This is a wonderful little tool. It's small enough to go right in a backpack or purse, and very convenient for eating fruits and veggies in places where you shouldn't eat the peels. I give it four stars only because the ceramic knife doesn't seem entirely stable - if I cut an apple or a carrot, it seems to yank a bit out of the base.

Pros:
* Sharp ceramic blade
* Hygienic
* Convenient double-ended case
* Attractive design
* Transfers less tastes between different fruits and veggies

Cons:
* Lots of plastic
I love ceramic blades! The blade on this bullet knife is very sharp and passed a paper test with significantly more success than my freshly-sharpened steel knives. They also remain much cleaner and look great with their white finish.
The peeler works fine, but is only single-edged like many other ceramic peelers. I love ceramic, but one must keep in mind that it is best on fruits and should be kept away from items that may chip the blade like meat and bones.
I definitely would not put this in a dish washer; dishwashers dull knives as they clink around which would chip a ceramic blade, but the plastic doesn't look like it would hold up. The plastic makes this product feel cheap and too light-of-weight. It also squeals and screeches when you unscrew the caps, but a positive to this is that there is no exposed metal to rust. The bullet design is also easier to use than the sheaths and great for travelling.
Also, I am concerned about the grip while using the knife. There is only plastic to grip onto and the knife blade has absolutely no guard. If my hand were to slip forward, I feel I would surely be cut. I would not recommend this product over dedicated knives such as Hitecera Ceramic Veggie Fruit Knife and Peeler Ultra Sharp Lightweight-No Rust and Metal Taste,Great Kitchen Tool Set for Precise Cutting, Peeling,Keeping Original Taste and Color

I received a discount on this product to write a review. The peeler is questionable. It only peels one direction and is wobbly, but decent when held steady with your thumb. The knife is surprisingly good. It cut with minimal effort and is very easy to clean. The case was a hard plastic and felt sort of cheap.
