy molds SO much easier.

My only complaints are that the trays are somewhat flimsy and the bears are a little small. I had to put the trays on a cookie sheet and then put that whole thing into my fridge because otherwise these are floppy and do need to be kept level to avoid a sticky mess spilling all over the fridge. The bears are smaller than the normal size of gummy bear you buy. I think they'd be better if they were about twice the volume they are. The heads sometimes break off trying to remove them, but this only happens occasionally.

I love this mold!! I bought this mold to make polymer clay bears for necklace charms. When researching molds, none had the detail I required for my craft. Then I found this gem. I know this is not the intended use but I couldn't pass on those paws and had to try it. Needless to say I am elated with this product. Shipping was fast and customer service is top notch!
